Fox Speedframe MIPS Helmet Size 55-59 Colour Dark Vintage

This helmet isn't as good quality as the Speedframe Pro, but it's still solid minus some nicks to the foam shell. Some of the Fox stickers are popping off the shell, and I find the Pro more comfortable, but it's lightweight and very adjustable. I think that this Large actually fits my head better than the Pro large, but I prefer the fidlock and quality of the pro over this.I mostly bought this for the color, and because I prefer a Dropframe for mountain biking. This will be my gravel helmet going forward.

Broke after 15 rides

Ratchet system failed in about 15 rides. Wouldn’t stand behind it. Offered a discount to spend more. Fourth time trying to post a genuine review on the poor quality and customer service. Starting to this these are manipulated reviews.

Excellent Helemet Saved my life!

Helmet is extremely comfortable and great air ventilation. Right now I'm a so glad I purchased this helmet I had a bell and never had to use it but man on man good thing I upgraded I started going harder on the downhill and lost control. And I crashed and things could have been worst. Thanks REI and Fox I'm happy I'm not 100 % busted and walking away with only sprains and bruises helmet did its job. Be safe out there

Good helmet but color chips easily

Comfortable helmet without a lot padding. My only complaint is that the paint scratches really easily. Haven't had my helmet long and it's covered in scratches from just normal wear and storage. It's a good helmet minus the cosmetic issues.

Great Fit and Protection

The fit and adjustment capabilities are perfect. The color was a little different than I was expecting, but still really cool. I give an A+++ for safety as I had a bad crash leading head first into a jump and the helmet absolutely saved me from a concussion or other head damage..

Great Helmet

I love this helmet. Very comfortable. This the first helmet that I have bought that I didn't have cut off the excess strap after adjusting them to fit. Love the purple color, too. I have many other brands of helmets and Fox is my favorite now.

Love it so far!

Helmet fits great and is comfy! Don’t even really notice it on my head. Got black because it was what became available in my size first due to limited supply during this Covid mess. Other than the color not being exactly what I wanted I’m very pleased with the styling and fit of the helmet. Ordered the POC Tectal Spin first, but that helmet sat too low on my head and interfered with my sunglasses. That was how I ended up with the FOX helmet. I also wear a size 7 1/2” fitted hat and bought the MEDIUM for reference. Fit of the medium is perfect. Hope this helps, definitely go try helmets on first though they all fit different and comes down to personal preference. My favorite bike helmet.

Nice helmet but caution to those wearing glasses.

Never had a Fox helmet before, but I like everything else they do, so I thought I would give it a go. I really like the placement of the visor and that there is some adjustability to it. The straps fit well and the clip is easy. I would recommend it.ProsThe fit of the helmet is nice.Adjustability is good and the shape is great so you don't feel any hotspots/pressure points on your head.The ventilation is better than most - the air really flows through the helmet (side effect of the MIPS?)Lighter than most.ConsThe helmet's straps are attached via the back and the small plastic extension at the temple. The Speedframe has an awesome fit with great back-of-head coverage and a nice visor location. It looks great with my big glasses, doesn't hold too much sweat, doesn't bounce around, and the fit dial on the back is easy to adjust with gloves.I use this for probably 80% of my MTB rides as well as commuting and my gravel rides. It's not heavy enough to warrant a gravel-specific helmet and it's stylish as an everyday lid.
