Gainsborough Freestyle Trilock Urban Brushed Satin Chrome

I received this product complimentary of Gainsborough Hardware and influenster in exchange for my honest review. We installed the Gainsborough Freestyle Trilock Smart Lock and we love it. Installation was pretty easy, programming is simple. I love that you can pair it with the wifi bridge and door sensor kit and download the Gainsborough Freestyle app for smart Bluetooth control. Works on most smart phones. I'm still trying out the settings to suit our household. Comes with 2 keys for extra piece of mind that can override the lock and everyone can have their own pin entry code. You can restrict access and also make a one time use code to give to tradies etc. My husband loves that he can go for a run without needing to take his keys. #EnterWithStyle #complimentary ... MoreI received this product complimentary of Gainsborough Hardware and influenster in exchange for my honest review. We found the keyless entry lock easy to install to our front door. Only taking Approx one hour to install. The app is easy to navigate and the wifi bridge makes it a great way to gain keyless entry and also allows you the option to set up a guest pass code for visitors if you are not home. The lock is sturdy and great quality. It also comes with 2 extra keys. We love the look of it and have enjoyed using it for the last few weeks. Much easier than searching around in my bag for my keys each time i come home.

I’ve been looking for a smart lock for some time now but couldn’t decide or commit to such a pricey purchase, I was lucky enough to receive the Gainsborough Freestyle Trilock Smart Lock and also the wifi bridge! I would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for a smart lock. It can be opened with either the app on your phone or a code. Codes can be assigned to friends and family either permanently or for a set amount of time and can be entered on the hidden keypad (picture attached) You will be notified with exactly who has unlocked or locked the door, when and how! There is an option to set it to auto lock which can be anywhere between 5 and 120 seconds that is handy for those who are forgetful. I would also 100% recommend purchasing the wifi bridge (sold separately) for that added peace of mind while you are out or travelling, that way the door can be monitored remotely via the app. One thing I will mention is that the door can only be dead locked via the app and unlocked the same way, if you privacy lock the door then you can still open it by turning the handle (from the inside) if it’s dead locked you cannot.

How could you not love this easy to access entrance smart lock that is an Australian based design. I hadn’t heard of Trilock before as we had a Samsung in the past but this brand can absolutely hold their own. It is a matte design so you will see a couple of fingerprints but it does look much more high-end. It is a battery based design and can be operated from your phone. It lights up slightly so you can see the interface. Installations process was fairly easy- I didn’t actually do it but my husband didn’t swear too much :) overall, incredible product and would recommend to friends. I am only a week into it but so far so good.

I was delighted to receive this amazing handle and lock to try in return for an honest review. The handle has a great matte black which looks very modern. The instructions were not overly complicated, and the step by step layout was easy to follow. We had all the little tools ready to go which helped. The the installation was a little tricky as we had to allow for the removal of the old handle since we were not replacing the door (yet). We used it on an internal door between the garage and house but have plans to get a new front door soon. We couldn't put it straight on the front door due to the current handle being the long bar style and there are some supply issues for the new door and we are still waiting on it. We used it on an internal door between the garage and house but have plans to get a new front door soon. We couldn't put it straight on the front door due to the current handle being the long bar style and there are some supply issues for the new door and we are still waiting on it. We found that the supplied batteries were already flat so that was a bit disappointing as we couldn't use it right away. The handle itself is very solid and sturdy, so I believe it is going to last a long time. Being able to use keyless entry is great! It means there is one less thing to have to carry around, although at first it's concerning that someone will try to get in by just attempting the pin over and over, but they really need to find the pin pad first! Since the batteries were already flat, I'm a bit worried about how long they actually last in the handle. Having the key override function gives a bit of extra peace of mind, as long as you can get to it (such as an outdoor lock box bolted to a wall, or leaving a key with a neighbour etc). I find the single lock button on the inside to be handy for a quick lock when you come inside, and the fact that you just turn the handle to get out and it doesnt have to be dead bolted is perfect in case you need to get out in a hurry. The app is excellent. You can lock and unlock from it and allocate different pin codes to different people. Handy for allowing a cleaner to get in at certain times! Checking the log of who has been coming and going would have been great to use when my kids were younger. I can't wait to get a new door so I can install it again and get proper use out of it. The matte black matches our front facade and it will look excellent on a wooden varnished door. All in all I'm extremely happy with this lock! I'm sure once I get it onto the new front door and can make use of all the features properly I'll love it even more. I highly recommend this lock.

Finally got to install my Gainsborough smart trilock. I must say its genius technology. When i first got it i thought we will be installing ourselves and there will be no issue. But it’s a complex lock and I didn’t want to be wrong with it so we spent a couple of hundreds and got it done. We are so happy that how convenient it is and it’s worth every penny spent on it. So blessed to be chosen for this campaign and thinking about installing more locks around house , as it looks really gorgeous and safe. Only problem is , it still didn’t get connected to wifi hub, we are still figuring out but we can do without it too. Highly recommended!!

I’m really enjoying this new addition to our house. At first it was a little bit of a pain installing and setting up but once done it’s been really good to have. It’s handy being able to lock to door and be in the front garden or go for a walk and not need to carry keys, I can just use the keypad to enter. I can create permanent and temporary pins for people to enter. I can remotely lock or unlock the door via the app and see the current status if I can’t remember if I locked it or not. There is dead bolt mode so the kids can’t unlock the door from the inside just by pushing the handle to get outside on their own. I can get notifications if someone else unlocks or locks the door. It’s battery operated so the keypad isn’t impacted by power outages. I didn’t know I ... MoreI’m really enjoying this new addition to our house. I was really excited to trial this lock. My husband is a builder, it took him the best part of 1 day to install and connect the WiFi app function. We love the stylish new addition to our home's entry and it has grown on us more and move 9ver the weeks. Super easy to lock or unlock from anywhere using the smart app, it's easier to open manually in low light, plus nit having to search around for keys, just use your code and boom, door open... the make of the lock is really solid and strong and you can tell is a quality Gainsborough hardware. There is 1 reason I only gave 4 stars and that is because when usiningnthe same access code each time, this leaves finger prints on the keypad and if smart enough anyone could look carefully and see what numbers are used often ie ... MoreI was really excited to trial this lock. The Trilock is an elegant and discreet smart lock, with a very clever design, concealing the keypad under a metal cover - to the normal eye, the door handle could easily pass for a regular door handle. Loved the ease of inputting a pin on the keypad or via Bluetooth. As I received these products for free from Influenster and Gainsborough in exchange for my honest review, I also received the Gainsborough Bridge, which connected the Trilock to my home wifi, allowing me to control the lock from anywhere in the world. There is also a great feature which detects whether the door remains ajar. I was easily able to assign PIN codes to different users, even temporary passcodes. I highly recommend this product. #EnterWithStyle #complimentary @GainsboroughHardware @influenster

Undoubtedly the most elegant and discrete looking smart lock

The Trilock is a relatively small and normal looking unit compared to any other smartlock of other brands. It is the same size as usual non-smart lock. Solid feel like any Gainsborough door handle and door lock. Cleverly designed, as from afar without lifting the metal cover of the keypad it would be passed as a normal door handle. To unlock simply keyin the pin number on the keypad or control using "bluetooth" (Gainsborough Freestyle app) within short connection distance. It also comes with set of two physical keys. Full feature is unlocked when you add Gainsborough Bridge, which is an extra purchase. Then the Trilock can be connected to your home WiFi, hence can be controlled anywhere in the world as long as your mobile phone is connected to a decent internet.
