I think this is a good game overall. I've been playing this since I was very young and the replayability is very good. You get to play as all the kirby characters by unlocking them. I think the bosses tend to be very hard but once you figure out the pattern you can persevere. Certain characters have different abilities like King Dedede has his hammer ability.

This game is unique in its gameplay and has charming visuals and gameplay. It's awkward to get use to, but a ton of fun to play.

Initially, I bought this game as a gift for my boyfriend. Instead I took it for a test drive for about one week, then sadly gave it back. Though I hadn't finished the game, I found even at Level 2 challenging myself. I have recently completed 100% of Squeak Squad, which though more complex-- was similar to other Kirby games in the past. This one brightens up the usual game playing by incorporating the stylus. The new manner in Canvas Curse, which Kirby transports through the levels is fun, challenging, and exciting. Using abilities is taking me some getting used to but otherwise the levels are new environments to explore and I completely recommend buying this game.
a very innovative game that uses the touch screen to great usage, above most titles. It can seem somewhat boring since you ONLY use the stylus, and it doesn't have as much action as the GBA titles, but it's a clever idea, nonetheless.
I found Kirby Canvas Curse to be an above average platforming experience for the Nintendo DS hand held. The game's strengths lie in the fact that it is a new experience and changes up the typical platforming formula. The entire game is stylus controlled, using it to draw lines for Kirby to ride on or quickly tap enemies to stun them. Kirby takes on the form of a ball (transformed by an evil witch at the beginning of the game) and so loses pretty much everything that makes him Kirby. It feels like the idea of this game really just used the Kirby franchise to pull in additional fans, as the gameplay is probably better suited for an original IP rather than our pink fluffy hero. Overall, I think this is a good platforming experience, but one that bears little resemblence to the Kirby games of old. If you are an old school Kirby fan, this may not be what you are looking for. If you just love innovative platformers, then this is for you.
I bought this game that I have wanted to play since childhood, but was highly disappointed. Story mode is short and only covers about thirty percent of the game's completion, the rest of the game is annoying and unnecessary challenges that serve as filler. The touch-screen controls don't work correctly twenty percent of the time. This is one of the worst Kirby games I have played. If you're looking for a Kirby game for the Nitendo DS, I would suggest Super star Ultra, Squeak Squad, or Mass Attack. I would also suggest avoiding the game's sequel for the Wii U as well.
Any avid Kirby fan should surley pick this hit up. Kirby's debut on the DS didn't fall short of any expectations, and provides a challenge for the hardcore gamer. Using the stylus, you guide Kirby in his ball form throughout the many different levels and stages. Play the 3 different minigames, earn all the coins, and unlock the many characters. With the quirky, colorful graphics, it's a treat to just look at it, not to mention the variety of music to listen to. If you like Kirby, and you have a DS, this is certaintly a game for you, buy it now!
Canvas Curse is wonderful. The way you movr Kirby around and interact with the environment is fun. The stylus draws a rainbow line that Kirby can roll on. Also the rainbow lines can protect Kirby from enemies and projectiles. But even without his floating ability Canvas Curse is a wonderful Kirby game.
Im happy with DKoldies service. The game works.
