I'll be honest if you don't put the lid on properly.and.it gets stored on its side by mistake ....boohoo all the oil runs intoyour drawer and you are left with dry sugar chunks. I won't make that mistake again. This is a seriously pricey scrub but smells perfectly lemon brown sugar but refined not sickly sweet. But it is narcotic addictive I've been literally sad washing it off. Leaves you incredibly soft as expected. Not your average crap scrub this is sharp sugar chunky crystals and it will slough off a LAYER! THANK GOD!

Fresh Brown Sugar Body Polish is an absolute indulgence for the senses. This iconic body scrub is a testament to the power of simplicity and natural ingredients. The moment you open the jar, you're greeted with a delightful aroma that instantly transports you to a spa-like oasis. The texture is a perfect balance of gentle exfoliation and rich moisture. The brown sugar crystals are just the right size – they effectively buff away dead skin cells without feeling abrasive.

I’m a long term user of Fresh products, they’re natural, smooth and were always reliable. Sadly the brown sugar body scrub has changed - the packaging is now flimsy and poor; the once delicious smell has changed, but most of all it’s hugely heavy with oil, it always had a good oil content but now it’s hugely oily thus making shower/bath perilously slippery and the new flimsy packaging doesn’t withstand being thrown around in the hold during a flight - so disappointing that a once wonderful product is no longer so.

I bought this after seeing a YouTuber that typically doesn’t steer wrong rave about it. Figured with the price point it would be amazing. This product is less than average. Like others have reported you can get a better result with drug store scrubs a fraction of the price. I love that it’s “clean,” but you can make a clean scrub at home...The granules are huge which don’t leave you feeling scrubbed. It’s like they’re just there for effect lol. Now I love love love the sheen it gives my skin after the shower and I like the way it smells. Mind you it does not smell sweet or sugary...it’s a citrusy smell. That’s the only reason it’s not getting 1 star. There is a lot of oil and it does separate as others have stated. You gotta kinda get in there to grab an even amount ... MoreI bought this after seeing a YouTuber that typically doesn’t steer wrong rave about it. Figured with the price point it would be amazing. I’d rather them sell the oil as in shower moisturizer than add chunks and call it a scrub. I might be here for that. I’m debating returning...or just using it up to skip the hassle. Most likely wouldn’t buy again unless it was on sell or something. I keep trying to branch out with scrubs, but personally the Necessaire scrubs are the only ones that truly leave me polished and soft directly after use.
I have tried fresh’s bath & shower gel before, just not exactly this fragrance. Anyhow, I shall tell you why I didn’t enjoy it as much. (Remember, this is my personal opinion after using it, it may differ with each user).I usually don’t purchase products like shower gels before I smell the scent of it first. However, due to covid, we are unable to shop in-store and I gave it the benefit of the doubt because I’ve used their Lemon shower gel and it was gorgeous and fresh! This one in comparison made me disappointed but there are a few good points too.If you prefer a more masculine smell, more darker notes fragrance but with a hint of fruity as well, this may be good for you. (It reminds me of my dad’s shower gel, I think his is fresher to be honest)I usually like fresh scented body wash. When I used this for the first time, I was expecting fresh notes to pop through and although I did scent the lychee coming through, it was only for a brief moment, before it totally changed. When I use their lemon one, you would get this strangely satisfying fresh smell before the lemon popping through, that was what drawn me to the product and ended up purchasing. I suppose I was hoping the same for this one, but the fragrance was totally different but if I smelt this in store, I definitely wouldn’t have bought it. If I could return it I would and buy the lemon one, but since I’ve used it, I’m sure they won’t accept returns. Which is cool, I’ll have to use it, as it’s quite pricier that most shower gels you can find in the market.I can’t quite explain the scent clearly, but you do get the subtle lychee scent coming through and then it vanishes. If you like fresh body wash, I wouldn’t recommend this one but try the lemon one. Or if you like earthy tones, like perfumes Scent like Jo Malone, that have unique fragrances, this might be the one for you. For the price I’m paying, I would like it to stick onto my body after showering, however this one disappears quite quick. The only scent it leaves is in the bathroom, when you step out it vanishes. Sadly, I won’t be purchasing this scent again.
Such a shame as its actually a great scrub that leaves the skin soft and heavily moisturised BUT I wanted a warm, brown sugar, creme brulee, cakey gourmand smell. This just smells like lemon or hand sanitizer. Its too citrusy fresh - so misleading and Im really upset. The title should say lemon cake rather than brown sugar polish. Also, because of the oils it leaked all over my bag.
Milk hand creamWith soothing plant-based milks centella, rice & linseed 50mlFirst application feels smooth and silky on the skin, not heavy, not sticky. The design is sleek, with an easy to open and close lid. No concerns with dropping the lid as it's the usual flip top lid.Hands look moisturised and supple. But the down sides for me where I feel dryness in my fingers around the cuticles. So very disappointed as the moisturing affect is not long lasting. On my hands the milk hand cream absorbs fast and loses moisture fast around cuticles then fingers. I tried this hand cream as my holy grail hand cream Seaberry appears to be discontinued. I loved it used it for as long as I can remember and it's larger size is also preferred. This is unfortunately and I hate ... MoreMilk hand creamWith soothing plant-based milks centella, rice & linseed 50mlFirst application feels smooth and silky on the skin, not heavy, not sticky. Leaves cuticles feeling dry and fingers up to first and second nuckles dry. Extremely odd I know.
When this product first came out, it was about $75 and the scent was TO DIE FOR. It was so absolutely incredible......fresh but a bit sweet, but not cloyingly so, and the fragrance stuck with you and was something so addicting that the customers made the company put out a perfume and other items to try to capture this fragrance w/out the sugary scrub itself, and then the husband and wife team who made this line sold their company and this specific product was one of the biggest losers in that deal. The scent is now nothing magical or incredible. It is just another scrub with maybe a bit of a nicer fragrance, but nothing special about it at all. There is no pop or sparkle or captivating scent anymore. It is just meh and now it is not worth the price point at all ... MoreWhen this product first came out, it was about $75 and the scent was TO DIE FOR. It is just meh and now it is not worth the price point at all anymore as a result b/c at least back then the scent was worth spending all this money on a regular scrub. I hate it when companies just change ingredients up and expect for the public to just act like we don't notice. If by some miracle you can find the old scrub.........the scent was just so perfect and I miss it badly.
Love this. It smells so yummy, just like good host iced tea mix. My legs get so itchy and bumpy after shaving, so I ordered this. The crystals dissolve really well and it left my legs feeling so soft and comfortable. I used a tiny bit of soap after using this to wash a bit of the oil off after as my skin is super sensitive and breakout prone and it still felt absolutely amazing afterwards.
This soap is huge, like a giant jacket potato size. I could barely hold it and rub it on my hands when it was new.I have been using it for 8 months now and it’s still massive. The scent is nice when you first open it, but then after that you can’t smell anything. It won’t lather up, which is frustrating.I don’t like to waste things but I’m thinking of throwing it away because there’s nothing nice about using it.The tiny crystal on the packaging is a nice addition. No, I wouldn’t repurchase.
