I bought this at the same times at the instax link wide smartphone printer. I love the black as it makes the photo pop more. It's a great product and the photos print really clear on them. They look great on the wall and fridge

I swear the images look better than with the white border. Really wish it wasn?t 2x the cost.
As mentioned before, there is nothing special about this. It's just a black frame with the best polaroid film. Fujifilm's quality surpasses Kodak's polaroid to me. Fujifilm's colors tend to be richer and posses more dynamic range within the photo. That's of course if you expose proper. I shoot on a Fujifilm Wide Instax 500AF regularly.
