Good quality look and feel to the loafers. Exchanged for half size smaller as fit was on the large side. Only worn once. May take a wee while to ‘break in.’

They’re too small. I followed the size guide very carefully and double and triple checked the length of my feet - my longest foot is 295 mm, so clearly a size 11 according to the chart (which says up to 293 for size 10.5 and 299 for size 11). I do not have particularly wide or high feet, it is usually the length that is limiting, so when the shoes were initially a bit tight on the sides I was not worried because I expected they would give a bit. However, after carefully walking in them and gradually increasing the flex to a normal stride, I can say that these shoes are definitely too short - my toes get completely jammed into the front of the shoe! Not like “it would have been nice to have a little more wiggle room in the toe box”, but actually squeezed together/under each other and hitting the front edge of the shoe. No way anyone with 299 mm feet could walk in these. I’ve walked about 4 km in them without improvement, so I have to conclude that these shoes will never fit comfortably. I’ve not had loafers like these before and the length cannot be checked when you are just trying them on (because you need to flex them, which creases the leather so you can’t return them in new condition), so you’re left with having to trust the guidelines. The size guide for these shoes is either wrong, or the shoes I’ve received are faulty. A bit annoying, stuck with a pair of useless shoes.

Bought my first pair of bass pennies about 40 years ago from j simons when it was in Covent Garden.I’ve loved them ever since. These are great only shame is that there in corrected leather and not full grain. That said, it does not detract from the style and the snug fit which makes them cool and timeless

The left shoe is too big and slips in the heel compared to the right, which fits perfectly. It also looks as if it has been used for something or other, which makes it block out a bit. I have a pair exactly like and in same size and they fit perfectly both right and left.
Sizing is so off, I followed the size recommendations of the website to go a half size down of my usual size, it was still too big, I had previously tried a whole size down, but they were too small. The shoe is like a doll shoe with the leather feeling like plastic due to heavy treatments being applied making for an unnecessarily hard shoe (probably due to using cheap leathers)The soles of the shoe tears up so easily even from just walking in your home to try them out. And if they don’t fit, you can’t return them because they would have a damaged sole from a few steps so as per the return policy you can’t return them.If you want to waste some money on some large plastic doll shoes, go ahead!
The shoes are amazing looking. The build quality really looks top noch spetially for the price range. The presentation made me feel that I am really buying a quality product. However, unfortunately I will have to give you three stars for the fit. I believe maybe my feet are a little too wide for them and at first it really was a challenge to get my foot into the shoe. This particular model do takes some painful wear to brake the leather in and I am not quite there yet still. So if you don't have a fairly thin foot do take that into consideration. I would love to see maybe wider sizes available in Europe. Other than that, great overall.
Quality was great, looked and felt amazing as always. Not sure if sizing has changed though as I’m always a 7 in these and they were too tight to even get on - seemed a big difference between Left & Right as well. Ordered 3 different colours all the same style and it was the same for all 3. Shame because I the look and feel incredibly well made as usual
Excellent customer service. Really happy with help received. Highly recommended. On the product: fit like a glove, great timeless design.
Extremely hard leather that doesn’t break in. After over 10 wears, my feet continue to get bleeding and blistered and it’s become impossible for me to wear the shoes any longer.
Never fail to be perfect fit. I’d never seen these Weejun loafers in dark brown and had to buy them. There will be the exact colour for 2024 fall/winter to wear with my tweed blazers. I’ve been a big Bass Weejun fan for decades and have them in black, navy, oxblood and cognac. They are my favourite “go to” shoe. Worth every penny and last for years! Thank you.
