The wool quilt is lightweight and warm and the quilted construction keeps the filling in place. I’d recommend this product and would buy it again.

Excellent Quilt. Purchased the 500g weight for my daughter who is always cold and also the 350g weight for my husband and l who had been using a 80% down quilt which was far too warm.

Exactly what i was after. A nice warm quilt for the upcoming autumn/winter, without being too heavy. Good value for money being on SALE.Gainsborough always deliver the goods.
This item is not machine washable and shrinks. When you call Harris Scarfe they say it’s the way you washed it. Not sure how many ways there are to wash a quilt in the machine, lol. It comes with a warranty and when you purchase it, they say bring it back if it shrinks and they will exchange it and send it to the manufacturer and when it does shrink they say they can’t do anything. Essentially don’t ever wash the quilt. My king size shrunk to the point that I had a good chunk of the quilt cover without a quilt.
Not what i expected said would keep warmBoth summer and winter. Need another blanket for winter. So paid way too much for it and not doing the job. Disappointed
I’ve used this quilt for 4 months now. At the start it was great - lightweight yet warm enough for winter. But I started noticing thin white fibres all over my bed, carpet, clothes, room. This quilt sheds like crazy and it gets EVERYWHERE. I picked out the higher priced item thinking it would mean higher quality but how wrong I was.
Brought two of these last week as my kids kept waking in the middle of the night to climb into our bed saying they were cold. One week today and I’ve had no little visitors. We got it during the sales on advice of the sales lady as I was tossing up between this one the tontine and the Jason. Very happy with this purchase Thankyou
It felt great at first, warm but in winter, I would prefer 750gsm wool quilt. Then after a month, I started to see wool fibres on my clothes, I started investigating and found that the stitching is weak and not strong enough. They're starting to come out from the stitching. Maybe in a few months this 500gsm will become a 300gsm wool quilt.
