I got this kit and one of the LEDs on one of the sticks didn't work. So I returned it and got a replacement. But heads up!! I noticed on forums people are complaining about this exact RAM kit dying after 3 - 4 months. So I decided to get a 2 years warranty just in case. My kit happens to be Samsung so we'll see what happens in the future. So far I've had it for about a month.Other than that RAM works just fine and I even managed to get tighter timings. Both XMP profiles work as well on Asus Prime Z790-A. I would advise getting a different DDR5 6000mhz kit if you don't plan on getting warranty from Microcenter.I've tried TeamGroup T-Force 32GB DDR5 CL32 6000mhz but it would not work on my setup no matter what. I've tried XMP profiles, different frequencies , different timings but crashed everytime after booting into OS. If you have an Asus Prime Z790-A then keep that in mind when looking for a DDR5 kit.

I've been using this memory in a ROG STRIX Z690-E Gaming WIFI motherboard for several months now. If I try using any XMP profile, the computer will crash after a while. If I turn off overclocking, it runs fine, but that defeats the purpose of even using this memory. Without OC, I shouldve just bought DDR4. For helpful information, I have: - Ran a mem test for 8hrs without any errors. - Updated the BIOS 3 times now (basically every new update that comes out in the hopes that it will solve the problem).

This G.Skill memory seems to be very specific to Microcenter ONLY. Because of this, BIOS support is very limited and scarce from your motherboard manufacturer to fully support these timings. That being said, after 4 months of usage one stick of this kit has suddenly died and no longer detected by the motherboard producing bios boot/error code.So far running on one stick for now until G.Skill can initiate RMA process. Beware of this memory, it appears to be slowly phasing out for a reason and i think MC knows, this product is not up to standards.

Delivered 109% of advertised speed immediately.Fully-compatible w/ BIOS + RivaTuner, MSIAfterburner and other extreme-tuning/monitoring packagesRGB also broadly compatible with no extra steps requiredHigh-quality materials + construction - as you would expect from G.Skill
All the quality you would expect from G.Skill.100% Bios compatibility = easily tuned to your specsRuns at a lower temp than DDR4 (+1)RGB compatible across many popular controllers
I've been using G.Skill RAM for many years after several bad experiences with other brands. Very happy with this Trident Z5 kit. No problems installing and booted right up to proper timings and MHz. Haven't tried overclocking and don't see the need to with very good performance already. PCCG and G.Skill for the win!
Purchased the G Skill Trident Z5 DDR5 memory to mount in my new MEG Z690 Godlike MOBO. This was the only DDR5 RAM at 6600 that was ready for the MOBO. From the get go I was having problems with the RGB lighting using the MSI center and was unable to get the RGB lighting to work without having to reset the software to maintain the lighting as desired. Have been unable to achieve a successful stress test on the new PC. After running a test on the RAM it was discovered that the RAM had 4 errors. There are many reason why the stress test could have failed. The RAM runs at 1.4V out of the box with XMP enabled. I believe the RAM needs a little more proving or for other parts to catch up. The CPU being used for the PC is a I9 12900KS which runs very hot by its self. The ... MorePurchased the G Skill Trident Z5 DDR5 memory to mount in my new MEG Z690 Godlike MOBO. The CPU being used for the PC is a I9 12900KS which runs very hot by its self. The main reason for the poor rating is the errors on the new RAM and the RGB lighting requiring to be set up and every bootup.
This was purchased as part of a bundle with an MSI MPG z690 Carbon WiFi motherboard and i9-12900K. I installed this into my newly built PC and after getting everything set up and configured, the machine ran smooth as butter. Unfortunately, when I rebooted it the next morning after letting it run the Windows update cycle only 1 of the sticks was recognized. I swapped them around, changed slots, and basically did every combination possible of this and flashing the BIOS to no avail. One of the sticks had died. The other however works...for now at least. Let's see how the RMA process works as I will now be out of a computer until I get replacements as I must return both sticks together. I will revise this review upon further experience
I have the Asus X670E RoG Crosshair Hero motherboard and a 7950XAs we know, 6000Mhz memory speed is the "sweet-spot" for clock rates, so with this memory rated as CL34 at 6600, that means it should allow for tight timings at 6000.In the end I was able to get it stable at 30-34-34-95-130 at 6000Mhz and 1.40vNo problems with the RGB.I never tried at 6600Mhz. Not much point really with AM5.
Tried two other sets of more expensive ram and couldn’t get them to post with any sort of overclock. But this one worked with xmp at 6000mhz as advertised.Msi mpg b650 edge Wi-Fi with ryzen 7800x3DHave not yet experimented with pushing it any further.
