Samsung products are, as always, well built. The software, UI, and hardware integration is great. Takes good photos. This particular model is snappy, and has all the functions I need.I would prefer a bigger screen than this though. However, it is big enough for most users. Note 9 is comparable to S10 Plus in screen size (I have one also). To some it could be large enough, but for those who need to consume a lot of reading materials, it is still too small. Maybe should have bought Galaxy Fold? For media buffs, I don't know. I don't play games or watch movie on this. Despite the screen being small for my need, it is still bulky and heavy as a phone. Coming from previous Samsung, and Blackberry, this isn't that heavy at all. Speaking of Blackberry, on screen typing ... MoreSamsung products are, as always, well built. Coming from previous Samsung, and Blackberry, this isn't that heavy at all. Speaking of Blackberry, on screen typing on this is terrible. Blackberry is still king on typing. Voice dictation is there, but don't rely on google or Bixby for accuracy. None can compete with Blackberry. I had all Blackberry rare and limited edition phones (excluding Porsche line) so keyboard cannot be beat by these... screen and stylus. There is a slight delay after the stylus is pulled out. So don't expect an instant writing experience. Note taking with the stylus pen on the phone is a little awkward for me. The screen is too small as a note, and pen is too thin and feels fragile to write. I prefer typing. I don't know why I got the note! Was expecting a business class phone. Yet, compared to Blackberry, still lacks. This model came with 512GB of internal storage and 8GB of RAM, which is plenty enough. A bit of concern is, as always, backing up personal information (photos etc) stored on internal storage. There's always a chance of blackout on device. So frequent backup is a must with large storage devices. One can use SD memory in that case.I got mine, used, from Swappa. The seller said it has minor scratches etc but came in pristine condition. The only slight scratch was on the finger print sensor, but able to read and capture my finger prints with high accuracy and no failure. Battery was holding good charge, around 80% to the original status, and screen was nearly clean. Another tip: with any used device, it could be a "refurbished" phone with a changed circuit board, camera, battery or screen etc; so water resistant rating becomes unreliable. Don't bet on it. Get a case good enough to save from a few seconds of dunk.I'll be using this for a few years. Fingers crossed! My next phone may be Galaxy Fold, or future Blackberry (if it ever comes out).

I'm not one of the people that have always been "Team One way (Samsung) or another (Iphone)", I've actually tried them both in depth. I had an IPhone for q pretty long while. I had the 4, 5, and 6(plus a s model in between there somewhere) before I made the switch to Samsung. Everytime I got an upgrade I'd go for the new IPhone that had been released until I started realizing that I was supposed to be "upgrading", but my phone wasn't really changing. Every upgrade that I used, my phone may have had a different name and maybe been a little bigger, but essentially nothing was changing. With the iphone it was the same thing over and over again. Samsung beat the iPhone in the ground when it came to literally everything in my opinion. Samsung wasn't afraid to shake things up and try something new, where Apple always has stuck VERY close to the original iPhone. Granted some people may like that, but I'm not one of them. I particularly loved my Note 9 because of all the cool things I could do with it. The stylus let me write on any screen, the editing software it came with was great, and I loved the "Smart" app that is pre installed so I could attach my phone to anything in my house that would allow it. I can smart view my phone to myth (without wifi) so I can use my mobile data to watch movies if I want. Not to mention that you can still put an SD card in it so you don't have to buy "cloud" space all the time. Theres no contest when it comes to Samsung, its by far the best to me!

Stop or seek help because the next upgrade was already made and its going to be a huge price to pay. I have had a number of Samsung phones over the years and feel they set the standards in the industry. I used to root, maximize performance, complete customization, and compare phones but anymore I am fine with a stock user interface. I am in love with Samsung's AMOLED display. In my opinion there is nothing better. But the nerd in me still lives and I absolutely dislike bloatware. The Samsung U1 models have the least amount of bloatware running in the background without root. Not to mention the good ol snapdragon also. As for the 960 compared to others I don't see much of a difference in the performance department, but I have become a casual user so it is capable of more than what I need. I must say the DEX option is fun to play with but I haven't used it enough to ... MoreI have had a number of Samsung phones over the years and feel they set the standards in the industry. I got the Samsung Galaxy S21 for my birthday and it has been amazing. It has one of the most powerful smartphone chips on the world and has an amazing 2160p, 60hz AMOLED display. As a power user who uses their phone all day the battery has lasted me a day with about %20 left. The camera experience has been great to where I just take photos to flex my camera. It's super fast and is very customizable. I also used some money I won from a competition to buy a Galaxy Watch 3. It works great with my S21 and fits perfectly. To get the best experience on my Galaxy Watch I downloaded Samsung Email, SmartThings, Yelp, and Spotify. There are many times where I cannot use my phone and use my watch for Alarms, Reminders, Notifications, Replying to messages, Taking or declining ... MoreI got the Samsung Galaxy S21 for my birthday and it has been amazing. There are many times where I cannot use my phone and use my watch for Alarms, Reminders, Notifications, Replying to messages, Taking or declining calls, Tracking my health, Paying with my watch, Calculating math problems, using the stopwatch app to time myself for certain projects, Showing people photos, Viewing events (Birthdays), Voice recording notes, Check the weather, and searching the web. Whenever I leave my phone at home I go on spotify, pair by Galaxy buds+ and listen to my downloaded music and podcasts. The Galaxy Buds+ sound amazing and the touch controls are very helpful. Whenever I'm watching something and I have to do something I tap on my galaxy buds as I go to do what I gotta do. The major thing I love about the galaxy buds+ is how customizable they are on the app. They also pair to your Samsung instantaneously. I also changed my font to cool jazz on my Galaxy S21, and Galaxy Watch 3 which 8s super cool. I'm planning on getting a one of the Tab S6 models or the Tab S7 Models and a Galaxy book pro. The ecosystem is amazing how you can text and call from your phone, watch, tablet, and computer and how all the galaxy devices work really well with apps such as Microsoft and Spotify. I would recommend getting all these products as they work so well together.
I was extremely impressed with this refurbished Samsung Galaxy Note9 Smart phone! It arrived on time and was packaged securely. The phone arrived in pristine condition. It looked like a brand new!! I love the lavender color! The cable adapter works great, and does not overheat my Samsung Galaxy Note 9 smart phone. It took a while to charge, but I don't find this to be a major issue when I planned to buy a faster charging cable adapter. Nothing on the phone was broken or missing. It was easily activated by my carrier without any software or hardware issues. I was able to safely transfer all my info from my old phone to Note9 with no issues. As a matter of fact, when I took my Note9 smart phone to my carrier to be activated, they wanted me to trade it in for $875 ... MoreI was extremely impressed with this refurbished Samsung Galaxy Note9 Smart phone! I've owed my note 9 for 18 month's and never really had any problems with it. Only thing I'm upset about is updates for a phone not over 2 year's old. I'm more than happy to update every few year's as the note will last if it's looked after, my note 5 is still going to this day. I didn't update to the 20 because of price the fact there is no headphone jack among other thing's and battery is a big thing on a phone and it is just crazy they did a test on the 9 vs 20 ultra and the battery on the old note 9 out lasted the 20 by an hour and a half and it's a brand new phone so how would it go in another 2 year's after hard use? When your paying 2k for a phone you expect upgrades correct me if I'm wrong but to find out that a 2 year old not 9 last an extra 1 hour 47 ... MoreI've owed my note 9 for 18 month's and never really had any problems with it. When your paying 2k for a phone you expect upgrades correct me if I'm wrong but to find out that a 2 year old not 9 last an extra 1 hour 47 minutes compared to a brand new 20 ultra is scary to me, than investing in Bluetooth earbuds will set you back an extra 3 to 5 hundred for a good set and ive tested wired connection over Bluetooth and lossless flac I really noticed the difference so too bad if you have high quality wired connections that you would like to use because you simply can't anymore, I'm so surprised by all the people like myself that like having a jack and require it. Are sumsung listening to there customers because it dose not feel like it. 2 year's have passed and you want me to buy a phone that will not last along on day to day use. No headphone jack a huge big camera on the back that feels top heavy in hand. Ive looked at countless reviews with people saying the same thing I am right. How can you justify spending 2k on a phone that will not keep up with the abuse my note9 takes and lossing features I need in the process it's just crazy to me. If you sit on your phone watching movies or playing game's than you will like having a 120hz refresh but really how many of us use our phone to watch TV and movies like we would on our at home TV? I understand it makes the phone run alot smoother and thing's will load faster but how many of us out there use our phone as a day to day TV or laptop I ask? I have a TV with a 200hz refresh with q dot tech and my note 9 has Dolby atmos for my music. If I wanted to take advantage of watching high quality movies I'm simply not going to be doing it on a 7 inch screen? Isn't that why we have laptops and tablet's TV.And please don't even start me on the note 20 stock not the ultra because sumsung did no justice... 60 hz screen same as note 9, battery isn't good enough, it's a 1500 hundred dollar phone made completely of plastic apart from the metal sides! They couldn't make the fan edition of the s20 to much better for the price just no s pen is really the only difference and maybe just maybe a better phone at near half the price brand new it's so confusing what sumsung are doing and after all my hifi stuff is made by sumsung and I buy there products as I trust in the quality from past experiences... it's really troubling to be honest. And everyone is holding on to there note 8s there 9s because of all the reason I've mentioned above. Every second comment is someone saying ill be holding onto my device for another year or 2. I would hate to see the money they are loseing, the pushed people to but offering me 480 dollars for my note to buy a 20 ultra plus free earbuds and another 250 off for something else aswell which bought the price down to around $1350 which still wasn't enough for me to take a drop in battery performance among other thing's. I really hope sumsung start listening to there customer's otherwise I'm going to be switching something I never thought i would ever ever do...Wow glad I got that off my chest lol hope it helps someone... just my 2 cents. Stay safe.
I have always owned a Samsung Galaxy Note with my phone being the Note 20. At the suggestion of the T-Mobile employee I purchase the S22 Ultra as he advised it was the closest product to the Note. He was correct. It was a smooth transition from my Note 20 to my new S22 Ultra and I don't feel I'm missing anything. In addition to that, I am in love with all the new features. I have always said the high difference between an Android and an iPhone is the user friendliness of the Android product. This continues to remain true even after all these years and upgrades. Long live Android.
First off, the critically important things are all there and work flawlessly...calls, texting, navigation...what you will need most in an emergency. Every phone should be able to do these basic things with zero issue, and the S21 makes it about as reliable as it possibly could be.Non-critical features such as internet connectivity, audio and video quality, camera and user interface are also nearly perfect in their design and function. Simple things like the volume rocker and power button being on the same side instead of directly opposite (how often have you tried to adjust your volume only to accidently shut your phone off?). Visual quality is stunning, though I would expect nothing less from any new phone simply due to the size of the screen. Everything looks 4k ... MoreFirst off, the critically important things are all there and work flawlessly...calls, texting, navigation...what you will need most in an emergency. Visual quality is stunning, though I would expect nothing less from any new phone simply due to the size of the screen. Everything looks 4k when squeezed into a frame smaller then 10"! However, the sound quality is next level. Though there is only a speaker port on the bottom of the phone, there is also sound coming through the top as well. Whether there is a 2nd speaker or just a port to allow sound to travel through, it does create a unique stereo sound when watching streams while held in landscape mode. Then there is the camera. For 99% of us, our cell phone cameras are all we'll have need or want. The clarity and user options for both photo and video is amazing, however I didn't find the zoom or micro features to be significant...things are still blurry if too close or if attempting to zoom in too much. With that said, the night feature is jaw dropping. And that is an understatement. Taking a picture outside with nothing but moonlight or starlight, and the camera creates a realistic photo that looks like it was taking during the day. The colors are accurate and the details are crisp. Note that it doesn't work in total darkness, but even a bit of ambient light that our human eyes can't quite distinguish is enough for the camera to make magic.

else because I have the worst luck possible and life doesn’t seem to want to ever reward me.But let’s get to the review.Size/Weight: This phone fits well into my hands and doesn’t weigh too much at all, mine personally is the white edition and it overall it looks good but not great. The build quality definitely doesn’t feel like it’s the highest quality but it’s good.Overall this phone would fit the average adult or young adults hand comfortably and not be a burden to carry around.Screen quality: After using my phone for months I have to say the screen is decent once again probably nowhere near as nice as the + and ultra version at all but you get what you pay for.The colors are nice and text and everything is pretty clear. The brightness could be raised some nits but overall for the 799 I paid for it I’m disappointed in comparison to my my brothers Oneplus 9 that he got for a little bit less than I paid for the s21 5g.Software/Speed/Features: Bixby voice a trademark smart assistant is good and the phone overall is pretty good but I feel like I wasn’t getting the performance I expected for an S series device.Camera: The camera is Above average only because the Samsung Camera app has directors view which allows you to film and take pictures with the front and back camera or the wide angle camera at the exact same time, which is a feature I have always loved in a camera app isn’t old LG G2 had the same feature back in 2013.The camera has a 30 times zoom which is nifty but the pictures always turn out blurry and in now way shape or form clear on this phone.Misc: The Dolby atmos sound enhancement is great but I’m like 90 percent sure the phones hardware speakers don’t support Dolby atmos sound as my girlfriend has the oneplus 8 and her phone you can literally hear the audio coming from different directions and sometimes in front or behind you.But paired with a pair of Samsung buds and the sound really shines through and I love the the ability to choose between the audio settings.Smart features like Samsung’s wireless screen casting etc really help give the phone its actual value.I didn’t realize when I bought the phone that Samsung had changed to a low mid and high tier systems with their phones.I’ve owned 3 Samsung’s in the past the S3 S5 and Note 3 and I was extremely impressed with those devices during the time periods I owned them.I was hoping to get some of that high quality Samsung magic when I purchased the S21 but I feel a little let down and disappointed had I of realized that I would have to spend almost 400 dollars more to get the premium experience that I once equated with Samsung devices I would have chosen another brand. There are a lot of mid range phones out there at the same pricing as the lowest tier s21 and they compete excellently or above this phone in terms of the screen cameras and premium design. If your used to Samsung and are okay with an okay device go ahead and pick up the base s21 model. If unlike me you have the kind of money in these days and ages in a pandemic and aren’t a member of the club have nots like myself than you should pick up the Plus model or the Ultra if your looking for a high quality premium experience.Love the higher end Samsung products but unfortunately I’m probably going to buy somewhere else as I can’t afford the products I want from them that are I am quite sure, rather excellent. No hard feelings Samsung I really did want to love this phone.
