Great upgrade over my stock Asus Rog 16gb stick. Would recommend for a gaming upgrade. Works with Armory Crate without issues (must download Ram driver on Armory Crate) each stick recognized individually and syncs no problem.

Using this Ram on an MSI-Z370-A motherboard, which is on the QVL. XMP worked out of the box, no adjustments needed. Clocked it up to 3733, and maintained the advertised timings and voltage. Check the QVL (qualified vendor list) on G. Skills website and make sure your motherboard is on the list for this memory! It'll work on other boards too, but if you're looking for a simple experience, just use XMP on a qualified board.

This pertains specifically to model F4-3600C16D-32GTZRC. I bought this kit as it had been listed as a solid Samsung B-Die kit in various reviews. Had this been true, it would likely be an excellent overclocker. However, after inspecting the kit with Thaiphoon Burner, it turns out that G.Skill must have switched this line to Hynix memory at some point. I cannot get this memory to run stable beyond the advertised timings in the slightest. It does work at the advertised timings, so it's not like you're not getting what you pay for, but it is not using the same modules that you'll see reviewed on blogs or youtube videos, which seems a little disingenuous. Ultimately, I should have tested this and returned it before my return window closed, so that's my fault. Bottom ... MoreThis pertains specifically to model F4-3600C16D-32GTZRC. Bottom line is, if you're looking for a kit that runs at exactly what is specified in XMP, this should suit your needs just fine, but if you're looking to tune timings or push the kit beyond the advertised speeds, look elsewhere.

I would always recommend G.Skill RAM, especially TridentZ. I was concerned that this RAM might not be compatible with my particular motherboard -- a Gigabyte Z390 Gaming X -- because it was not listed on either manufacturers' vendor list. But I had the 16GB version of this exact same model, so I figured I'd take the chance, and it works great.Installation was a snap, literally. And setup was a simple as holding the delete key, entering BIOS and turning on XMP to 3600MHz. I am getting great RAM benchmarks, and the fast speeds make a big difference in gaming and other applications. If you're thinking about pulling the trigger on this RAM, it' a no-brainer ... go for it!
Everything seemed fine for a few days of light use, but then I had a nice 24hr session and started noticing hiccups. My PC would randomly restart while gaming, and I also got a few BSODs while gaming/downloading games. My first thought went to the RAM after reading some of the various stop codes given from the BSODs, including 0x50 PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA, which is linked to defective RAM or drivers. I ruled out the drivers because I did a full PC reset and deleted everything out of frustration. Lol I absolutely refuse to turn off XMP, because I want what I paid for (3600MHz CL16). Instead of testing with XMP off, I swapped with a kit of 2400MHz Corsair Vengeance from my other PC. I then tested by downloading a lot of games over about 3-4 hours (which had previously given me at least 2 BSODs in a short amount of time)... no BSOD or restarts with the Corsair. I will be returning these for a replacement, or possibly an "upgrade" to 4x8 TridentZ Neo 3600 (still SK Hynix) since Ryzen also seems to benefit from 4 DIMMs. Disappointed overall. I expected a little more stability, but can't expect much from an SK Hynix kit. The Samsung B-Die (model F4-3600C16D-32GTZR (no "C" at the end)) price is just not worth it for my use case, even though it is far more stable. I will just be enabling XMP and moving on. I've had enough headaches. My system specs: - 5800X (stock) - 3070 Gigabyte Gaming OC (stock) - Gigabyte X570 AORUS ELITE mobo - V750 CM SFX PSU - 1TB WD SN550 SSD - EK 280mm AIO - Lian Li O11-D Mini - 6 x eZDIY Moonlight fans - RAM = NOW PENDING ~
It's a great product overall. Works perfectly at the advertised specs, and looks pretty cool in my pc. The only complaint I have is the lighting software is incredibly buggy and inconsistent, and sometimes the lighting on the ram just bugs out or doesn't turn on at all.
A bit upset for the price spent that have had so many issues with this set. Have had blue sceen crashes since day 1 with it. Thought my issues where my board , so ordered new board . Nope issues are the ram . 1 crashes quite instantly and losses whatever memory task it was doing , so things deleted all come Back. Anytime DL anything blue screen . So i ran just 1 stick at a time . 1 stick crashes within seconds . And the other works for small tasking , but anytime go to download things it will crash every time , but as long as not dl , that one will actually function. Glad i have finally resolved and pin pointed this to the ram. The leds on new board and on my 2nd pc setup both read that the ram as issues as well. So that just further confirmed it. So i finally just for overkill testing , put new ram in system and have had no issues since then. Just once again proving this ram to be faulty faulty . When it works though , its some solid ram . Has taking my trust from a B-dye though and wish had gotten the royals and saved this headache .
So far I have had no problems with this RAM. Installed easily, though harder than my old RAM that had a more basic heatsink (grip when pushing down). Looks cool IMO and XMP loaded properly to get ram Timings. The RAM runs cool based on temp sensors. If your case has a window these memory modules will look great.
Bottom Line: This RAM works as advertised & apparently makes my 3950x & my 6700 XT Very Happy w/SAM enabled. As someone who's owned a TOP END 1080Ti & 5700 XT, I am officially blown away by the performance of these components that really feel like they're in harmony. This RAM paired with my CPU & GPU have everything working amazingly well and I'm very please with the overall result. Just remember... IT IS SK HYNIX and NOT SAMUSNG B DIE
I've been using almost exclusively g.skill ram for a while now. No regrets. Solid performance, reliable, good price point. The one time i thought i had a problem g.skill took the sticks back and ran a full suite of diagnostics. Turns out my memory controller on my cpu just couldn't handle 4 dimms. Service was great. Haven't needed to call again since.
