Great helmet for the price. Wanted something with more protection that my regular speed frame helmet. Not as heavy as you'd think not much more than a regular half head helmet. I had to get the next size up as it is a very snug fit. On my speed frame I'm a medium but with this I had to go with a large.

Sizing was spot onExtremely comfortable, well vented.It comes with lots of different sized pads so you can tune the fit perfectly.After having an off and destroying my old helmet I tore my ear up so decided I'd like the extra bit of protection the dropframe offers.I do also own a full-face but it's quite uncomfortable for long trails. This is absolutely ideal.It's the only helmet I've ever owned that comes on and off without taking my glasses off too, and the quick release magnetic clasp is supeb.

This helmet’s sizing makes no sense. The Speedframe Large size fits better than the Extra Large size of the Dropframe! The fore to aft fit as far tighter on the Dropframe. Otherwise, the design looks great and performs well - if you have a round head and not egg-shaped apparently. Get this sizing sorted out, with some adjustability and you will have a winner.

If you are considering getting a full face and a half shell, but don't want to spend the money on both, then look no further! This helmet is the perfect combo, with great side, and back protection to give you the confidence to push your riding. With full-face helmets, it can sometimes be hard to hear your surroundings, but with the open ear hole, you can hear everything and even have space for a wireless earbud if you like to listen to music. Fits seamlessly with googles as well!
When my helmet first arrived I immediately tried it on and it was very tight on my head. I then realized that additional helmet pads were included that were thinner. I replaced the thicker pads that came with the helmet to the thinner pads. What a difference! The helmet fits nice and is comfortable. I really enjoy the added protection for my head. My friends all complement my new helmet. I ride in my local mountains a lot. Glad I made the purchase!
The fit is amazing. The graphics are sweet. The helmet vents well. This is my second Dropframe. I love them bith
I love this helmet. It came with two different sets of pads, with different thicknesses and I was able to adjust it to fit my melon just right. It's lightweight and very stylish in my opinion.
I love the idea of this helmet but it just doesn't fit my head. Unfortunately if you are a Large Mainframe or Speedframe the sizing will be close but not quite identical since there is not adjustment in the DropFrame.Beautiful construction and super light.
in the words of the late Johnny Cochran, "if the helmet don't fit, you must return it." The look and color was amazing, which is why I purchased it to begin with. It was way too small even though I normally wear a medium in the Speedframe Pro, which I love. I of course returned it but don't fret, I ordered the new model which is more true to size. The return process is easy but takes forever to get your refund.
i have already owned a proframe for the last couple of years ,and loved its fit and design . have owned a troy lee A1 helmet for the last couple of years for general riding ,but never really got on with it for various reasons . so thought i would try the dropframe .and wow what a great great helmet ,first ride i almost forgot i was wearing it, which is always a great sign .fit is great and the fidlock buckle is a breeze .all positives from me . oh and also a bit extra protection as well .
