G-Shock Digital Watch - Black (GD100-1B)

This watch is amazing. In my opinion it the most durable watch on the market. I have had mine for over 5 years and it took it's fair share of beating in all types of environments and just keeps going. I love how easy it is to clean with just a little soap and water it will look brand new again. I highly recommend this watch especially if you are into outdoor activities. Well worth every penny and comes in various styles and colors.

I bought this watch after the last gshock gave up the ghost after 20 years.This watch is stylish and very functional and I would say that gshock watches are the best watch you can get.

Cheap replacement bands delivered within a few days made my watch wearable again

Not that easy to fit as the dimensions are not exactly the same as an original band. I used my original pins as they were thicker and stronger. Used original buckle which is stamped with G SHOCK. Once on, all good. The original resin was fantastic and lasted nearly 10 years. I wonder how long this replacement will last. Even if it only lasts a couple of years, still have the second band.

Convenient

I need a digital watch with military time for my new job, so this watch is perfect! I used to have a blue one years ago, but I’m loving this black one even more. I like that it can be set to military time as well as editing the time and date. My watch is required to be perfectly set to the exact time like the phone(to the second) so this makes it very convenient for me.

G-SHOCKS ROCK!

This is a very nice timepiece. I love the solid black features. I especially like the dial when the backlight is lit up. It's a decent size and fits nicely. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

Great Gift Idea

I had been looking for a great gift for my boyfriend who is in law enforcement. They have such a strict dress code so I was looking for something that met the criteria.When I came upon this watch I knew it was the one. It was delivered in a good amount of time. The packaging and boxing is perfect for wrapping. My boyfriend absloutley loved the watch and never takes it off. The band is very nice- high quality! And the face of the watch is sturdy. It was the perfect size, not too clunky and large and the battery lasts 7 years! This is such a great gift idea if you are looking for one!

Great Watch

Bought one for myself a few years back...my son loved it so I gave it to him about 2 years ago. My younger son then wanted the exact same one. Bought another one last month.I loved it. Kids love it. Great watch. No complaints what so ever. I'd buy it again and again if I have to.

Was served by a guy in a pub wearing one of these a few weeks back and as I already owned a GD-350looked into getting one of these and so went onto the Watchshop site and bought one for £75 with discountcode LOVE25 so it seemed good value for money.Was even more impressed when I got it out of the box the next day. Fit and finish is better than my GD-350and comparable to my GW-9400-1A (positive display). Has a smoother more science fictiony ascetic thanthe 350 which is more business like and military, even badass, but that's what I was looking for. Nice red letteringand green and red second counter dials on a mid grey face really set it off. Looks about the same diameter asthe GW-9400 but is slimmer so should be OK with Natos/zulus etc. It looks more elegant and understatedthan in the photos/vids.Having a few GW tough solar and multiband 6 'shocks I don't consider the lack of these or the basic speca problem as it's so easy to look after, just put it in a drawer for a few days/weeks and wear it when you want to andthe battery should last 10 years if you don't use the backlight illumination.I have a 16cm wrist and the strap does splay out a bit at the lugs. It is noticeable to me but in the mirror andto other people the chunky strap does hide it and it looks fine. Lets face it it's what other people think that reallymatters. The GD-350 is a snugger fit for a small wrist and oddly enough so is the GW-9400. If you want the solarand multiband the vaguely similar GW-6900 and GW-7900 can be had for the same money but aren't so pretty.

Overall a decent watch for the price

I really like this watch but it is definitely on the big side. I knew that going in. Just like the negative display is hard to read in some light but I was aware of that when I purchased it. The light works great though. My biggest complaint is the alarm volume. If there is any noise around me, I can't hear it at all. It's super quiet. But it looks good and I'll just have to wear it when I don't need an alarm. You can see the size of it compared to my DW-6900BB-1DR. Overall, I'm pleased with it. Side note: to turn on the auto light feature, press and hold the light button until the "LT" icon comes up at the bottom of the screen. It's there but the instructions weren't clear on that.
