$35.76

(84 reviews)

Galt's exciting Super Marble Run is super fun for the whole family. Kids will enjoy creating and re-creating fascinating marble runs and parents may even want to get in on the act. The 60 pieces slot together set includes nine chutes, nine curves, 24 tubes, six bases, a staircase, rotary drop, paddle wheel, roundabout and eight marbles. The marbles will disappear inside the columns, roll down the chutes, through the paddle wheel and around the roundabout. Marble runs aid child development in a number of ways. Building a marble run encourages children to use their imaginations and problem solving skills. To construct the marble run, they use both fine motor skills and logical and sequential thinking. Galt toys are designed to meet each stage of a child's development and encourage learning through play. Galt began as a schoolbook seller in 1836 and is a brand leader in quality developmental and creative products for children.

Bought as a present at the last minute as a 'Fairy wish' - what a good buy. She absolutely loves it. Just wish there were more building bricks included to get everything working at once, but really good toy that lets her investigate/build/develop her skills in creating more creative runs. And Dad likes it too.

A fun toy that spans the generations

I bought this for my grand-daughter at the suggestion of my son - he & his sister had loved the one they'd had as kids. The idea's very simple - you construct different 3D mazes with the parts provided & then put marbles in at the top. They run down in different ways, going through wheels, around bends & down drops on the way. My grand-daughter's favourite bit is the large shallow funnel which they go round for ages before dropping through the hole in the middle. So hours of endless fun - & at a very reasonable price, especially as it's good quality plastic, so unlikely to get broken.

Bought for my 2 year old to play with when at Granpas house under supervision. An absolute winner and will be used for many years when she can consTrust the maze herself. In the mean time Great entertainment for Grandpa,! Well constructed and sturdy, worth the extra

Great Fun
20 January 2017

I purchased this for a nine year old as it was something she asked for. I was a little concerned it might be a bit too young for her but she has played with it a lot since Christmas. I would say if your child loves marbles and building this is a really good buy. Keeps her entertained for hours. Bought this when it was on special offer so it was well worth the money,

Hours fun and not too flimsy
8 September 2016

I have enjoyed building with this with my 5 year old grandson. He can make smaller structures by himself. Our 10 year old neighbour has also enjoyed building larger runs. Seems well made and as sturdy as you can expect when building tall towers. The diagrams were a little tricky to follow but not impossible. I would say this is the right size for a starter kit, I wouldn't want any smaller except perhaps for a younger child.

Hours of entertainment for parents and children
28 December 2016

This is a lovely toy. Bought it for our 2 1/2 year old (she's not one to put marbles in her mouth). She loves it, needs a bit of help still constructing a structure that stands up as we make our own runs up rather than copying those in the pictures. Mum and Dad have a lot of fun putting the marbles through too and letting them have races. Highly recommend. Also it has enough pieces to keep us entertained, although it can be mixed with other Galt sets I think there are plenty enough pieces for now at least to create a whole range of runs and it doesn't need to be any more extensive.

Hours of fun!
16 January 2018

Best Christmas present ever! My niece absolutely loved this...she wanted to play with this all day Christmas Day, Boxing Day and the day for after. My sister still sends me videos of her playing with it weeks later. Easy to assemble, countless possibilities and great to store away as the pieces all fit nicely back in the box! Should have bought two so she had double the fun! Haha

Marble Run
13 November 2016

Certainly the best product and best price around at the entertainer, used by both my 3 and 10 year old with equal amounts of enjoyment (sometimes not when used together) they can follow the pictures on the outside of the box so they know what "pieces" to put where albeit the colours are not always the same. Could do with "more pieces" or certainly an option to buy additional pieces so that it can all be used at once. All in all the best marble run for the price. Sturdy enough to handle the odd "accidental" knock from another sibling dashing by. Best around by far!

Perfect gift for a little boy- and his dad
4 January 2018

Bought two of these as Christmas presents for grandchildren aged 3 and 4yrs old. Both boys loved the toy and loved their dad making it with them- played with it for hours after as both boys mad about marbles. I shopped around and found the Galt make the most value for money as very well made, brightly coloured and has a variety of components to keep the attention. Bought whilst it was on offer so was very pleased with purchase.
