Love these biking shorts, the inner shorts w/Camino are great adding just right compression and comfort for long rides without any chaffing at all.Great length, comfortable & loose fit.Just wish there was tension strap on both sides of outer short.

I ordered these in my size 32. They were NOT 32. More like 33. With no adjustment strap. I returned and had to pay for shipping. Then like an idiot I ordered a 30 and of course way to tight. I measured them yo be a 29. What a joke and I’m done. THIS IS WHY THERE ON CLOSE OUT. ALL SALES FINAL. I’m highly upset and out $$$. Geez, thanks Fox for waisting my time and money. Now I’ll have to give them away. I feel FOX should send me some sort of DISCOUNT EMAIL OF NEXT PURCHASE. Horrible experience and will never order directly. Back to Amazon which I tried to avoid in the first place. I’m not the only review like this disappointing debauchery. Oh and NO sticker came with it like it was supposed to have. What a waist of time and money. Literally!

The Fox shorts and shammy is nice, but they don't stand up to the wear and tear. I've been using them for 3 months and the inner short is starting to fall apart since the stitching is coming out. I also don't like how the bottom of the shorts will slide up my leg. A pair from another brand I had incorporated a sort of rubber that would grip my skin and prevent the bottoms of the leg from sliding up. I've been using my walmart pair for years and they are still standing strong. The Fox pair don't feel like they are made from an as high grade of material as they should be. I'm honestly very disappointed.

The shorts are absolutely awesome, the quality is great, true to size and all. HOWEVER, the photos and description never say they don’t have a draw string or belt loops!! They fall right off during my ride! I had to have my daughter stitch belt loops into them. I would’ve rather not had that done to them. Unusable for me without drawstring or belt loops.
Fit well, stretch and are breathable. Come with liner shorts that work together nicely. No zip pockets, no rear pockets. The fly has no zip or Velcro, fine for biking(probably helps ventilation) but a little strange when your wearing them out for a beer.
The length was right. The quality of the fabric is great, but the belt system didn’t work for me. I had to send 2 pair back that I really wanted to make work. I wear a 36 waist in everything in order to get some extra room through the quads, but I’m actually a 35”. There is no way to get that extra tightening at the waist with this sliding “belt” system. A simple Velcro set up would solve that problem. Also, there is no zipper or Velcro in the fly. It’s just folded over fabric, which would probably be ok normally, but I think it might sinch up the waistline a bit and alleviate some of the issues with the lack of a functioning belt for guys like me.
So fox keeps asking me to review my shorts. Love the brand, hate these shorts. No zippers, no waist cinch. Seriously like four way stretch that slips and co Stanton gets caught in the dropper. And to make matters worse, first fall, they ripped. Honestly, can’t believe their fox. If they didn’t have some stretch in them I would’ve given them one star. Save yourself some heartache and go with the full rangers as they have zippered pockets and they have a waist step to tighten. You’ll be disappointed if you buy these.
Ordered my normal size, turns out I lost weight during the lockdown. Called 99bikes support and they immediately suggested I head down to a store and exchange it. No dramas, too easy. Now on the shorts, as usual - Fox shorts are lightweight, made from sweat wicking material and it comes with a chamois. It doesn't come with the waistband adjustable thingies so make sure you get the sizing right. Straight forward shorts, just 2 pockets no fancy bits no extra hidden pockets no sunnies wipers. All good.
I got these to replace my older Ranger shorts. The fit was so much nicer. Not baggy like the older pair so they don’t get caught on the end of the saddle when you have to move around on. The fabric is tough but svelte and stylish, like you could actually wear them somewhere other than the trail. I remove the padded shorts inside because I would rather wear bib shorts instead (much more comfortable). Are these available without the liner? I would rather buy those. Awesome shorts! You’re definitely getting your money’s worth!! Happy Trails

This iteration of the ranger shorts has a much better cinch belt compared to the previous generation. The material seems to be a bit more wrinkle-prone compared to the previous generation, it's probably because of the material change. In the previous edition the shell was polyamide nylon / polyester / elastane, whereas this edition is polyamide nylon / elastane. Overall it's comfortable, stretchy, breathable, and durable. Like many items in the MTB world, Fox is overcharging at 85$.
