These skates are amazing. Very very happy with this purchase. I highly recommend them. The fit is just right, even for my wide feet. The solid boot is fantastic as it feels secure on your ankles. I feel more balanced and stable when I skate. The frames are strong, they don't feel flimsy when I jump around. The wear in period was barely noticeable and quite short. I go skating regularly and they are certainly keeping up so they seem like they are going to last me quite a while which is ideal. I am extremely happy with these blades.

very comfortable & smooth. slightly pricy but good
I upgraded from my soft boot to hard boot. It’s very comfortable and my skills has gone up in few days since I bought this skate
In all honesty, there's not much else I can use. My foot width is literally off the charts. I'm technically a 10US at 7E width.I typically wear a size 12 shoe, with Altra running shoes, I can get away with 11. Skate-wise, I have to use a 45 liner, in a 46-47 shell.Essentially, if it weren't for FR shells, I would have to get very expensive custom skates made. Also, because I'm oversizing for the sake of foot width, the ball of my foot is further back than the shell size expects, making the 7 mounting holes on the FR1 absolutely essential, for moving my frame back a notch. This is the 2nd FR1 I have bought, and planning more for different setups. This particular model, (3x110mm) has the shortest frame of any 3x110 frame currently on the market,.. actually shorter ... MoreIn all honesty, there's not much else I can use. This particular model, (3x110mm) has the shortest frame of any 3x110 frame currently on the market,.. actually shorter than almost all frames for 100mm wheels as well. I like short frames, for an easier time steering around crowds. So, really glad I can use this frame. With my other setup, (and the two I'm planning), I swap out the frame, and have spares lying around. If I can fault the FR on one thing, it would be the virtual impossibility of finding "boot-only" options around. That would save me money, and not have a pile of spare frames and unused liners hanging around. But, all in all, it's the only freeskate model I see myself using for the foreseeable future.PS.. They're really comfy with a Reign or MyFit liner, with Superfeet insoles.
