Furminator Hair Collection Tool

Yes, there are some annoying things about this but it’s the only tool we’ve ever tried that actually gets our Cavalier’s long fur off our clothes and furniture. The sticky lint rollers never came close but the Furminator has been a huge help. We just wish we could get a larger version of it to clean the furniture more efficiently.

Best tool to remove hair from furniture

I have used this product for over a year and I use it on our comforter every single morning. It picks up hair so easily and takes about 5 minutes, never misses any. I had the older green version and upgraded to this one, it did arrive damaged and they are sending a replacement. I hope that the new one is as good as the old because I have no complaints about it! Im not sure why so many bad reviews because the tool is been great!!! Easy to use and picks up alllll the hair. We have 2 long hair Siberians that shed ALOT!

Better than a Lint Roller

I detest lint rollers. I don't know why...i just really dislike them. I bought this as a reuseable alternative to the typical lint-roller. We have 3 house cats, 2 of them long-haired maine coons, and we wear a lot of black...our clothes are ALWAYS covered in cat fur. This brush is sturdy, and it works very well at removing lint and animal fur. the little door over the collection chamber won't stay closed, but that's not a big deal. overall it does exactly what it is advertised to do.

Disappointed

I was excited to get my FURminator lint roller knowing their quality products. I was disappointed in the low quality tool. The collector compartment lid won't stay closed during operation, and I had to tape it to keep it closed. You have to turn the handle numerous times before the small lint brush is cleared to use again. The fur has to be picked out of a void as it doesn't collect in the bin provided in the brush.

Don't get your hopes up

I have a black wool coat that attracts cat hair like a magnet. Lint rollers don't help, and I've gone through so much packaging tape trying to get it off, I'm always looking for something else that might work, so had hopes for this device. As others mentioned, the lid keeps flopping open and has to be held closed while using it, which isn't too terrible.. It does get cat hair off of some cloth items, and it does get *some* cat hair off of my wool coat, but -- not the vast majority of it. Sorry. I'd give this 2.5 stars, and wouldn't recommend it for black wool coats, but it does work for some things.

Good but flimsy

I bought this to help with the furniture. The lid that is supposed to open to get rid of the cat hair is flimsy and keeps popping open. It’s cheaply made. Not what I would expect from firmanator. You can get cheaper with better quality from Amazon.

Great idea... terrible execution

Was excited to get this product as we've used other FURminator products with our dogs. The hair collection pad works for the first few strokes, but when you attempt to clear the pad, the knobs are difficult to turn and it does not rotate fully to clear the pad. The hair never ends up in the chamber. It just rolls back and you have to pick the hair of the pad manually. The other issue is the that the clear cover pops open without pushing the button, so we are constantly closing the lid and then it pops back open. Back to the drawing board FURminator. :-(

This has no business having FURminator name

This is a ridiculous impression of a lint roller/collector. The catcher lid doesn't stay closed. It takes twice as long to use. It does NOT eliminate hair that is woven in, even by just the tip of a hair. I tried it, even with the price tag, simply because it has the FURminator name. I feel totally ripped off by the description because it certainly does not live up to its name OR description. Go by a roll of tape, you'll get much better results and safe yourself a lot of cash.

Is amazing. It really does well without the need to pull off any roller tape or replace with a new pad. The only I don't like about it is that the hair will kind'a get caught between the catch and the hair reservoir. So you always end up with a little hair trapped in there when emping the catch.Also, I see some other reviews where people think this is supposed to be used on your dog? It's only for furniture and clothes. Kind'a confusing because they give you the instructions for use for all of their products (not just the FURmainator) in the box. So I feel like that is why they think it's supposed to comb the dog too??

Very Impressive Product!

I was skeptical when first ordering this product, but after seeing how amazing the Furminator grooming products were I decided to give it a shot. It’s a game changer! No more buying endless packs of lint rollers for my clothes! I love that this is a reusable/sustainable product. It really does get the job done! I have 4 cats, a dog, and 2 guinea pigs-so I know a little bit about the hairy clothing problems. I’ve tried many other “similar” products over the years and this is hands-down the best!
