Great Android phone. Love Samsung they have never failed to impress. Great storage capacity love the camera easy access to social media to post my pics. Video quality is sharp. I would most definitely get another Samsung. Highly recommended to me and by me. Battery life is incredible never had a problem. Unfortunately the only annoying thing is that the viruses and malware. One has to be very vigilant with scanning your phone on a regular basis to ensure your security is up-to-date. Again never had any issues or concerns what so ever. I loved the phone so much I recommended the phone to other members of my direct family and extended family members and friends. Love love love love

I have owned this cellphone for years and haven't had any issues with it. I purchased a protective case and screen protector because I am clumsy at times and tend to drop my phone. The screen has not chipped or anything. I love my Samsung Galaxy phone. I would definitely choose android over apple any day of the week. It is easy to operate and I love the quality overall. My only issue since owning this for many years is the battery life isn't as good as when I had it the first couple of years. Also it tends to overheat if I am playing a game on it. Besides that, I would buy this phone again for sure. My next purchase will be the newest edition out.

My first Samsung phone after owning several iPhones. The Samsung Galaxy S9 is superior to all of the iPhones I've had. I've owned this Samsung phone since 2018 and it is still well and running in 2022 (almost 2023). I love the fact that it has Microsoft Office preinstalled. This phone has been super useful for me while I was in University due to being able to make last minute Word document modifications prior to handing in an assignment or project online/when I did not have my laptop handy. It's also excellent for opening up all sorts of Microsoft Office and PDF files, which does not always work with iPhones. I must say that it has slightly slowed down over the years but that it is still running quick and smothly. The camera is not the best. People also cannot hear me well when I put them on speakphone. Despite this, 10/10 recommend and will not switch back to iPhone.

Holy Shxt, this is the best phone I’ve ever owned. I dropped my phone near Ghirardelli Square in San Francisco around 6:30 at night, and hadn’t realized until I was already 30 min away. My girlfriend and I were stopped in a highway blockage on the way back because some guy improperly strapped his wooden furniture, the furniture falls off the back of the truck and wooden pieces go across the entire highway. We wait for about 20 min for the highway to clear. We get back to Ghirardelli Square snd I start trying to locate my phone by calling it and I doesn’t even go to voicemail, all it says is, “this wireless customer can not be reached. We look around the beach, park and parking lot and its nowhere to be seen. I try to locate it with Google find phone, and after about 10 minutes of trying to find the map that shows the location of my phone I finally find it. I see it on the map in the San Francisco Bay. My gf and I run over and look out into the water to see if we can find anything and she spots a faint light coming from the ocean. I dropped it in the sand and the waves carried it out 10-15 feet and into about 4-5 foot deep water. I take off my clothes and rush out to get it. As I pick it up, I feel it halfway submerged into the sand floor, sand running down my arms and hands as I hoist my phone out of the water. I run quickly back to shore and start rapidly drying it. I rinsed it off so I don’t get salt corrosion but it was submerged under the ocean, in the sand for about a total time of hour and half. As of right now (12:27 am the time I wrote this) the phones seems to have no problems at all. My favorite phone ever

I LOVE MY SAMSUNG!

I bought this phone when it first came out. It is now November 13th of 2022 and it still works like the day I bought it. I'm a truck driver that hauling hazardous materials in a tanker. I have to climb tanks, work with tools and machinery. I am not your average truck driver. I have dropped this phone way more than any other phone user. I have literally dropped it from the second story and didn't have a crack. I have never used an OtterBox on it. All I have is a couple of cracks on the back of the phone my screen is still impeccable. I've literally sat on it in my back pocket for more than 9 hours straight. Never bent the screen. Use this phone to take videos and pictures of my nephews graduation over the past summer and I was able to zoom into his face while he was at least a football field away from me and I had iPhone users behind me asking me what phone I had. And then was told I was showing off 😂. My husband has upgraded from his S9 plus three times now and my phone is still going. Yes I may have to transfer my photos and videos over to my computer to give me space. But what can I say I'm a loving mom that takes a lot of videos and photos of my kids. Not the phone's fault. I truly love this phone and have no intentions of giving it up until it gives up on me. Samsung if you make another phone that is as durable as my Galaxy S9 Plus maybe I'll upgrade. Till then I love this phone until it dies on me. I LOVE MY SAMSUNG!!

Insane Survivability!

I bought my S9+ about four years ago and it was my daily driver until may of 2022. My idea and purpose when buying the phone was to use it until It couldn't 'phone' anymore. Little did I know what I was getting into. I always had a case on my phone and used a screen protector for the first 2 years as well. Once it hit year three I was very ready to upgrade with all the amazing new products on the market, but my s9+ was not done yet. It had a small crack in a corner at year three and I took the screen protector off and switched to a more stylish but less protective case to hopefully shorten its lifespan so I could get a new phone. About a month after that, I dropped it and with the bad case, shattered the back glass completely, glass falling out bad. About a month after that, I dropped it and with the bad case, shattered the back glass completely, glass falling out bad. But the phone kept on going, the wireless charging even worked better! Shortly after that, a stray airsoft pellet spider cracked my entire front screen leaving a dime sized dead pixel 'hole' and the glass was chipping off on the edges.Unfortunately at that time I did not have the funds for a new device so I waited and hoped poor s9+ would survive. That phone lasted 5 months of college life with a destroyed, but still completely functional screen. I could even touch the dead spot ti push buttons even if I couldn't see them.TL,DR: I almost tried to break my phone and norther what happened it kept going.I have now upgraded to the ZFlip 3 5G, have had it for a month and love it so far.Keep up the amazing product quality Samsung!

Is this phone really obsolete?
1 December 2022

The Galaxy S9+ is a phone meant for the enthusiast, or high profile business man. It has more settings and functions than someone can shake a stick at, and its ultra snappy responses to launching apps and typing, loading pretty much anything; all but guarantees this phone is the best of the best. Extremely high screen resolution and an AMOLED display makes it future proof for 4k videos. The included headphone jack is a godsend. The internal DAC (Digital to Analog Converter for audio) is phenomenal for a phone. And the sheer amount of customization possibilities makes it a phone for everyone's mood or vibe. Very strong wifi performance and Bluetooth is flawless. All in all and at the end of the day, the Galaxy S9+ is most definitely worth it this coming year of 2023, only being outmatched by it's successors from Samsung, and Apple. It's most definitely not obsolete despite it's lack of Android 12 or 13 support. Android 10 is just fine with a phone that is this reliable and smooth to use. Highly recommended.

Long Lasting and Durable Phone
20 October 2022

I've had my Galaxy S9+ for about 5 or so years now. It works the same as the day I got it and I have no issues with it slowing down on me. I've also dropped it so many times and had no issues with the screen or performance. It's a solid device that's great for someone who wants their money to go a long way. It also has excellent customization features and so many useful and cool tools! Two of my favorite features would be sharing data through touching two phones together or silencing a call by turning your phone over.It does have so many features and tools that I haven't even used, so I can't say too much about that, but I'm not complaining! It's truly an amazing tool all on it's own!

Lots of good features
31 August 2023

It took a few days to get used to a different brand of phone. Once I figured out how everything works, I've really enjoyed using it. The screen is large, which was one of the things I wanted. The phone has lots of convenient features, including a notification sound when a new text, email, etc is received even if the screen is off. The camera is fine for the way I use it, which isn't taking professional pics. The main drawback is all the "bloatware" the phone is loaded with. Samsung is notorious for doing this. I've disabled apps, etc as much as I could, but the battery still goes down fairly quickly. That's the only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5. Otherwise I'm very pleased with the phone.

Truly Excellent

When I placed the order I didn’t have much expectation, first time bought a refurbished mobile. Gift for my brother, lost his favourite s9+ on his posting. When I received the mobile I couldn’t believe my own eyes - It looked completely new, not a single scratch, all sensors are working, I mean the only way you can say it’s old because you might know the release date of s9+, that’s it, no other way to tell it’s old. Battery is working fine still now, it’s been only 2 days. I like to see its performance after 1 year. I will update my review if anything happens to the mobile within 1 year. I’m impressed by Canadian Gadget. You did an awesome job, Thank you.
