Kellogg's Frosted Flakes Cereal - 13.5 oz

Even though I don't eat these on a regular basis, they are something that I buy when they are on sale because I know everyone in the house loves the taste of them. They have the same downside as Kellogg's Corn Flakes, they start to get soggy in milk in about five minutes. If they go past the one month mark they have an odd taste to them. When I open a box of these I store the cereal in an air tight container to preserve the flavor and crunch of them because I hate it when people do not close the bag up properly and I end up with crunch-less cereal. As a father of twins anything that helps save me and my wife in time and clean up is a win! The variety was awesome the size was much better than others I've tried. There wasn't a single flavor they did not like or try, eating them dry or with milk. For anyone I would recommend Kellogg's Frosted Flakes.

Box Smells Like Cologne Cereal has a Weird Taste

This review only applies to THIS particular box of cereal (I would assume). The box smells like cologne or perfume. I thought the person who packed it had cologne/perfume on their hands. No big deal. The box has been sitting on top of my refrigerator for 3-days, it still smells like cologne. Opened the box, tried some cereal and it has a cologne/perfume taste to it. No clue why or what happened with this particular box, but it's in the trash. Again, this only applies to the box I received. There may be others, but I hope not.

Corn Flakes Are Better And Less Scary

I used to love these when I was a kid. It was basically the only thing I ate for breakfast and whenever I saw these in the grocery store I begged my mom for them until she bought five boxes. I think what I loved most about them was that they were thin enough that a mouse could chew them and that they were covered in that extraordinarily sweet frosting. This combined with the milk and my ability to eat an entire box in one sitting makes me surprised that I didn't OD on sugar at some point. But inevitably, it became too much. One day when we went to the cereal aisle I got terrified. I had never noticed it before, but there was a TIGER on the box. Now I can't unsee it. These not only taste better in my opinion, but they have a much less scary animal on the box - a chicken named Cornelius. For anyone else's child who's scared of this monstrosity on the frosted flakes box, get corn flakes instead. Make sure it's the on brand ones though, the other ones don't have a comforting chicken on them.

Damaged goods. Too hard for me to return. Very 😡

I've been recovering from an injury for years and I cannot walk which is why I pay way too much money ordering things online. Like this box of cereal. But I have to admit when the photos were brought to me I couldn't help but think somebody thought it was a box of Charmin, but I have to put up with my $8 box of cereal arriving crushed. Now I'm supposed to somehow figure out how to get it back out. When I pay people to help me do things. It's not even worth it. And I guess I won't be buying cereal from here again. a can of pineapple had a big dent in it too. Which if you know dance lead to metals in your food. Haven't looked at the rest hope I don't get any more surprises. You'll notice the box that came in was not crushed

Frosted Flakes are GREAT!

We have enjoyed Frosted Flakes since we were young. I ate them as a child, my husband ate them as a child, and imy three children, while growing up, ate them.Now my grandchildren are eating Frosted Flakes almost every day. My husband' still considers Frosted Flakes his favorite breakfast cereal. We ALWAYS have a box or two in the pantry

Lame

Frosted flakes used to be my favorite cereal as a child. I saw boxes of these on sale at my local grocery store and snapped a family sized box up. When I got home, I was almost salivating as I made myself a bowl. I quickly noticed the flakes were much smaller than I remembered and the milk sogged the cereal quickly. As well, the taste was not near as good as it was in the 70s and 80s. I'm so bummed!

Some things just are not the same.

The corn flakes in this cereal have shrunk and they are hard. A tenth of the bag is loose sugar, and although when the milk starts to break down the flake there is a hint of that old time goodness, they have changed and I can't say I'll give them another try. B.J.s still has the best deal however if you're inclined to like this cereal. Again you get two boxes for a little more than one box in the market.

I love Frosted Flakes. It reminds me of childhood and I still indulged as an adult on occasion but I hated buying a full box because I never could eat the whole thing before it went stale. So I was extra excited when the single serve containers came out. I would buy 2 or 3 and they stayed fresh for the couple of months they stayed in my pantry. Then Kellogs went to the new 4-pack. And even that didn't bother me. I'd buy 4, only it's now 4 for the price of 6. No way. It's ridiculous. So I'll be giving up my beloved Frosted Flakes.
