It comes with a 2 year warrantee, just like my other G-Shocks, I don’t expect to ever need it!Being a “Tough Solar” you don’t need to worry about the battery ever being dead, I have the auto Illuminator on and don’t need to worry about it draining my battery. The watch features a power save option that will turn the watches main functions off if the watch is left in the dark for long periods, this is fantastic as you can go to bed at night and know that when you wake up all you have to do is press a button and your watch is ready to go.The watch has quite a large face approx. 50mm my wrists are about 6.5 inches and it’s not too big on me, as you can see from the picture. The buckle is on the 5th hole from the face of the watch and there is plenty more adjustment if your wrists are smaller or larger.The watch has a nice weight to it, not too light that it feels cheap and flimsy, and not too heavy that it’s too heavy to ware.This would make a fantastic gift for the man in your life; it has a military styling, looks like something cool special ops guys would ware.

Although it is a chunky watch, it is light & fits on my ordinary sized wrist amazingly well. It is stylish in the sense that most people who will use one of these will probably like the tough functionality of the watch. In not sure it is stylish in the flashy dress sense. It keeps time to less than seconds a month difference with my Casio Wave Ceptor atomic time watch so I have not needed to adjust the timing. I have also been in the Sea with it on but have not tested it to the 40 metre depth that I believe it says it can cope with. It has all the normal functions of Stop Watch, Alarm, Signal etc of other Casio watches & It does have an excellent light function in the dark clearly showing the whole face of the watch. Casio’s always been my favorite watch to have and wear. When looking for one online through Walmart I seen several to choose from but I needed to narrow down to one so had chose this one. But I might have chosen to fast. I was really looking for an atomic watch but instead after realizing that I had order a solar powered watch it was to late. I’ll give this one try and see how long it can last. I must of admit it is a good stylist type. I like it.
This is a rather complicated pilot's watch, which I had trouble even trying to set the time--I let it sit for a day and it set the time automatically. For a used watch looks like new, no scratches or problems. It has a lot of great features, but will take me a while to learn how to operate them. This had a great price, was shipped from the UK and delivered effortlessly. I easily found the manual online. I have been looking at this watch for years and was very happy to find this one at a reasonable price.

I'm enamored w/ it. The 'greats' or pros: - The light or EL (electro-luminescent) panel on it is very luminous and can be set to illuminate for 1 or 3 seconds. You can also initiate the function when you turn your wrist, the module automatically illuminates- i.e. the Auto Light function. I don't use that feature b/c it will drain the battery over a prolonged use of time. The whole display shines a sorta dull but bright light Carolina blue (TAR HEELS in the house!!!!) hue light when the button is pressed. - When it arrived in the mail it was on a med. charge. Its an indicator that has black dots for the Pwr Saving function (when the watch hasn't been moved forca. 30 mins, all readings on the dial go invisible to conserve pwr; to get it back on all you have to do is move your wrist or press a button) and the Auto light indicator. I like contrast so this works well for me. The cons (which really aren't cons but don't meet or exceed my preferences): - You have to set the DST (daylight savings time) manually; if this was an Atomic or Wave Ceptor watch, it has a setting to sync it to the Fort Collins, CO radio tower automatically. - In World Time, Stopwatch, & Timer modes it doesn't show the set Time Zone time like my G-Shock Riseman & my W-S220-1AV does. - This is a con for ALL G-Shocks: the alarm isn't loud enough & it only resonates for 10 seconds. You'll be thoroughly pleased w/ this watch if the cons listed aren't a necessity for you. I no longer regret buying this watch. I got mine used but in pristine cond. for a total (including shipping) for $40.15. Not bad 4 a virtually NIB G-Shock Tough Solar. I hope this review helps Casio devotees or those trying out Casios for the 1st time. This is my first review on any item on Ebay.

Overall am not impressed with the overall quality and have worn it for 3 weeks in Spain in 30 degree sunshine and am not impressed with the illiumination of the either the watch face or when the light is pressed. So much so l have given up squinting at it, and returned to my old watch and am now looking for a differnt model. The face is the usual well laid out G shock but the fiqures could be bigger, the buttons easy to use and easy to switch modes, but would have liked a dual time, as l travel to and from europe alot. The strap feels cheap than ones l have had before and feels that it will break any time. I would not recommend this product and am max ... But on top of all that, I also think that it looks incredibly good! Love the all black look. I was concerned that G-Shock watches are so large, and I do have quite small wrists, but in reality it looks great and had many compliments about it. Definitely a great purchase. Highly recommended.
