Gamegenic Games Lair 600+ Blue

Did plenty of research on the 600+ and it does not disappoint. Very strong magnetic closure that can be removed and put on the bottom to save room or even become a dice tray. Drawers can hold dice, double sleeved decks plus tokens and space left for extra cards like a sideboard. This isn't too big but efficiently provides plenty of space.

I've bought two of these so far. First, the Lair can hold a fully double-sleeved MTG cube that is larger than the typical minimal-sized cube, and this includes fully sleeved tokens, rules cards, and whatever weird nonsense you might include. I have some highly customized cubes needing various extraneous materials beyond the cube cards, the lands, dice, and counters as usual -- and all that stuff fits in as well. The fold-up dice you can make out of the lid actually works, by the way; you can also just flip it upside down and attach it to the unit's bottom to keep it out of the way without increasing the table footprint of the box.If you *only* need to store cards, there is a top tray that is larger than card-size, plus a pull-out tray that is larger, but you can ... MoreI've bought two of these so far. Those can hold note pads, dice, and etc., though, included bagged dice (if the bad isn't stuffed). and double-sized cards, etc. The divider in the main compartment can split it evenly, split it by one-third and two-thirds, or be removed. You can thus fit deck boxes in there, etc. On the go, you can load a lot of TCG stuff in there with room left over for a small pick-up game or two -- handy.You can also put a load of decks and accessories in here to make a constructed deck battle box, or use it for tradeable storage. You can easily fit loads of toploaders in this, and you can fit graded cards. It's not the primary idea, but they'll fit without getting knackered.Notably, you can ignore the CCG thing entirely and use this to store a full set of, say, card games with expansions (including, potentially, all the rules inserts and etc.) -- imagine the load of cards, rules inserts, and maybe dice and other swag you might have if you have a load of Chez Geek or Munchkin cards, or some "living" card games, or so on. You could also use this to store a load of those smaller card games in tuck boxes in one place with a full set of dice, score pads, or whatever other flotsam you might want for one-stop playing. (This is what I'm doing with one of mine.)

If you've got a lot of miscellaneous items such as extra sleeves, tokens, dice, or counters, this is a great box for both storage and portability in one package. It is, however, not the greatest if you only want to hold cards. It can take a few deck boxes, but not as much as other similarly sized options designed specifically for holding cards or deck boxes. The lid is also magnificent with the magnets and the ability to turn into a dice tray or even just a tray for holding things while on your table.If it matches your needs, it's fantastic, but do consider what you need before you buy.
