I bought this slide specifically because the web page mentions a locking mechanism to prevent the slide from closing when extended and the vehicle is at an angle. I’m super disappointed. Nice slide, but (1) the locking mechanism doesn’t work. One of the reasons why shopping with Frontrunner works well usually, is because the web site gives so much product information. I really suggest you update this product's web page to show what the locking function looks like because (2) the locking functions on fridge slides usually look different and function more foolproof. So what I got with this slide is not what I expected, and I'm probably not the first one. (3) The installation instructions does not mention the locking mechanism.
