Best phone I ever had!!

This phone is amazing! I've been using it for a while now, and I must say, it's exceeded all my expectations.First off, let's talk about the battery life. It's incredible! I can go a whole day without needing to charge it, even with heavy usage. I love not having to constantly worry about finding an outlet. And speaking of the battery, it charges super fast too. I can plug it in for just a few minutes and get enough juice to last me for hours.Another thing I love about this phone is its waterproof feature. I've accidentally dropped it in water a couple of times, but it's still going strong. Extremely Unhappy with Purchse
28 June 2024

I didn't like anything with this phone purchase. It was listed as refurbished. I have purchased refurbished before where phones looked great with something fixed internally. This phone was the complete opposite. Recieved it with spots all over the back of it, a crack across the back of it, cracks at the camera lenses, knicks on it as well. I also purchased the two year protection plan for drops, spills, etc. This phone looked like I needed to use the protection plan before I would even attempt to use it with how it looked. The first two pictures of the phone are the phone I received. The third photo is what the phone looked like on Walmart.com. Looks perfect on there. It's definitely not what I received. I would not recommend buying.

Liked screen size and speed. Nice camera that will do. Thats about all the pros. Don't know why people like this phone. If you have zoom you can't change the background. It is horrible pairing with cars. I will be going back to Motorola. I think Samsung phones are trash. I left Motorola after they got headphone adapter and required that stupid adapter. However after seeing multiple people with Motorola phones that did what my phone could not do I knew I had been taken. I don't know what these people who review phones are doing but they sure as hell don't have a clue what they're talking about. They sent me the S22 Galaxy it was even a bigger piece of trash. Purchased this phone in April 2022. The seller was very helpful and answered a lot of questions prior to our actually purchasing the phone off of the WalMart web site. Camera is awesome. Charge doesn't hold as long as we'd like and a little tricky to turn on and off, but overall very pleased with the phone........... Until........... we found out this phone will no longer work / or will soon not be compatible with pre-paid phone plans with Straight Talk or Tracfone (they say, due to their new Verizon carrier towers). NOT upset with the vendor (unless they knew this was going to be an issue...), but really upset with these phone companies. They say our only option is to "upgrade" our phone(s) or we can get one of their "free" phones. NOT free, really, when you think of the hundreds of dollars we're losing on a phone(s) we purchased recently. Quite a racket. Why sell this model phone with 4g and VoLTE capability if it won't even work with one of the major carriers? (verizon). Makes no sense to us. We're not in the habit of replacing our phones every two years or less. We take care of them and expect them to last longer than this. Way too much $ to lose on this.

Looked Great and Ran Well

There were no scratches on the phone, it ran like new and looked like I'd got it fresh from the store. I think the screen may have been replaced so right along the edges if you looked carefully it was possible to see a little line like the screen had been added, but it didn't effect the performance or appearance.I liked the battery life on this phone it would last longer than a day while other phones I've had only make it to the evening. I loaded apps and switched screens quickly without lag. The camera was better than the A14 but of course not quit as good as the S21.I had the phone about a month and my ten year old daughter dropped it three times on the pavement, I should probably have taken it away after the first or second drop and realized she wasn't being ... MoreThere were no scratches on the phone, it ran like new and looked like I'd got it fresh from the store. But on the third drop even with the case and screen protector the screen did crack. So if you treat it like a proper phone and don't drop it three times on the street, it would probably have been a good phone for a long time.

I hate this phone. Got sand in it, used rice, hair dryer til it finally said it was charging on a trip in the car-kept getting moisture beep and it was almost dead because I was taking trip photos and everyone knows samsung batteries suck. It fried the OEM charger on the way home and was almost burning to the touch. I hate it when a cell phone is just playing games or general use or charging and makes you feel like its going to explode. Its laggy, camera is slow to respond. but quality is better than most newer ones or I'd be buying a S21 or 22 ultra but I refuse to pay over $800 and have tiny hands and purse pockets so I don't want notebook size or debt/phone payments. The port is worn out/loose which I've had with other phones. Won't charge wirelessly. It's 2.5 years old? and I wanted to get rid of it months ago. I had S5 and S9 before, moto Gs recently but the screen broke after 1 fall. Why does it update software at least once a month now?

Nothing but problems
30 January 2023

I've had this phone for 9 months, and a few months ago it started constantly having network problems. Every single call, it loses audio both ways for 5 to 10 seconds, sometimes dropping the call and sometimes it comes back on. I also get "no sim card detected" every day and have to cycle airplane mode on and off to get network back. I have replaced my sim card to no avail. This is a serious problem as I make a lot of phone calls for work.I've been to Samsung Experience four times now, they insist the phone is normal and it's all because AT&T towers are overcrowded with the switch to 5G. However, my wife and a few coworkers are also on AT&T and never once had these problems. I have these problems every singe day and on every single call. I'm on my way to buy a new phone now and it definitely won't be a Samsung.

Worst phone produced in the 21st century

I was forced to upgrade from my LG ThinQ G8 to this atrocity in March 2022. My previous phone was sooo smooth despite its age and Android version: fingerprint sensor worked flawlessly every time, knock code was reliably helpful, swipe keyboard never gave me issues, voice-to-text comprehended my novels and science-heavy notes, battery life was incredible regardless of app usage, perfect display and refresh rate, multi-tasking functionality worked seamlessly (think having YouTube open playing music whilst simultaneously texting my best friend), came preloaded with actually helpful apps like a music app, what a concept! and above all else, it worked in ways I wanted and needed it. It was the perfect size for my hand, the camera was gorgeous, literally never had a complaint. Then I have to get a new phone to maintain relevancy because yay! 5G! So I select this phone because it's supposed to have a lot of the same features my G8 had. But here's the thing: this phone makes me want to take a bus to NYC, chuck it off the Empire State Building, locate it on the concrete, and then smash it with a fucking hammer. I have never felt such rage towards a technological device as I have towards this monumental piece of shit. The ONLY thing this phone has going for it is a semi-decent night camera. Other than that, nada. The fingerprint sensor works less than a person on perpetual unemployment. Since that method of unlocking the phone is so unreliable, I frequently resort to the backup code entry, which takes a few extra screen taps to prompt, and even then, it doesn't understand I'm actually trying to unlock and use it. The swipe (and regular!) keyboard frequently corrects my typing to nonsensical phrases and mistypings, wasting my time and patience. Voice-to-text typing routinely misses out on the first few words so inevitably I have to erase the whole thing and try again. Even then, I'm lucky if it hears me correctly the first time. Recently it turned a voice-to-text from "coming up the hill" to "coming up from hell", no exaggeration. The battery life is subpar: running two moderately-heavy apps in full 5G coverage OR on wifi will deplete battery from 55% to 15% in 3 hours. The screen resolution and refresh rate is subpar. There is zero multitasking on this turd. A microSD slot is available on this phone to expand storage, yet there is no preloaded music app which makes absolutely NO sense to me. The processor can't deal. The phone's ability to connect to and utilize strong wifi networks is finicky. It won't load an internet page unless you offer it your firstborn. Unless I am gifted one I will NEVER purchase another Samsung cellular device again. I owned a Samsung phone 10+ years ago, back when it was a slider phone with full keyboard and no expectations of intelligence, and it was adequate. The Samsung Galaxy A52 is horrible, and if you're wise, you won't waste your time and money on such a travesty of technological "innovation".
