I have had this watch for over 10 years now and has been worn everyday whilst working in a heavy industrial environment. It still works perfectly, could not fault this watch in any way.

this watch does have a lot of good points and even more bad ones. i got this watch because i needed a simple weekender watch. i had read that it was NASA approved for spaceflight. i am not an astronaut but i thought that bit of information was pretty cool. its a very cheap unfinished looking watch. It is very functional though, and feels good on the wrist and is not overly large. The function buttons are very deeply set in the body of the watch and i thought they were broken as the plastic around them is very sharp. Because they are so deep set, it makes them very hard to operate. you really have to get your fingernail in there to get them working. the watch 'light' is dumb. when activated the screen turns green which makes the time very hard to read. how this is ... It's a lovely simple practical watch with a great looking dial and I'm glad that I purchased another G-Shock to replace my old faithful. Also, the service by the staff at Watch Direct were an absolute pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend them and will if needed order from them again.

After having previously used a Timex Ironman watch for nearly 15 years I went to this G-shock as the price looked good and it is 200m water resistant. Nice low profile so when swimming, surfing etc it didn't seem to affect my stroke, the face isn't too big which is good for my fairly small wrists. The strap is nice an comfortable and appears sturdy enough for surf/sand sports etc. The screen is not flush with the surround so is protected against knocks. Couple of issues though, the adjust button is recessed making it nearly impossible to use without good fingernails or a pen, very annoying. The digits are hard to make out if not viewed from directly in front, from the side they 'shadow' a lot.

Great watch without all the digital folderall. I want to know the time I already know my heart is still beating. I have had a G-Shock before and loved it. Whitch is why I purchased another.
It seems okay so far. I like gshock but this time it was hard to find the right one. Most had very flimsy or short straps that would not last.Sales lady was very helpful in making my choice
