This honestly should be illegal. With many newer games seeing a 10% performance difference from 2 dual rank sticks over 2 single rank sticks (and some applications being impacted even more than that) this should be considered a different product. For example, if this RAM was actually DDR4-3000 but sold as DDR4-3200, that would probably be illegal, but that would actually have a smaller performance difference in some applications than going from dual rank to single rank on only 2 sticks of memory. Thanks a lot G.SKILL for letting half the data pins on my sticks do literally nothing. This would be fine on a desktop with 4 RAM slots as it could use the data pins on a different stick while it waits for data on another stick on the same channel. Some laptops do require significant disassembly. So some may opt to have a qualified tech perform the upgrade. I highly recommend doing some research on ur model. Some models have a cover easily accessed and a simple upgrade, others are more involved and not for everyone. See if there are videos showing your specific model. These worked perfectly in my Asus TUF 17" laptop.

I bought these on sale for $90 and it came with two 16 gig sticks I upgraded my omen from 16 gig memory to 32 gig I apparently has a noticeable increase performance. Micro center always comes around with absolutely amazing deals. Have shopped at micro center for years now in Dallas and also Denver and I will continue to do so

Got this in today to upgrade my ROG Strix G15 laptop from 8gb to 32gb. The ram slots were a little finicky to get them seated in correctly. But not an issue with the ram, but rather the ram slot itself being a little smaller than it should have been. The G15 Immediately recognized the new memory kit and needed no finessing to work. Popped into a game of Warzone and found the game loading faster, switching menus easier and gameplay was faster and smoother. I went from 55-60fps on the previous setup to 75-85. This is the only hardware change Ive made so Im extremely happy so far! I would definitely recommend this as a great value upgrade to your laptop!

I did not notice any speed difference in my laptops performance but I noticed I was able to open more apps or run apps that were memory intensive without any hiccups. I was looking for another brand which was rated slightly better but it was discontinued which was great for me because it was a little more expensive with no benefit or performance boost. This ram is high speed premium quality ram at a great price and will let you equipment run more apps with no lag and your machine will run more efficiently. Faster, and will also run better with no downside. I forgot the name of assistant at Microcenter who helped me and my wife with right memory sticks for her laptop from 14 GB to 32. My wife was so happy with increase of speed. Less crash and frozen programs. Everything went smooth. It’s worth for us to stop by and purchased so quick and easy. Of course I’ll go there again for anything.
I had my HP computer serviced because it would not boot, and the problem was traced to an issue with the memory modules (Crucial). Micro Center called me, told me the warranty was voided because of non-HP RAM, and installed these modules. I may be wrong, but I don't believe G.Skill is a subsidiary of HP. I expect to spend another $163 any day now, for a memory issue not covered under warranty.
Having recently purchased a Framework notebook PC, I needed RAM that would be compatible and performant. I looked at options with low latency settings, but they required XMP support - not an option for me (or many other notebook PCs!). I'd like lower CAS options, but that's not a con; that's a wishlist item. What matters is that I now have 32GB of RAM that gets the most out of my computer.
I have an Atari VCS console from Dec 2020 where G.Skill Ripjaws works fine, BUT I got second console in Dec 2021 and even the the part number was the same for the G.Skill memory (and specs) it would not work. I know that my newer Atari VCS is the issue because when took this new set of G.Skill the memory out my other Atari VCS and put in the new one it booted without issue. G.Skill sells it it as the exact same part number as my first set (same part, same UPC, same specs), but it isn't the same as the stock they sold in Dec 2020. The BIOS will show you setting but when you run CPUID you will see that the memory is only at 2400Mhz and task manager shows only 2 GB allocated regardless of what you have in the BIOS. Do yourself a favor and by the TEAMGROUP Elite DDR4 32GB Kit (TED432G3200C22DC-S01) memory.
I usually stick to a few brands when buying memory for Dell laptops as they dont always work. Crucial, Sk Hynix, Timectic. I needed memory right away and only one available was this one 32 GB. I saw other reviews saying that it worked with Dell, so i went for it. I had no issues. I will consider it an alternative in the future when looking for the best price or availability.
