FURminator Long Hair Small Dog Deshedding Tool Metallic Red Small

Pretty impressive on my two cavaliers! You need to use a very light touch because you only need to remove the undercoat that's already loose and ready to fall out. If you use any pressure, it pulls the top coat and this is painful for them. It's necessary to brush first to get rid of any mats and tangles, and then use the de-shedding tool after. So if you don't already have a brush of some sort, then you'd need to buy one as well. Rubber grip is great, the tool itself has a bit of weight to it but not difficult to use.

I have rough coat parson russel. Pretty long thick hair...I'm not sure my dog was shedding a lot or the tool cuts so much hair...not only the hair falls. My dog looks bold and weird thin hair now. Sorry

I was a bit sceptical about buying this due to the price but it removes so much fur, even when it doesn't look like there is much loose fur to remove.I use it on a pug x.
