I looked around for a recommended split system for a room in my house. It seems that there were two recommended as very good. First of all, I would like to sincerely thank this lady salesperson by the name of Vandana D at the Nunawading GoodGuys for her kindness and friendly attitude. Secondly, the quiet performance and powerful operation of this AC machine is excellent for its size and capacity. The price tag for such a remarkable small sized and powerful AC is top of the range. The installation was also carried out in a very neat and nice way by the GoodGuys contractor.

I really like this air-con system, and am satisfied with its performance. It is a very versatile machine with truly economical price tag. The only thing that really disappointed me is that contrary to the vertical louver position (Up/Down airflow direction) that can be set both automatically and manually using the remote control, the horizontal louver position (Left/Right airflow direction) has to be set manually and through adjusting two knobs by hand!!Overall, I do recommend this air-con system as it is a very powerful machine with remarkable performance.

I've had the Fujitsu 3.5kw through winter and summer, so have had the opportunity to try out both heating and cooling functions. I installed the unit in my bedroom (approx 30m2). It does cool and heat the room fairly well, although a little less than I expected. It is quiet enough on low fan settings. The fan doesn't work as well as my oscilating fan. The downfall is in the cooling function; unfortunately it doesn't cool any lower than 18 degrees which does actually make a difference if you like to be an iceblock in bed like me.
The unit purchased works very well. Its quite and heats the room quickly. The only reason I didnt give it a 5 star rating is its remote could be more user friendly. The temperature control buttons are conveniently located on the face of the remote. However the fan speed are located under the drop down panel. It would be advantageous if the remote also had a sensor light to highlight its screen. I would still highly recommend and would purchase again.
I've had this Fujitsu AC unit for about 12 months over both summer and winter. It's currently installed in my bedroom which is about 16m2. The cooling will not go lower than 18 degrees - and takes a fair while to fully cool the room down. The heating isn't very powerful either and again takes a while. The outdoor unit is pretty loud! It's installed on my roof and I can hear it from inside the apartment!In hindsight I would've spent a bit more money for a more efficient, quieter unit. But it will do well enough for my use.
This unit is quality. You can see it in the build and hear it in the operation. Please note this smaller unit lacks the left to right louvre auto feature on the larger. I was also a little surprised it doesnt have horizontal louvres but rather a single motorised louvre. But happy customer. Recommended. Thinking Im lucky to get one as retailers are trying to offload less known brands such as Haier. Theres all made in China anyway but Japanese brands and air con have always been a pretty safe bet. Make sure youre clear your unit offers both heating and cooling. Easy trip up for newbies who might think there saving a few bucks only to find out the unit theyve purchased is not reverse cycle. Last word. Daikin. Fujitsu. Mitsubishi. In that order. Good luck!

I got home and the installation company rang me and said it would be two and a half weeks. Then when they turned up they said i had to pay another three hundred dollars to get them installed. I needed the conditioning so begrudgingly paid. The installation company was supposed to take away the old units, and packaging, but told me they had no room in their van. I forced them to take away the old stuff, but they still left all the packaging of the new stuff. They didn't clean up anything after the installation in the house. i won't be buying from the Goodguys again, even though I have bought a fridge and an oven from them in the last few years without ... Morethe air conditioners are fine, but I paid for installation, and was told they would be installed within a week. The size of the unit both inside and out. Its much smaller than my previous unit. The outside unit allows me more room to drive in to my carport. The remote is very easy to use. The writing is big enough to read. (I was quoted $15,000 thousand dollars for a replacement and to take away the broken unit. The Good Guys charged me $2,300 dollars. Why would I be unhappy
The $89 prepaid for a Quote was a big mistake - all it did for us all was instead of the $699 back to back install - the quote was for $1740. - nearly 300% just to place the aircond on a roof about qn extra metre away frombthe 3 metres included in the $699) with a polyurethane base($490 materials only and its their recommendation when we wanted it on tthe garage roof 3.5 metres below) . So we didnt ho ahead with the Quote and now we have a aircondbthats sitting in the garage - we willntry hipages instead - we paid $89 for a quote that was a waste of money and dint benegit us one bit and waste our time- btw the wuite tool 7 days after the site visit and only after we chased the good guys to ask their subcontractor why the delay.
