Bought one of these a couple years ago and it’s been an absolute riot to use. I have a Sony a7iv for my professional work but bought a Fuji to use for fun. It’s small, lightweight, not having to worry about changing lenses is kind of refreshing, and the film sims are fun to use as well. Kind of feels like I’m going back to the basics with photography again and just using it to capture the moment. Overall I couldn’t recommend it enough

The Fujifilm X-T100 is a great entry-level camera. Its stylish design and lightweight body make it easy to carry, while the 24.2 MP APS-C sensor delivers excellent image quality. The articulating touchscreen is useful for selfies and vlogging, and the intuitive interface is beginner-friendly. With 4K video capabilities and decent battery life, it’s a solid choice for those looking to explore photography.

The Fujifilm X-T100 is a versatile mirrorless camera that offers good image quality and a user-friendly interface. Its retro design is charming, and the tilting touchscreen is handy for composing shots. However, its autofocus system and video capabilities might not be as advanced as some other models in its class. Overall, it's a solid option for those looking for a capable entry-level mirrorless camera with a classic design.

Been carrying around the Fujifilm X100T all over Brooklyn and Manhattan this past weekend, since getting the pre-owned version from ebay. Opted for the X100T over the X100F mostly because I got a set for $650 including the WCL 100 wide angle converter, several spare batteries, and also a few hoods and case. This came out to be much less expensive than the X100F, plus, the 16MP and non-touchscreen LCD works well for me, as I'm mostly an OVF user. Didn't need the 24MP (X100F), as I mostly deal with digital and prints that are less than 24" 24". So, overall, this works as an everyday camera. Three other professional photographer friends tested the camera with me today, and they were amused by the tiny 440gram rangefinder. I like the camera even more now that I have a) figured out all the 7 customized Q, b) found out that by using the small little swipe dial next to the flash in front of the camera allowed me to quickly view the EVF within the OVF, and c) the ease of use, lightness, and how discreet the camera is when shooting around New York. I had become fascinated with the Fuji brand when I first purchased an X-A1 interchangeable lens camera which I must say was very basic. What drew me to the X100T, was firstly the design. It has the look of a vintage camera, but not compromising on performance either. The lens is fixed, which means more effore will have to go into get closer to your subject, but it ain't a bad thing either considering many events don't allow certain cameras. Getting used to the separate shutter dial and aperture ring is a challenge at first, but is something that will be appreciated also. One of my favourite features, is the built in neutral density filter which is good for bright conditions especially if you wanted to use a slower shutter speed or lower depth of field. Also the electronic shutter offers 1/32000 shutter speed, which may not be something you will use a lot, but is something worth showing off in a conversation. All in all I would recommend the X100T, or if you can afford the X100F that would be a worthy purchase also. This camera is not for everyone as you cannot change the lens, but would be best suited to the travelling street photographer who doesn't want to carry a DSLR and camera gear.

Excellent travel camera
6 September 2016

This camera was a perfect addition to my travel bag. I recently traveled internationally, so I charged via USB, which was great to have as an option. It was a breeze to carry around and the battery last much longer than I was expecting (based on reviews). I liked the (effective) 35mm fixed lens and there were only a few times I wished I had a wider lens. The images were outstanding and bring forward so much detail. The details is so great that Lightroom really "chugs" as it processes the raw files (note: while the in-camera film simulation modes are great, Lightroom/Adobe Camera Raw offers them now so I'm staying with raw to have flexibility of color and b&w).Minor complaints - when using autoISO, the minimum shutter speed requires attention as it seems to set ... MoreThis camera was a perfect addition to my travel bag. I tolerate noise of motion blur, and the camera offers options to tweak the autoISO setting so I expect to get this issue worked out. The second minor issue is that the LCD screen will show you a picture that looks overexposured if you review the picture (chimping). I learned to trust the camera and know that it will be alright once it is processed it. I determined it was just the auto light adjustment making the photo looked washed out. Beyond those minor issues, it's a pleasure to shoot with.As for the microphone that came with the package, it's sitting on my shelf in the box waiting for me to throw it away. I really wish we could pick a sensible package based on our needs, but that is an Adorama "issue" and not anything to do with the camera.Overall, I'm one of the many pleased x100t owners and highly recommend this if you are comfortable with exposure and like to tinker with settings.

Great camera for street photography

I have had this camera a week but today was the first day that I have had a chance to test it. Impressed is an understatement. Ok there are a few quibbles but at the price I think the camera stands out above the competition. It's a very retro looking camera and one guy I met today thought it was a film camera. Great by me as I like the retro look and I have the silver and black version which accentuates this. The camera feels good to hold and I can't see the point in adding a thumbs up which I have on my Leica M9-P to give more stability. The camera is good and steady and I like the fact that I can shoot in silent mode, something which again is missing on my Leicas. The camera is good and steady and I like the fact that I can shoot in silent mode, something which again is missing on my Leicas. Though the shutter is quite quiet on them in any case.I found the menu easy to follow but my Leica wins here with a more minimalist approach. I am currently having trouble getting the on camera flash to be set to on and the minimalist paper instructions do not assist here. One quibble there and I will go to the CD instructions to see if I can find a resolution there. Notwithstanding the menu is far simpler to use then the menus on either the Canon or Nikon SLRs I have used and its miles better than the Olympus OMD-EM5 for which you need a degree to get familiar with.My other likes are the aperture ring on the lens mount and he 1/3rd clicks between stops. The speed dial goes up to 1/4000th of a second again something which is unheard of in such a camera (the Panasonic Lumix 100 does go higher) and to be frank I am not sure if I would ever use that speed but it's there.I have never had either of the earlier X100's previous incarnations but I do see that this has a better and larger rear screen I am really impressed. The film modes is something that suits me down to the ground. They emulate films from Fuji and they seem spot on.I managed to get the free leather camera case too and also that's the best I have used. I thought I would be reselling it but fits snug, does the job and it's a nice looking thing. All in all a great camera!

Ive fallen in love with this camera
22 December 2018

Firstly it handles the light beautifully! Far exceeds what my 6 year old DSLR can produce. Ive found the manual setting really easy to adjust quickly, even flicking in and out of menus. Until now but the weight of my DSLR means that I dont make it out as often as Id like and regularly just snap on my mobile phone. The Fuji is that much lighter and more compact that Im finding myself taking it out when I wouldnt have done with my DSLR; I can comfortably carry this around for a whole day without feeling like I have to cut down whatever else I have in my bag. I wondered if I would feel restricted by the fixed lens but if anything its pushed me to think more carefully about the position I shoot from. The occasions Ive wished I had a interchangeable or zoom lens have been outweighed by the practicality if the weight/size. The options with the view finder are helpful for accuracy framing close ups. The shutter is so quiet its easy to miss, so combined with the screen its perfect for unobtrusive street photography. The film simulation and built in filters are helpful and great fun, and when you shoot in raw you still get the option of the original image without any cropping/styling. Its fairly user friendly and you can set button functions to suit your preference. Glad it camewith a second battery as its needed if you are going to be shooting for a whole day, particularly if you are using the screen a lot. Overall - super happy with this camera. Worth every penny!

This is early days for me and the X100T. I still reach for my Panasonic LX7 to take photos indoors. The thing about the X100T is that it can take very good photos but you need to learn a bit about it before you get there. It has a large sensor, which means that there can be less depth of field. This can produce very good effects. I has a fixed lens so you need to be in the middle of the action or take landscapes. It is beautifully made so that you can forget all the electronics for a moment and imagine that you have a traditional camera. Should you buy one? It is a lot of money so you will need to love it a bit to justify the cost - but if you can afford it go for it. I would take it to town but it is not as light as some cameras for travelling and I probably wouldn't risk it on the beach. I have added some photos. The first three are taken with the 100xT.

Strong stills camera

Used for a few days and have mostly positive impressions. Pros: best colors of any digital camera I've used. As good or better than Canon in terms of color science. Images have a special quality to them. Also has film emulations that are a decent approximation of the real ones Small and easy to use as a walk-around camera Easy to use but also plenty of settings for image control for experienced photographers Amazing hybrid optical/electronic viewfinder Cons: No zoom or other focal lengths (This is the obvious, big downside despite having a great, fast, wide angle lens) Video isn't great (again, this is no surprise and why I own or have owned Canon, Sony, and Panasonic while holding off on this camera until now). This is a camera for still photography enthusiasts primarily. Focus tracking isn't great (also not a surprise and I haven't had long enough to fully test). Not going to replace a dslr for sport photography but not really what it's for. Again, just impressions after a few days but definitely not an extensive review. This is a powerful little camera and may be perfect for most users. The strengths are really apparent but it's few shortcomings may make it too limiting for other particular users
