This camera is absolutely phenomenal - small, light, and powerful. It's my first Fujifilm, coming from Canon EOS DSLRs, and I'm so impressed and amazed. The film simulation modes are wonderful (I know there are better ones on the high end Fujifilm, but this is still great and it's a very inexpensive camera). It performs superbly, and I'm going to be sticking with Fujifilm for a long time yet!The photo attached was taken with the 50-230mm lens, zoomed all the way to 230mm and f/6.7. It may get compressed on here, but it looks excellent - sharp, clear, good colour processing, etc.

I took a bit of time researching what camera to buy. I'm an amateur and was looking for something that will be a great body for growing and capturing shots for the many years ahead. I enjoy capturing landscapes, nature and wildlife such as birds etc.My research into what camera to buy, eventually concluded with the xt200 (bundled with the 50-230mm lens), as it seemed to offer unbeatable value and future compatibility with fuji's x-mount lenses.I will condense all my favourite features so that might help someone thinking of upgrading or getting into photography:Camera body: 3.5" LCD touch screen - is super sharp and responsive, I also love that it opens and closes around 180 degrees and rotates around so you can see the screen in almost all ... MoreI took a bit of time researching what camera to buy. Also, it's great that a few of the buttons are customisable. Interchanging between lenses is pretty slick.Shooting modes - there are a lot of preset shooting modes to utilise in certain situations for the not so experienced photographer, I especially like the light trail feature and the Fujifilm filter range, which is a really nice touch and reconnects the old analogue past to the present technology. The mechanical shutter is nice and slick, great range of speeds and focal ranges so you can capture in almost all light levels, it's great also to have a digital shutter for the situations when higher shutter speeds are needed.Kit lenses:15-45mm is nice, it offers a good option for landscapes and portraits, although not the sharpest and I will look to upgrade this lens.50-230mm is really lightweight and offers a great level of sharpness, really impressive for a "budget" lens - definitely one worth including in your arsenal of lenses.

I love that its black. The ones released in USA n Canada are silver n dark silver. Black color was a later release. Photos are equal contrast with or without flash. I have to open flash with my Panasonic to increase contrast. JPEG files are big. I have to reduce them when putting on InDesign or else, the program is buggy. Highly recommended. Photos are good.

Mixed bag - but nothing horribly bad. I will be comparing to my X-E2S for comparison. Both the X-E2S and the XT-200 are tack sharp, though one is a 16 mp, and the other a 124 mp. Color is great in both cameras, so there is no discernible difference between the sensors. Where the X-T200 excels is auto-focus. Much, much better. Getting eye focus is easy. The hand grip is superior, so no need to get aftermarket parts to find something to hang onto. Back screen is very sharp and bright.Things I don't like: the placement of review pic button. It's on the upper left now, which means your finger will cross the eye sensor, and throw everything off. Also I miss my +/- 3 dial. Build quality is suspect. Video was not tested. This a great beginner camera, but if you have any experience at all with cameras, you'll want something not so quite dumbed down. This camera works for me because I'm getting old, and just don't wanna bother with all the settings. Still in my testing phase, so I'm sure much will change.
I got this camera to do photography, tutorial videos, and live-streaming. It's incredible for photos and and good for videos but the webcam mode is TERRIBLE.It doesn't matter what settings you choose, the moment the camera plugs into the computer, its throws all Autofocus preset out the window and the autofocus on the camera decides to go absolutely berserk. The slightest on camera movement causes AF to lose it. After 3-5 seconds of spazzing from the background to the foreground, it'll grab on again. and this is for slight slight moments with plenty of lighting. I've spent hours on the phone with fuji help and they recommend me just reaching out to adorama to return it. unfortunately I'm just past the month window. If you're looking for a "do everything" little ... MoreI got this camera to do photography, tutorial videos, and live-streaming. Not expecting a fix there.
I love this camera! As someone new to mirrorless cameras with very little experience using manual mode, I really appreciate the presets available for both portrait and landscape. This has allowed me to jump right in and learn as I go. The extendable screen for self portraits is fantastic, too! Overall, the camera is a great size and weight, and it is comfortable to hold. The price is also very affordable for a camera with so many options and such great image quality! I highly recommend this camera if you're looking for an affordable option that allows you to grab and go as you are learning.
Finally the old world of film photography and the modern digital image merge into the light. My black and white photograph is proof. Most digital cameras would really struggle with dark shadows and bright light but not with the Fujifilm X-T200. Mine is set for black and white in P (program mode) which is point and shoot auto shutter and aperture and SP (Scene position). I leave the Adv. point on dial for Clarity in Colour. That vari-angle screen is a dream. Over a fence or wall is no problem. The small built-in flash is really useful up to 3m (Canon Speedlite not work with this camera). Love the way the flash lever looks like a film wind-on. Indeed with the screen twisted/hidden on back it really does look and feel like an old camera (Leica style). Most important of all even with lens on and lens cap it fits into my jacket pocket. With digital gimbal set you really would think your movie camera is on a tripod when panning handheld. Yes, it makes 4K movies as well but as yet untried. Made movie of a photography trip called Walking Pictures. The wide-angle lens is perfect for me. It has a solid feel of quality at 511g in pocket. Ready to roll.
Preface: Both my wife and I have really good camera phones... iPhone 11 Pros. We take a ton of pictures of our 2.5yr old son, day trips, weekend trips to the beach, Having camera phones was convenient for a quick snap. We’ve accumulated over 10,000 photos in the last 2.5 years. However, when you take that many pictures, just a camera phone won’t do. I researched for months before purchasing this camera, and thankful the research payed off! This camera is amazing, so quick to set up, pop the lens cap off and start shooting. A complete amateur can use this for an hour and take photos that have the depth, features and quality almost reminiscent of a fully professional photographer. A complete amateur can use this for an hour and take photos that have the depth, features and quality almost reminiscent of a fully professional photographer. With some more time behind the viewfinder, I envision that the differences between your pictures and a professional’s would be nearly gone. The one drawback: lenses... the cost of the x-mount lenses is higher than for some of the other mirrorless cameras available. Thanks for a great camera!
Good Points: Image quality. I can attach any third-party lens if I use an adapter. The touch swivel screen. The size and weight of the camera. The viewfinder. Customizable bottoms. Video, including slow motion.Improvement Points: Lack of some direct controls. The feeling of the zoom with assisted motion. Goes to zoom when you turn the camera on. Confusing menus and settings. Not weather sealed.
Good Points: Excellent camera I've been using to learn photography. Images are crisp and I like using the dials to switch between aperture/shutter speed settings. The body+lens is very lightweight and retains a good build 'feel'. Haven't had the chance to take it travelling with me, but I can see this replacing my phone for a lot photos. I also like that it can be used as a webcam for online meetings.Improvement Points: The menu can be fiddly at times when changing some settings (ISO, WB, AF) between shots. The kit lens is fine for most beginners, but definitely worth upgrading when you have the chance.
