Came way faster than I expected, thank you. Beautiful watch and mod. Unfortunately, I broke it immediately thinking that I had to adjust the hands with the actual crown piece and broke the crown off, but I slid it back in there and realized that you have to do it through the G-Shocks actual push buttons. Dumb mistake on my part. Thank you for the great service! It looks and feels great, nice weight to it, too!

Casio does it again, the CasiOak is the bees knees.

I have never owned a G-Shock before but own two previous Casio wristwatches, both old and almost vintage. So my purchase of another Casio had to come with a good reason and I am delighted to say that the Casio G-Shock "casiOak" does not disappoint. Everything about this watch states it's intended purpose. Tough, accurate, good looking, comfortable and manages to display various functions in a readable fashion. My particular choice has left me with a dark dial, which can be trifle annoying at certain times but these are few and infrequent and this is more than made up for by the impressive and stylish overall appearance.

Found watch overly complicated to

Found watch overly complicated to actually set the time initially. The digital screen is tiny and the process complicated and long winded (mine needed resetting because of magnetic interference or jarring during transit). As a result I've not bothered with any other functions. Not at all user friendly.That said, now the time and date have been set I absolutely love the thing. Light, comfortable and looks amazing.Overall as much as I love the look and feel, and as much as the ruggedness of it might be a plus, I'm not sure I'd buy another one, simply because of the hassle setting the thing up.

G Shock Watch

Pros:G Shock watches are always aesthetically pleasing. The color combination of black and purple goes great. It’s 45.4mm dial size which is great fit for young men. Durable and light weight.It has lighting which can be used in night.Cons: The radium is not that strong and in night you can not see the time without good light. Either you have to click the button and view the time. Otherwise it is difficult to see the display.Hence it is great wear only for the Daytime.!

Mixed opinion

It was the best option I could find to replace a lovely classic watch as there was nothing remotely (of quality) anything similar. Nice to have a white face background instead of black but white fingers makes little sense. Thankfully they do stand out reasonable well and amazingly glow really well in the dark. Additionally the light button illuminates averything well and is much better than the normal yellow glow in the bottom corner. The donwside it the light button is not prominant and so difficlut to find.Date and time figures are clear but tiny in size and, when you consider the advanced technical features of Casio watches I don't understand why we have to accept USA date format instead of the UK norm!I do like the quality and sturdiness of Gshock watches but ... MoreIt was the best option I could find to replace a lovely classic watch as there was nothing remotely (of quality) anything similar. I like the uncomplicated but yet stylish look of this watch. I do like analogue watches with the added benefit of digital LCD alarm setting, stopwatch and timer. The only downside of this watch is that the LED digits are extremely small and dark to see, making it necessary to angle the watch against the ambient light to read them. However, the important part is that the watch keeps superb time and I'm able to wear it when I'm in the water.On another note: thank you to Watch Direct for a superb service. I ordered the watch Thursday around noon, received a message that afternoon to say the watch has been dispatched, received the watch the following Monday - couldn't ask for a better service. The item came in new in box. Very nice watch. I didn't anticipate the watch face to be so dark or the hands to be as dark as they are. In a bright room it's easy to see but in lower light it's not as bright. The digital display is tiny too. I have never seen the watch in person. As an older adult, it's hard to see the display and dial and hands as is the case in most watches.

The watch is definitely not new since the case was replaced at one point and put on upside down. Makes the entire stamped lettering on the watch incor

Did not come in the original box or with any paperwork. The watch still works though, so that's why 3/5 stars.
