I am a strong advocate for G.Skill System Memory Kits - truly outstanding performance no matter the application...These are a basic, non-rgb set purchased for a workstation at work... As per the usual - no compatibility issues and excellent performance as expected...I personally buy GSkill over all other brands of memory - better quality chipsets and solid quality control with outstanding performance...

I should have known that this RAM was going to be crap when what I thought was a heat spreader turned out to be a fancy sticker. Getting constant BSOD with ASRock B450M Pro4 motherboard and Ryzen 5 1600. Fresh windows install. Too bad Micro Center doesn't inform customers that this RAM isn't compatible with this mobo/cpu combo when you purchase everything together. I usually expect better from Micro Center.

For a basic 16gb kit of DDR4, this is great value and performance. Sure, people will tell you to get faster RAM, but unless you're really hammering your CPU with processes, this performs just as good. For gamers, the actual difference between 2400 MHz vs 3000 MHz is barely noticeable, with maybe up to 5 frames per second of a difference. Overall, good budget buy for moderate performance RAM.

I bought this ram back in January 2023 and have had nothing but problems with it. A couple weeks after I built my PC, it started getting random BSOD's every few days. I kept diagnosing other parts and didnt think the ram would be defective. I finally ran memtest86 and there were dozens of errors. Unfortunately, I was already out of microcenter's 30 day return policy. I had to deal with G.Skill RMA and pay for shipping. They sent me a new kit in about 3 days, which had even more errors on memtest. I confirmed its not my motherboard because I have another set of EVGA ram which passed memtest perfectly. I asked them to cover shipping for a new kit since they sent me a bad kit, but they wouldn't do it. I also tried to see if I can drop off the ram at their RMA location ... MoreI bought this ram back in January 2023 and have had nothing but problems with it. I also tried to see if I can drop off the ram at their RMA location in walnut so I can save on shipping but again they wouldn't do it. They made me pay for shipping TWICE when I live about 15 minutes away. Currently have a 3rd kit on the way so hoping that one will be better. I definitely don't recommend this kit and probably won't buy gskill ram again.
Never had a bad stick of ram until this set. Exchanged out for new set that works fine. Was a new build so no post, no boot was fun to troubleshoot. When I said I wanted the cheapest ram, didn't expect the hassle of a bad stick and exchanging products.
Worked right out of the box. Excellent ram.Bought this for an Alienware Aurora R6 which came with only 8gb. Post recognized the ram right away and then booted flawlessly. This ram boosted the performance of the R6 tremendously.Highly recommend this ram.
Was seeking low cost memory to use in a build that will only see Browsing, online payment and watching YouTube videos. Found this set as an Open Box item and it is working well in a Windows 11 Home build.
I have a very good shopping experience when visit the Westmont store. The associates are all professional and helpful although I only have one ID: Thomas C.The store follows the good protocol to protect their employee and customers. The memory sticks I bought are easy to install and the BIOS updated the memory capacity without any issue. The overall experience is very good.Keep the good work!
Great to up my current 16GB to 32 GB. Worked great and hard to find memory for my Monster gaming machine! Memory has to match what you currently have and since this is a custom build I had to match the current memory.
I bought this ram as pretty much the cheapest option at the time ($79.99) that wasn't too flashy but not too plain looking. Just wanted at least 16gb at 2400. Runs and performs fine, not looking to overclock or anything like that, and it looks sleek and dark for the pretty much all black build I have. Never heard anything bad about G.Skill either, never had bad experiences with their ram.The only con I can see is that the design on the ram isn't a heat spreader or anything, but more of a vinyl feeling sticker that was slightly peeling off before installation, but pressing it back on kept it in place. I could see it peeling or falling off over time, but only time will tell. That's the only thing I can nitpick, thus dropping it a star.
