They are very slim fitting. Show every part of the body. I do really love themDownside is I find with all fox womens shorts they’re are always a little to narrow on the thigh. I’d expect more athletic build (do female mountain bikers have a larger thighs? Size xs. Can not size up as waist would not fit.
I was concerned about the sizing given the other reviews so ordered a large and a medium (usually wear medium) - medium was perfect. I am 5'7 135 first thing in the morning on a good day! They are really lightweight - thin fabric. Will be great for warm weather. Color is nice. Closure system is very simple which I think will be nice. No gap in the back as most shorts seem to have. ***Great fit! Going to buy the ones with a liner too.
I just recently bought a pair of these in blue. I’m 5’9”, 130 lbs, size medium. I rode in rainy/ muddy conditions and after I washed them- the stains weren’t coming out.I’m pretty disappointed that the fabric holds dirt and mud stains so much because you can’t really wear anything other than black which isn’t always what we want.
This is my first pair of Fox shorts. I'm 5'7", 121 lb and the size chart for these shorts indicated medium. Unfortunately I have to cinch the ratchet buckle all the way down to get them to fit me. If you buy these, consider the next size down but as others have said, the legs are definitely narrower than any other MTB shorts I've had. The fabric is very soft and I love the overall design. I hope Fox Racing can get the sizing right on women's shorts.
Runs extremely small. I ordered a medium. I am a size medium in any other brand. I couldn’t even get these up over my thighs. It’s too bad because the material is really nice, however it doesn’t really stretch.
I love these shorts and will be buying another pair. The ventilation is awesome for hot summer days and the fabric is very thin, so you don’t feel any seams or return with chafing. I’m also a huge fan of the adjustable waist strap—no gaps in the back when bent over or climbing. I hope Fox adds more colors (nutmeg/camel), so I can stock up on more!
Mostly love these shorts. My only complaint is that the closure system makes all the fabric bunch up in front of my crotch which makes it look like I have a package. Otherwise they're great
