I had originally bought another G Shock from a local retailer and then I came across this one on ebay. I'm glad I returned the other one because this one is larger and much cooler looking. This watch has lots of features that I'll never even use, just need time, date and a light to see in the dark. I don't need to know the time in 100 cities around the world.

Comfortable, stylish, durable, practical. I needed a durable watch that looks nice and clearly shows me date, time, and utilized a stopwatch function. Great value!
I like it, but the dial is seriously difficult to read, even with the light on. Reading the timezones was hardly possible even with a big magnifying glass. Compass works well. Thermometer works if you take the watch off for long enough to cool to room temp. Otherwise you get a temperature that is something between your body heat and room temp. Fit and finish is really good. My bottom line is, buy it if you like the style and don't care too much about the details on the dial. Its a nice watch when you get it at the discounted prices on ebay.
I have an older g shock I have been wearing for a long time. It is tan, i referee basketball and umpire baseball, so I wanted one to blend in! The screen is very difficult to see unless you push the button for the light! Not very happy at all !
I really like this watch but it is definitely on the big side. I knew that going in. Just like the negative display is hard to read in some light but I was aware of that when I purchased it. The light works great though. My biggest complaint is the alarm volume. If there is any noise around me, I can't hear it at all. It's super quiet. But it looks good and I'll just have to wear it when I don't need an alarm. You can see the size of it compared to my DW-6900BB-1DR. Overall, I'm pleased with it. Side note: to turn on the auto light feature, press and hold the light button until the "LT" icon comes up at the bottom of the screen. It's there but the instructions weren't clear on that.
Awesome watch, comfy and stylish. Looks smart and sporty, good for any event! Great for work, built good and unbreakable and very light. Can not complain when buying a G Shock! & especially from shiels! Only jewellery store I will shop at.
I was looking for the largest oversized g-shock available. Once I purchased this one I found out there's one larger. That's the only reason why I didn't give 5 stars.
It may be big but its comfortable. Looks rough n tough No more batteries No more trying to set the time n date Atomic radio feed keeps the rangeman on point. Bunch of other kool features, do ur self a favor order one today
