With the Derrick, the leather feels very tight and offers a nice grip in the hand.The only reason I rated this wallet 4/5 is the height - it would be perfect if just a tiny bit was trimmed off the height so it fits a little better in my hands. I am biased because my old wallet was slightly shorter, but it only had three stacks of cards on each side instead of four, so I'm sure I'll get used to this different size with time.

I had this embossed and received it with a noticeable scratch in the front. . It is embossed, so obviously whoever did the work saw the scratch and still packaged/sent it to me. It was supposed to be a gift. I still have not received a refund for the damaged product. They even told me to send the wallet back eventhough it's personalized/cannot be resold. I guess they would rather see it go to waste/ "fossilized" in a landfill (sent them a picture of damage). Their customer support people are incompetent and kept sending me different info to complete refund. The wallet is also very cheap looking. No more ordering from Fossil.

The embossing on my wallet arrived crooked and skewed. If you receive an irregular embossing they require you return the wallet before sending a replacement. I work full time and have three kids. The wallet was a gift. I barely have time to purchase personalized gifts, let alone return a product to a large company that made the error. Disappointed.

Good quality product have only been using it about a month so far has held up well. RFID works well badge readers cannot read through the wallet so credit cards should be safe. Plenty of space for cash cards and other things. Was thinking about a more minimalist wallet but I carry way too much (think hoarder wallet). Happy with purchase
I ordered the wallet to be embossed with my initials. Embossing was incorrect, twice, but they finally got it right on the 3rd try. The wallet is a bit larger than I expected and can be difficult to remove from my pocket. Seems to be good quality. My previous Fossil wallet lasted 17 years. Hopefully this one lasts that long.
I figured out recently that I really needed a new wallet. I wanted to tell my wallet, "Fat drunk and stupid is now way to go through life..." Anyway, Fossil made it easy. The ordering process was quick and smooth. The wallet came relatively quickly, and I got notifications about the order status. Overall, a very easy and positive shopping experience. And, the wallet itself is very nice. (And a good value)
This is my husbands 2nd one of these the last one held up so well and lasted 2 years, which is unheard of for him! So why such a low star rating? I chose the embossing option to make it fun for the gift. It was suppose to read BWF his initials.. he opened it and quickly began switching his cards over later I realized the embossing read BMF he didn't notice because he thought it was a logo of some sort. My heart dropped because I thought I made a mistake but when checking order I realized I enter it correctly.Now his cards are all in and his old wallet is thrown away so we have no choice but to keep it with random huge letters inside I'm so disappointed and will be going a different route for a custom wallet in all our future purchases :(
Purchased online. The wallet arrived quickly. However they gave us a different version of the wallet we ordered. It was also scratched. The lovely brown swirl effect of the leather also does not exist. It’s pretty much just brown. Nice enough in general but upset about this purchase and it went back to the store. Fail ☹️

My oldest son used my old fossil wallet for a while which had two flip id widows in which had become cracked over time when I had it. I said to my oldest son that I would try and find one similar to my original wallet. he stipulated that he didn't like the thumb slots on the ID windows but liked my original all plastic clear window. So I decided as my son liked it I would buy him a new wallet for Christmas present which I had seen on the Fossils website. The wallet in question was a Derrick RFID Flip ID Bifold with 2 clear ID Windows on the website which clearly shows no thumb slots on the ID window.. However when I received the wallet the ID windows had thumb slots in the centre like the Derrick RFID Large Coin Pocket Bifold 2 ID Windows with thumb slots in the middle. As time has now run out for Christmas period I will have to see what he thinks of his present.
I've received the wallet with some wrinkles on it. I've bought this product 2 years ago and I didn't have this problem. I also removed the tag without noticing because it is a gift for someone. I'm not sure if this product has been given a new touch or not. I would like to exchange this product but I'm not sure if I will be able to get the same product in time because I'll be flying outside the country soon. Is it okay if I can exchange this product in person as I have limited time? Please look into this matter. Thank you for your time.
