I am happy with the quality of the Casio GST-B400 red. Geniune watchbox. Only one problem with tax amount 21%, not explain during the process of the order. That means, the Creationwatch pricetax included is the same with french market. The difference is only the red color not available on european market. So I am happy. 5 stars for watch 3 stars for missing amount tax

I have the grey version of this watch. I love to use it while outdoors or going hiking. It has the triple sensor on it. Temp, barometer, compass and altitude readings. It's powered by solar and can get a good 8 to 10 months easy on a little charge. I find it to be very trendy, nice and durable. Never had a single issue with it. It does take a minute to learn how to set it and the manual is pretty thick. I would recommend this watch for anyone who hikes, mountain climbs or like me to camp out ride a bike with. It's a solid watch that can take a beating! This is a HUGE watch, not big but huge. So if you have small wrists, this won't be a good fit. The dial is the solar panel. What it isn't: Isn't for a kid, isn't cheap and isn't for just dress up. It's a working watch ...Β MoreI have the grey version of this watch. I love to use it while outdoors or going hiking. It's a working watch with a solid performance. I want to say I paid anywhere from $350-400 a few years ago for it. It is a tad bigger than the Mud version. I have a watch collection of many types and this is my Hoss! I wear this also out in the weather since I'm a Storm Chaser, so it's pretty tough. π #Casio #ProTrek #watch #greatoutdoors #camping #hiking #mountainclimbing #travel #vacation #diving #sportswatch

It automatically keeps exact time via GPS. It is shockproof and waterproof to 200m. It can give altitude, sunrise, sunset, tidal information and barometric pressure. It can be used to track my position via GPS as well as showing compass information. It has a rechargeable battery which can automatically be charged using built in solar panels which operate on any form of light. The battery can also be charged using a special battery charger provided with the watch.

The watch is really nice, ultra light and the band is very comfortable. The band which is a woven fabric type is very comfortable. Barometer is very accurate and consistent. Temp and compass likewise. The only issue is the altimeter which does not work well. When I manually set the elevation for my location it will reflect even small changes in elevation like from the ground then raising to standing level however, within a short time, an hour or more it shows a skewed elevation often many times higher and at times showing below sea level. If not for that this watch would be virtually perfect. Casio website does mention that altitude needs to be reset. I didn't realize how often.
I kind of look at every watch where the elevation is determined by pressure as more of a novelty; a toy to play with in the field. The only way you will ever get accurate elevation readings is with a gps. In fact, I checked this against my gps and found that after hiking up 2400 ft in elevation, the watch was off by 150 ft. If you're looking for a professional piece of equipment; something to survive off of, this is not the item. You will even find this disclaimer in the instruction manual. The watch has a ton of functions that are useable, including sunrise times. A lot of features that I will probably never use, but some might; what time it is in other time zones etc. As mentioned before, the altimeter will constantly be off and will need to be adjusted. The barometer works well. The temperature is not accurate unless you leave it off your wrist for a half hour or so (also noted in the manual). The compass (including the declination setting) is very accurate. The accumulated ascent and descent function on the trek logs is a nice function. It pretty much all boils down to this; As far as I'm concerned, a watch that measures altitude based on pressure is never going to be accurate. If accuracy is what you're looking for, you'll need to get a gps watch. But for the sake of having a nice tool to take out in the field to play with, this has got all the bells and whistles. I do enjoy playing with it.
Wanted a decent camo solar powerd watch for hunting season - this Casio came up as a really good choice - all tho I feel that after the200$ mark most watches are priced too high for the average consumer - retail was 280$ so I guess a little better of a deal at 255$ but I still think thats high fora niche market - the watch is pretty cool , band wearsalittle uncomfortable and I am hoping it breaks in after some more usage during the upcoming dove season. As far as the watch features -its pretty comparable to a suunto vector - takes a little while to figure out the steps to get to whatever application like the sunset/sunrise feature (important to know for hunting) - overall pretty happy with the watch so far. Bought the identical same watch for wife but in pink/black and paid less than half which I thought was a really good deal (only 100$) and she loves it
Bought this for my daughter as her old G-Shock wasnt solar-powered and rather than just replace the battery, I wanted to replace it with something that wouldnt need another battery changefor a very, very, very long time! She loves the watch! Its very comfortable and both my wife and I think its super cute! Nice to see my daughter loving her Casios as much as I did when I was her age.
Great watch, looks great and is built well. Built in functions are good and are reasonably easy to use. Plastic buttons feel a touch cheap but can be overlooked for how light this watch is. There is a single huge flaw with this watch - having arm hair. There are tabs on the band that catch arm hair between the strap and watch every time the watch moves, so after day 1 it had removed half of the hair on my wrist. A few minutes with a Dremel and that issue was solved, I'm sure sandpaper or a file could achieve the same effect with a bit more elbow grease involved. Not sure what they were thinking with that bit of design, obviously didn't test it with us moderately hairy folk. I've attached a picture of my bands post-hair-compatibility-upgrade.
First class service from first class watches. 2nd watch I have purchased, the first for my sons 16th and now a top up present for his 21st. Gone with GShock both times due to their hard wearing quality and active life style my son has. The first is still going strong but wanted something different so went for G-Shock | G-Steel | Bluetooth | Chronograph | Blue | GST-B100G-2AER. Amazing service, ordered it on Friday morning and received it Saturday morning the next day, I was kept up to speed from Royal mail all the way through. I have never purchased something so easily, very impressed and highly recommend First Class Watches.
Got this watch as a JDM purchase before the American and possibly global release. This was on my purchase list since the first rumours were out. I have a lot of premium gshock and I love collecting them and wearing them. This Is a great looking addition to my stable. It's expensive but offers a new interface and new feature set. Only compliant so far is that for a GPS watch there is no quick fix for GPS signal like other GPS watches form Garmin and Suunto. The satellite acquisition time is a bit long at over 1min but that's annoying but not a deal breaker. The design is bold and unapologetically G shock. I am loving it.
