This was the second puzzle I sent my sister for her birthday. The first was claimed by her youngest and finished in record time. Though she hasn't started this one yet, her first comments were about the high quality of both the picture and the stock. Also, she was very pleased that it was virtually dust-free.

This is not an easy puzzle for just 500 pieces, but it was very enjoyable. Galison is one of my favorite puzzle makers because of the quality of the pictures and the way pieces fit together. I also appreciate that extra “poster” of the puzzle that comes with it so you have the box cover and the poster to work from. The artichokes and other veggies were challenging but fun to put together. It took some time to figure out how to approach the puzzle but once we did, we really enjoyed it. I’ve been posting our puzzles on Facebook and Instagram as we complete them and I got a lot of comments about how unusual and attractive this particular one was.

While not a terribly difficult puzzle, it is a step up in difficulty from many of the Galison 500s, so if you find some of them too easy, this might be just right for you. It has the high quality construction of all the Galison puzzles; pieces are not "accidentally interchangeable" and are a nice size and thickness. This picture is nice and crisp. It provided a fun evening of puzzling for us.
I loved the end product but there were moments I wanted to tear my hair out. Such a feeling of accomplishment to finish.I was surprised that this was rated a medium level of difficulty. I have done dozens and I would have placed this one as difficult. It was such a beautiful puzzle when finished.
This was a difficult puzzle for being only 500 pieces. Not only was I busy putting this puzzle together but I was also busy putting swear words together to make new swear words. LOL! Great fun, though! I did flip it the bird when I was done. lolololol
But worth it! Perfectly cut pieces that are synonymous with Galison! Great quality with vibrant colors. This one required a little more focus because you had to be a little more discerning with this image. If you're looking for an enjoyable puzzle, that is the challenge a smidge, give this one a try!
This is a nice puzzle. It also is a bit more challenging than it seems. I am only giving 4 stars, though, because all the pieces are the same basic shape though the dimensions are somewhat different. Also the fit is a bit loose. Still, it is attractive and it was fun to put together.

I was surprised to find this puzzle was a little more challenging, but nonetheless fun, than I thought especially when it came to the artichokes. The artichoke pieces were a bit difficult to decipher and so, I did that part last and relied on little clues from the puzzle edges. The quality of the imagery is very good. What was disappointing was the excessive amount of puzzle dust which I was surprised to discover since other reviews for this puzzle had the opposite issue. Recently completed this puzzle after putting off based on expected difficulty. It is a challenging puzzle but really worth the effort. Beautiful finished product! Challenging but reasonable in effort required. I completed 90% of the puzzle alone with my husband coming in for the final burst. Very, very satisfying. I'd give it a 10!
