Fujifilm X-T20 Mirrorless Digital Camera (Body Only, Black)

Bough mine a year ago and totally worth the investment. I’m a part time freelance videographer and the vídeo quality is perfect! I would love to invest in a X-T3 or T4 but since I’m not currently working that often with video só o decided to go for this one and I don’t regret at all! Amazing quality, it’s small and light weight, easy to carry every wear (love to take in when I go on vacation to take photos and can’t tell you enough how much I love everything about it. I’ve been a Canon DSLR user since ever and at first it was a bit hard to switch to Fujifilm mirrorless system but I got used to it and I don’t see myself going back to a DSLR again.

I would recommend this camera to beginner and pro still-shooters alike. If you are a film fan and want to feel as enthusiastic about your digital camera, the X-T20 will capture that magic. If you're tired of lugging around a DSLR and its bigger lenses, consider the image quality of this sensor (and Fuji's incredible line of glass). Even if you are none of these things, give this camera a closer look.

My friend owns the camera and I had the chance to borrow it from him for a day and I really enjoyed the experience! If you're looking for an all-arounder that can handle the full gamut of photography styles and video work, this camera has you covered. It's the best enthusiast-level hybrid camera we've tested. With a full-frame sensor, you have plenty of leeway to crop and edit your photos, and image quality is generally fantastic. Planning to purchase one soon.

Excellent Performance and Value

The X-T20 is my third Fuji X camera, the other two being the X-M1 and X-E2. The image quality is a noticeable improvement from the earlier 16-megapixel models--the main reason why I wanted to upgrade--and overall it's a more refined and polished product with better autofocus and a deeper buffer. Even the body covering is a more grippable rubber compared to the slicker grained plastic covering used on my older models. The tilt screen is very useful and the main reason I picked the X-T20 instead of the X-E3. Once you start using a tilt-screen, you quickly realize how useful that feature is in so many situations. I also wasn't sure I'd like the touchscreen D-pad of the X-E3 as a substitute for an actual, physical D-pad, another reason why I chose the X-T20. The camera, despite the EVF/flash hump, is smaller than I thought it which is nice but handling definitely benefits from the addition of the optional Fuji MGH-TX10 grip (and I don't have large hands, either). The real estate on the right-rear of the camera is limited due to the compact size and it's easy to accidentally hit one of the buttons, which the optional handgrip helps mitigate. Fuji would do well to simply increase the size of the grip in a successor model unless their objective is to sell you an overpriced handgrip. Battery performance is OK, not great but not awful either. Overall, the camera was a worthy upgrade and an excellent value. I'm still not going to sell my full-frame Nikon but the Fuji X-T20 is a wonderful substitute when I want to travel light and discreetly.

Great Walk-About Camera

So far I’m very satisfied with my X-T20. I decided that I needed a small, lightweight, interchangeable lens camera for family & social events and walk-around travel/hiking activities. For example, I didn’t need a big heavy Canon DSLR with an L lens to take snapshots at my granddaughter’s birthday party. For me, a major reason for purchasing the X-T20 was the quality of the 18-55mm kit lens that comes with it and the quality of Fujifilm lenses in general. Although the 18-55mm does not match the IQ of my Canon L zoom lenses, it never-the-less is an outstanding lens. If my satisfaction with the X-T20 continues, I plan on purchasing the 23mm f/1.4. But, once you identify aperture, shutter speed and ISO functions, the camera is rather easy to operate and is highly customizable…my only complaints are lack of functions assignable to the front control dial and the lack of feel of the Fn button. Finally, the X-t20 is a small camera; consequently, if you have large hands (like me) you may have some problems operating the buttons & controls. For example, often times the palm of my hand would inadvertently hit the right button on the selector dial. The grip on the front is very small and the thumb ledge on the back is almost as bad. To address this problem, I did a bit of research and decided to purchase a Fotasy hand grip. The Fotasy grip fits the X-T20 perfectly, can be used vertically and only adds about 3 oz. in weight. The Fotasy grip was the perfect solution for me.

Great camera with tons of features

I bought this with the 27mm Fuji pancake lens to have a small alternative to my trusty D7100. I love my D7100 and f1.8 glass, but it can get huge. This XT20, with lens, is smaller than the body of the D7100 without a lens on it! A little tricky to hold sometimes, but that is to expected.Pros: fabulous image quality. Great JPGs and with the right settings you can go out and just shoot for fun without really thinking too much about hours of RAW processing later. Small size for such quality is excellent. Great build, fit and finish. A billion settings and fully customizable buttons, almost to the point of being confusing, but the flexibility is appreciated at the end of the day. If you tilt screen up and try to use touchscreen, chances are your finger will activate EVF due to eye sensor (though, it can be turned off). Everything is so compact, it takes a bit of time to transition from a full size DSLR... I still occasionally hit buttons on accident. Battery life is not great, though to be fair, maybe all mirrorless are like this. Fuji batteries are extremely expensive, but you will 100% need an extra one.Overall: Great choice for first mirrorless companion to full size DSLR kit.

When I heard about the Fuji X-T2 I was looking seriously at getting it, but didn't want to spend quite that much money, and while I was looking Fuji announced the X-T20 which has the same quality, but you just lose a few extra features, that I decided I didn't need for the difference in price. I pre-ordered it from Adorama and as promised it was at my door the day after it was released by Fuji and I have been nothing but thrilled with the clarity, sharpness and low noise at higher ISOs that I've been getting. I have been using a Canon 6D full frame for the past few years and have been totally pleased with it also, but with this new X-T20, I'm afraid the Canon is going to be getting a lot of rest. I've done numerous (very unscientific) comparison tests with the two cameras and various lenses side by side and the X-T20 performance has been stellar. The noise at high ISO does not quite measure up to the full frame sensor, but it comes so darn close that I cannot complain. I found the 18-55 zoom lens to be incredibly sharp. The OIS seems to work better than I could hope for. I've added the 55-200 zoom also now and am equally impressed so far.Now for the few cons:1. Because of the size of the camera I find that I am often unintentionally pressing against the joystick controls on the back and moving the focus point and then I have to go move it back again.2. The front control dial is basically worthless with either of the lenses that I have and there doesn't seem to be a way to customize it hardly at all.3. You can't leave a quick release tripod mount on the bottom because you have to remove it if you want to change the battery or access the SD card.This is a wonderful little camera and a joy to use. I'm so glad that I bought it and expect to get a lot of great use out of it.

Still getting used to it, but definitely worth the price

It was smaller than most of the DSLRs, less heavy, but still had the benefits of interchanging lenses, which I hope to venture into someday, and produced great quality images. I chose Fuji over Sony for the film simulation function (which I love). Capturing night scenes or moving objects with this camera were a bit tricky for me (thus -0.5 star but it only lets me take off a whole star), but it could be because I didn't know how to properly set up the camera for those types of situations. The Bluetooth function is great! Transferring photos and videos is easy, and the fact that you can take photos on the camera with your cell phone as a remote control is awesome, as it doesn't move the camera when I press the shutter. I'm not much of a video filming person, so 10 minutes on 4K and 15 minutes on Full HD quality were more than sufficient for me, and the video quality is amazing on both. I'm still learning a lot about the camera by watching YouTube videos and playing around with the camera. Hopefully, I'll get the hang of it soon and be able to capture more amazing moments in my life with this beauty.

I love this camera.To give a bit of background I went Sony A6000.The built quality is very good feels better than the Sony. There is a physical switch for everything you usually need: aperture, shutter speed, static vs continuous vs manual focus, on/off stabilisation, exposure compensation, program options.- The film simulations are quite good, especially compared to the corresponding Sony gimmicky options.- The menu system is better organised, although I don't consider that as important, since you get used to the Sony one and remember where the options are (the Sony menu will initially frustrate users coming from other systems though).- The camera itself is an object of desire. I really recommend getting this lens with the camera.The lens line up is very impressive in terms of price and quality. It's a cheaper system than the Sony but with much higher usability and quality. What else could you want?

Tiny pony with great horse power

I have X-Pro2, and this is my backup camera. The image quality is identical to X-Pro2, only the white balance is a little a bit saturated compare to X-Pro2. Overall the camera setting and functionality is top notch. Very fast responding time, fast refreshing rate of screens, almost no delay on shutter actions and it has 4K video. The goods : 1) 4k, 24mp in a tiny body. 2) same image quality as X-Pro2, also with film emulations including Acros B&W. 3) It's newer processor than X-Pro2, so the screen is less laggy, faster on responds. Almost the same autofocus speed. 4) It has a built in tiny flash compare to other PRO level cameras. 5) a lot smaller and a lot lighter than X-Pro2. There are a few gotcha parts though : 1) the eyecup is not interchangeable and original eyecup design is not user friendly for with glasses or without. As long as you are facing the sun around 45 degrees, you won't be able to see the back screen nor viewfinder screen. 2) If you are manual focus guy, you will not get split screen like X-Pro2, and you have to hunt down the manual to get "shoot without lens" option.
