Fosi Audio Merak CD Player w/ optical line outputs DAC/Amp and CD ripping to USB Supports FLAC WAV WMA AAC MP3

The Fosi Audio Merak CD player is designed to fit easily into a home audio system while offering straightforward playback from discs and USB drives. Its optical and line outputs connect to a DAC, amplifier or active speakers, and a 12V trigger output can synchronize power with compatible equipment. A remote control makes it convenient to select tracks and switch inputs or outputs. A precision mechanism and servo system support stable disc reading and tracking for smooth playback. Gapless playback avoids pauses between tracks, making the Merak suitable for live albums and continuous classical works. Choose from four playback modes—Play Once, Repeat One, Repeat All and Shuffle—using the front-panel controls or remote. Opening the lid automatically stops the disc, reducing unnecessary rotation, while ESP anti-skip helps limit playback interruptions from vibration and movement. For private listening, the built-in 3.5 mm headphone jack provides up to 210 mW per channel, with no additional equipment needed. The Merak also plays music directly from USB drives up to 128 GB and can rip CDs to 16-bit/44.1 kHz WAV files on a USB drive. Its built-in CS43131 DAC and TPA6120 op-amps support PCM audio up to 16-bit/96 kHz; Fosi Audio specifies a 124 dB signal-to-noise ratio and 0.0009% THD. Together, these features make the Merak a versatile, plug-and-play option for listening to CDs, USB music and headphones.
