Fujifilm - Camera - X-T20 + XF18-55 mm, 24.3 Megapixels - Black (Ref: 16542816)

Bough mine a year ago and totally worth the investment. I’m a part time freelance videographer and the vídeo quality is perfect! I would love to invest in a X-T3 or T4 but since I’m not currently working that often with video só o decided to go for this one and I don’t regret at all! Amazing quality, it’s small and light weight, easy to carry every wear (love to take in when I go on vacation to take photos and can’t tell you enough how much I love everything about it. I’ve been a Canon DSLR user since ever and at first it was a bit hard to switch to Fujifilm mirrorless system but I got used to it and I don’t see myself going back to a DSLR again.

Being an owner of multi generations of Fuji Cameras... including the latest models, the X-T2 moves the bar to a new high level. The image quality is equal or better than the Fuji X H-1; the perfomance in lower light situations is very good; the value is stellar. Couple all this with the consitent build quality and Fuji's commitment to keeping their products fresh through regular firware updates and you have a winner. This time it is the X-T3. IQ with Fuji's quality lenses, yield some of the best images I have seen since starting my move from Nikon.

My friend owns the camera and I had the chance to borrow it from him for a day and I really enjoyed the experience! If you're looking for an all-arounder that can handle the full gamut of photography styles and video work, this camera has you covered. It's the best enthusiast-level hybrid camera we've tested. With a full-frame sensor, you have plenty of leeway to crop and edit your photos, and image quality is generally fantastic. Planning to purchase one soon.

This camera is great, though idk why Influenster adds random product lines when wanting to review things. This product say' body only' but I got body and lens to review here. This camera is lightweight and awesome to work with in the field, if yoh want to do social stuff, save you money cause a normal dslr can be used for that. Mirrorless camera like this are perfect for film production and captures movements of your subject well.

If you're looking for a small, high quality, fully functional mirrorless camera that's loaded with tons of features, that's customizable, and reasonably priced, then this is the one. Did I mention all the wonderful glass available from Fuji? Long answer: (Examples were taken with the x-t20 and the xf 35mm f/2 R WR.) Image quality - This 24mp aps-c sensor is fantastic. It's sharp and clear, and renders image quality even at higher ISO settings. The colors on this camera are also fantastic. I shoot RAW so definitely comes out of the camera pretty flat (which is what I'm looking for), but it has high quality color information. High enough resolution that cropping is an option if needed without too much quality sacrifice. Noise is a slight issue at higher ISO, more than my Full-Frame I'm used to but barely, and it can be easily managed with some basic noise reduction in post-processing. I generally shoot below ISO 1600 where noise is no issue at all, but even up to levels of 3200 or 5000 quality loss due to image noise is acceptable. So this is a great camera for use in low light, especially when used with Fuji's fast primes like the 35mm f/2 WR that I use. Dynamic range is something to talk about on this camera for sure. It has fantastic dynamic range when shooting RAW and can be adjusted nearly a full 3 stops without too much degradation in quality. When shooting a photo such as the attached photo through a gazebo into a bright exterior scene with the sailboat and rainbow, you can expose for the bright part of the scene and still draw amazing detail out of the shadowy dark region of the photo. See for yourself after some adjusting with Adobe Light Room (Lr). Another example photos attached is to show the clarity and contrast capabilities. This black and white image is of the Portland Maine Customs House. Design - This camera is designed to be similar to the old film SLR cameras of the past and I'll say, I have been missing my Pentax k-1000 and this camera looks and even feels a bit like shooting with that again which was fun. Above all, photography needs to be fun, and using this camera has definitely been exactly that. I read a review somewhere that said this camera simply has soul, and that reviewer is right! Manual adjustment knobs are all great to have and with the small size of the camera and the precise adjustments available on modern cameras, they have found a way to combine the full stop adjustments on the physical dedicated shutter speed knob and then add the thumb dial to fine tune your exposures. The articulating screen is a great addition. It doesn't fully articulate like some other screens I've used and it leaves a little to be desired when shooting verticals but I know they solved that with the x-t2 and they simply had to loose that feature in the interest of size. No weather sealing is another compromise to keep cost/size down and I'm fine with it. It still has a solid construction. Also, many xf lenses are in fact weather sealed still, and usually my lenses are what I worry about with dust and moisture. battery life is short but the camera comes in the box with two batteries which is generous of Fujifilm and having two batteries has left me with plenty of power for a day of shooting, the key is to turn the camera off between photos, and this is made possibly by my next point. The on switch wraps around the shutter making it easy to access and it has become reflex for me to now turn on, compose, focus, shoot, and turn off all in one smooth process. The reason I can do this is because there is practically zero lag in the startup. I believe Fujifilm claims a .4 sec startup to be exact but it fast enough that I don't notice any startup time. In fact, it feels like it turns on faster than it wakes up if its asleep, so for me it's actually better to turn it off between subjects. If you turn off often, you will have no power issues. The touch screen is a nice addition, and all the touch-to-focus and touch-to-shoot are fast, accurate, and effective. This is the first electronic view finder (EVF) that I've used and I'm immediately sold on the concept. I always liked my mirrors and optical view finder (OVF) and mirrors to look directly through the lens (TTL), but this is a great alternate solution for shooting on bright sunny days. I'd have to say my favorite thing about the construction of the camera body is that there is a long list of buttons on the body that can be customized to specific features that suit you best. The list of customizable options and buttons was longer than I expected and it will take me quite a while to fine tune all these options but long term, the camera will be so well suited to me, it'll be hard to shoot any other camera body. There is a custom menu option as well where you can keep a short list - favorites if you will - of most used menu settings and keep them all in one place which immediately becomes your default menu screen when you press the menu button. I can't believe I'm actually saying this but, the pop-up flash is a nice addition. This is a travel and every-day camera for me so there will be some situations where I need to capture a memory and an on-body pop-up flash will be a fair sacrifice in light quality to ensure that the photo doesn't get missed altogether. Size is perfect to me. I know that some think it's too small but this camera is specifically designed to be travel worthy so I find the size just right. The rubber grips actually proved a decent grip as well. Holding this camera will not be super easy for those with big hands, but then again, if you want a big camera, then this camera wasn't designed for you. This camera is designed to be travel size and still a powerful camera and it is both of those things. Conclusion: This will not be replacing my full-frame DSLR but it will be going everywhere with me and in some cases it just might even be my secondary camera for some work gigs. It's making my day-to-day photography more fun and because of that, I bring it more places, which in turn is allowing more photography opportunities. I have been a fan of Nikon since I bought my first FM-1 in 1982. I have a box of Nikon digital cameras and none of them makes me feel like I did when I was shooting with the one of my FM's. I have to say this is the first camera I have purchased in over 15 years that has me excited about taking photos again. I used it for a three week garden tour in England. I am very pleased with the cameras performance and I found the owners manual very helpful when trying out different setting in different lighting conditions. I haven't purchased that lens yet but I know what I will be asking for when my birthday rolls around! When I read the reviews I wasn't too worried about comments about the size because I wanted a smaller camera. Having said that I could see the body being about 110% of it's current size. The size of the buttons, screen etc. are all fine they just need a bit more room. I will also say that someone should design a little stick-on nub that could go on the body next to the wheel on the right hand side of the camera as I, like many others have mentioned, inadvertently pressed this button about a 100 times. Depressing the shutter release button half way functions as a back button so it wasn't a disaster but it is annoying especially when trying to capture impromptu shots. When I first started using the camera I also pressed the delete button several times and ended up trashing some images. I somehow managed to avoid pressing that button by accident after the first few days but I think it could also use a little raised surface around it to make pressing that button more intentional. After all deleting images is something that should take a bit of conscience effort!

Great camera body.

Okay so this is actually my third xt20 body.They are great camera bodies. Just take note they are small so if you have big hands you may want to buy a light weight grip to go with it.The first two I purchased right after came out actually had dead pixels in the sensors and were returned for exchange. Never had any issues with the exchanged ones, they were later production revs.This one is great with zero issues so far.The 15-45mm lens simply came with the camera kit (which was on special). It is also a major battery power hog.So in conclusion the xt20 body = great.The xc 15-45mm lens = okay.The kit on sale with the promotion = great (while it costs less than the body by itself).The kit when it no longer on sale with the promotion and costs more than the body alone = would not buy.If you are starting out and you want a camera kit, Fuji has better kits with better lenses.If you are not starting out and already own Fuji lenses and just want a small light weight body buy the body by itself - unless of course the sale and promotion is still on, then of course less $ = less $and you can throw the lens away, ebay it or just add it your shelf of camera stuff for display, you know with all that old equipment you will never use but keep anyway.

I've never missed more shots with any other camera than with this one - that accidentally changing the settings thing again. The shutter release lacks precision. The lens has a lot of distortion. The remote app is a joke - it's actually awful.In a way I'm being unfair, comparing it to my 5D, FF vs APC, except that while doing my research for this purchase so many said it replaced 5D's, big Nikons, etc. , hence my comparison here. The picture quality is good, once the settings behave and stay where intended, and then it is fun to shoot with. I like being able to change ISO by pushing a customized button without taking my eye out of the viewfinder - wish the Canon had that feature. When I came home I called B&H and got an RA to return the X-T20. B&H was excellent as usual and did so without fuss. However, I decided to keep it just because I wanted another spare body. My reward for keeping it? Two nights ago, I missed another important shot - again because of the settings changing on me. I will use this camera as a spare body, occasionally take it out to walk with, but my Canon will continue to be my pro and go-to camera. Unfortunately, the Fuji is the best camera in this class and price range. I intend to replace it as soon as someone comes up with something better.

It vintage and film camera look makes it less intrusive which gives you the ability to catch some really spectacular moments. I love Fuji and you should definitely get this camera.

Still getting used to it, but definitely worth the price

I had purchased a refurbished Canon DSLR for ~$ several years ago but it was just too bulky and heavy to carry around, and I quickly lost interest in photography. I had a vacation trip coming up and I wanted to capture the moments with a better camera than my cell phone. A friend of mine who is studying photography highly recommended this model and Sony A6300. They were a bit out of my initial price range, but after comparing the sample images of cameras at both price points, I was convinced that this camera would be worth spending $1k on IF I continue to use it. I chose Fuji over Sony for the film simulation function (which I love). Capturing night scenes or moving objects with this camera were a bit tricky for me (thus -0.5 star but it only lets me take off a whole star), but it could be because I didn't know how to properly set up the camera for those types of situations. The Bluetooth function is great! Transferring photos and videos is easy, and the fact that you can take photos on the camera with your cell phone as a remote control is awesome, as it doesn't move the camera when I press the shutter. I'm not much of a video filming person, so 10 minutes on 4K and 15 minutes on Full HD quality were more than sufficient for me, and the video quality is amazing on both. I'm still learning a lot about the camera by watching YouTube videos and playing around with the camera. Hopefully, I'll get the hang of it soon and be able to capture more amazing moments in my life with this beauty.
