Fujifilm Instax Mini 7S Instant Film Camera, White

I gifted this instax mini to my eldest daughter last Christmas. She loves it. She's into photography lately and loves to take photos with her friends. We also used this camera for family photos. We love how we can keep the photos as remembrance. Battery life was great so far we didn't change the batteries yet. The film cost is kinda pricey but the quality is great. It's not flimsy. We hot the bundle so it includes the bag and album with few stickers on it that my daughter used to design and style the photos once it comes out.

I love this camera! Also, shipping was RIDICULOUSLY fast!!! It literally took two days to get to me. I ordered from Amazon with free shipping on a Monday afternoon and it arrived that Wednesday morning. The camera is SO easy to use. It is the least complicated cameras I have ever owned. Of all of them this is the most straightforward. The picture quality is about the same as I remember old-school polaroids being. I'm thrilled with it. It's a fun camera to play around with, I like making scrap-book style photo journals and these little polaroids are perfect for it. They are also super fun to use as gift-cards and for handwritten notes (with a sharpie). Very fun, playful camera.

A small mirror is situated next to the lens to aid in selfie framing. The top left corner houses the optical viewfinder, the flash and the shutter button with optional interchangeable rubber buttons. There are strap mounting points on each side, along with the AA battery compartment, while a slot on the top ejects the exposed instant prints. I gave these cameras to my daughters for bday/Christmas gifts a bunch of years ago and they are still in great condition and produce get instant photos. They have created photo decorations for their room… photos of them with friends etc etc…. Very cute! Easy to use and photo drying time is pretty quick as well. The camera is lightweight but definitely not anything you can slip into a pocket or small purse. They have great bags that fit them tho! Refill Film isn’t cheap but you can always find specials and deals on line with many different designs and borders. Camera comes in many colors and even fun characters like Minions! Would definitely recommend buying for you tween, teen! Great gift!

This is perhaps the most non-traditional camera I’ve ever reviewed, but I can honestly tell you that I’ve never had this much fun reviewing a camera, ever. As a girl that tests cameras out for serious use, this was a great and welcome change of pace. There is very little space in between the grip and the lens—which tells me that this camera was designed for users with smaller hands. Pulling the lens out conveniently doubles functions as a power-on trigger, and retracting it turns it off.

One thing to note, even though this camera is referred to as a "mini" it's not as small as you might think. It's very lightweight and portable, but about the size of a small dslr, slimmer of course because it doesn't have the big lens and it's not as heavy/bulky. I usually carry around a medium-size handbag when I'm not at work and this fits into it quite well!

She took it on her trip to the museum and loves looking at her photos. She also used her photos for projects at school! Lots of ideas that are all creative. I love that it has the batteries with it. Assembly is easy but you're going to have to read the instructions. The first picture I took was not a picture and I shook the heck out of it thinking a picture was going to come up. It was the cover or something for the film. The next picture I took came out great. The flash is crazy bright for the home setting. I haven't tried an outside picture yet. This is the Fujifilm instax mini 7 and it costs around $70. This is a simple camera to use, there is something satisfying about having an actual photo printed out in front of you. I like taking cute snaps to put on the fridge or collage together. This camera does come in different colors. The downside is the film is a little expensive. Comes close to almost $1 a print and it goes so quickly. So handing this to a kid could get expensive quickly. I’ve never had any issues with the prints or any malfunctions. The prints are very small, fits in the palm of your hand. This is not the prints from the Polaroids of the 90s or before

One of my mini fun "toy" cameras is the Fujifilm Instax Mini. I love taking it with me when I'm shooting professional sessions because it leaves the client with a mini souvenir like no other. And there is just something gratifying about having an image in your hands seconds after pressing the shutter no matter where you are or who/what you are shooting. Instax film offers so many different options these days it's almost impossible to choose just how much fun to have. And the battery life is quite good as well. Pro-tip - get a cute camera strap in lieu of the one it comes with. It puts a smile on everyone's face!
