Fresh - Black Tea Instant Perfecting Mask (100ml/3.4oz)

$94 USD is a LOT of money for a relatively simple product in terms of ingredients. There really isn't much in here, but whatever is in here - works! And it's mainly the Rice Ferment Filtrate (similar to what's in SK2's Facial Treatment Essence) and Black Tea Ferment that's doing all the hard work. I apply this somewhat heavy gel-texture mask on my cleansed, dry skin for up to 20 minutes, tissue off and then rinse until it's all removed. It does have a cooling effect but not in a mentholated way (I quickly scanned the ingredients list again in case I missed menthol the first time and it's absent). Once I've removed it I definitely see a difference in texture and radiance. My skin doesn't feel any smoother or more moisturized when using it, it doesn't help with my acne, and there are other products with antioxidants--including black, white, and green tea-- that cost significantly less. This isn't a bad mask, but it certainly isn't a great mask either, and for almost $100 I better either be getting at least that much in quality or quantity, and this offers neither.

After washing off, it was like I got a mini face lift, dark circle filler/concealer, and, To quote my BF, ‘softer than a babies bum.’ He forgot to say incredibly bright, glowing, the cool feeling let’s a while, increasing my mood. My only qualm is I felt a bit duped by the qty. I know it’s a glass container but feel the ‘walls’ /‘bottom’ are v thick; leaving u with an amount that’s ~ 10 uses, 7-8 if applied S instructed. Cooling and calming

Got this in Sephora's birthday beauty gift last year and ended up enjoying it! It leaves a cooling sensation on the face even after rinsing it off. I have purchased the second bottle already. I'm not sure if it does anything significant for the face, I just enjoy using it and the clean feeling it gives me especially during this hot season. Wish it wasn't so pricey but managed to get it during the skincare promo period so that's great.

Great before a special event

While I'm not sure that this mask gives any "long term" results or benefits, plus it's pretty pricey (hence the one star off) it is a great mask to use before an event or night out. It gives my skin a nice smooth texture perfect for then applying makeup. It also feels cool and refreshing. I either use this or Tata Harper's Resurfacing Mask when I want my skin to look smooth and even before a special event. Definitely recommend.

Instant hydrating

This mask is so easy to use and you’ll get great results from it. You simply cleanse your face and pat dry then apply a thin layer to your skin and allow it to absorb into the skin for around 10 minutes then rinse off excess. It leaves my skin plump and hydrated, tightens pores and reduces the appearance of pores. It has a nice cooling sensation and a natural scent to it. Lovely experience to use

This is an okay mask. I bought the 1oz size during the Fresh sale. It has a very cooling effect that feels like menthol. I think it’s probably good at temporarily reducing redness, but my face hasn’t had much redness so I haven’t seen much noticeable effect with this mask. I’ve left it on for around 20-30min, which is longer than the recommended time, which makes sense because the cooling feeling starts to feel a little uncomfortable at that point. I do like the texture. It’s very smooth and soothing under my hands, and an interesting texture for a wash off mask. Also this mask sinks in and goes on invisible and matte, so it has the perk of my being able to use it during work from home days/zoom calls/running downstairs to grab my mail/etc. From the reviews, I think ... MoreThis is an okay mask.
