This fork is exactly what you expect from Fox for a premium highly adjustable fork. It has the new crown design so, while it has threads for a mudguard, there isn't one available that will work on it (yet - syncros has one on their site but it's not available for purchase yet). I really appreciated that they give you everything you need including the star nut and maximum volume spacers so that you can just install amd go about your tuning process. Of course, don't get it if you aren't into tuning your suspension. You essentially have 6 things to play with, 2 on the left (pressure and volume spacers, amd 4 on the right high and low speed compression amd dampening). Replaced Fox 34 Fit4 120mm with this Fox 34 Grip2 140mm on my Pivot Mach 429 SL. . 20mm extra travel and Grip2 provide a much smoother ride. Control also feels better.

I bought a fox 34 sc 140 travel is amazing fork, very good product. I recommend to everyone to buy it.
Handles light XC duty with ease. However, it's incredibly noodly and can't hold a line on step/technical trails. Can't say enough how bad this fork is. For what it's worth, I've been trying to ride a 2022 Giant Trance Advanced Pro 29 as a custom 125/140 setup. However, the bike is an absolute beast of a climber/descender with a 150mm Lyrik. I can't wait to sell the 34 and get a 140mm Pike Ultimate.
Overforked from a SID Select+ 120mm to this Float Factory Grip 2 130mm. I took a small weight penalty and thinner stanchions but this fork feels stiffer and more compliant than the SID. Suspension stroke is buttery smooth (no stiction) and floats over the small bumps, feeling planted the whole time, in a way I couldn't dial the SID into doing. And this is all with the factory recommended settings for my weight other than adding extra PSI. Big hits feel the same as SID, never feeling like bottoming out. Very happy with the purchase!
Great having high a low speed compression. Supportive going up lips, but can sill take big hits on drops. You don't have to find a middle ground with your set up. You can have the best of both worlds. Fox makes great stuff.
An excellent choice for a new build, given top of the line tuning options. The colour and kashima coating, while probably just adding to the cosmetic touch only, does look fantastic. Super happy with the plush ride.
Game changing upgrade on my 2018 Niner Jet9. This replaced the 4 year-old 130mm FIT 4 fork. A few tweaks from the base tune and I was in business. One star deduction for the spendy price but, if you want to party, then the piper must be paid.
The Grip 2 damper on these forks really ups the capability. I have been using this fork on two separate bikes for the past couple of years. This fork is an excellent choice for a trail bike that uses a 130mm or 140mm fork. The Grip 2 damper offers excellent tunability and customization in a lightweight package.
