I have been wanting and watching this G-Shock Casio watch ⌚️ for a long time on Walmart Clermont at Johns Lake Road. Convinced my wife yesterday to buy it and bought it yesterday. My wrist is big but I love this watch in spite the dial is smaller than the other G-Shock watches. I love the design, Chronometer, Countdown timer, several alarms⏰️, the hourly chime, 200 meter water resistant and Shock resistant. I also love the resin band. I think I will reccomend this watch to anyone. Goes along well with the rest of my G-Shock Watches Collection.

The old ones were stainless steel under the resin...and the resin generally didn’t last long before it would crumble.The new DW5600 is much improved. The resin seemingly lasts forever and the watch it’s self is a polycarbonate which is not only stronger...it’s lighter and thinner though they look the same from the exterior. These new ones (this came out in 96) have a much better EL backlight as well. What makes this truly great is the features. It has everything you need and nothing you don’t. Time/day/date, countdown timer, alarm, stopwatch...and it shows the current time in all modes...the only g shock with this feature. It’s also very stylish with its retro 80s appearance.Can’t say too many great things bout this watch. If you want a tough, go anywhere, do anything accurate and reliable time piece look no further. It’s the best watch money can buy

The colours in the advertised pictures do not accurately represent how this watch looks in real life. My guess is they have photographed this using a polarizing filter which is normally fine to minimise reflections. However, in this case it means that in person the watch face is way more yellow, bright and ugly in my opinion. It also reflects light like crazy making the watch face very difficult to read even in low light. The plastic strap also squeaks and overall just feels very cheap.
I bought this watch to replace an exact style my husband had for the past several years. He finally broke both bands on his old one. He needed to get a new one quickly and after a quick search found the same model on Walmart for a great price. For a couple of extra $$$ had it delivered to the house within 3 hours from a local Walmart. He doesn’t like the big watch faces of some of the other models and brands and was excited to see that I was able to replace his broken one so quickly, It has just enough features to make him happy as he is not a real tech savvy guy. He’s tough on his watches as he never takes it off and it holds up to the abuse he gives it.
Watch seems to be as advertised. Shipping on the other hand was horrible. My watch was delivered via FedEx in a ploy mailer without any packaging or box. The watch was literally floating around in the bag by itself. whoever packed my item just tossed the watch in a poly and sent as is. Also there was adhesive residue and paper stuck to the watch face, as if someone peeled off a sticker poorly. I can't believe the lack of work ethic walmart employees have, shameful and will not order from walmart again.
The overall look is really eye-catching but without being over the top; the tint on the screen "pops" with vividness when the light hits it, yet it's still easy to see the time.The watch overall is very lightweight and comfortable to wear.Now, one MAJOR design flaw which really lets this watch down is the 'A' button; it's ever so slightly compressed compared to the other buttons so that it's basically level with the case that goes over it, making it extremely hard to press; this a problem when you're using the stopwatch feature and need to do a reset.I'm keeping the watch because of the design but it's left me rather disappointed at the same time.
Cost a bit more than the low level Casio watches but so worth the extra bucks. Casio watches last and the thing that always goes before the watches themselves are the wrist bands, the cheap rubber breaks. THIS ONE has heavy duty (thicker) rubber wrist bands with the fastener part being made of metal so that will never break either. It lights up so you can see the time in darkness and does all the other things (alarm, stop watch etc.) you expect from a Casio AND the watch is protected by the G-shock frame. A great watch.
Beautiful watch. It came in a solid tin container. The watch itself is sturdy. It is surprisingly comfortable for as chunky as it is. I wear it in the classroom. It's survived a flying wooden block. I wear it at football training. It doesn't get itchy or uncomfortable from the sweat. I wear it in the shower. The wife says I have no excuse for going over 10 minutes.Only issue: the pictures of the watch say 'fox fire' but the one I received says 'illuminator'. I think these photos need to be updated.
I bought this watch about 4 years ago and after the battery dying and my kid spilling juice on it. I took it off to clean the buttons a bit better (they were sticking because of the juice). I lost it on my travels.I went into Walmart, just yesterday and was having my kid pick out some of them. He likes the bigger ones and he is only five... Already making smart decisions. But I never really like the bigger ones so he chose this one again. I couldn't believe it was only 29 dollars.For that price or even the 52 dollat price. Totally worth every penny. The battery may be at its half life but thats ok. I can do this myself haha.
