Bought for my husband to replace some of his old worn out boxer briefs. Took a chance as he generally wears Hanes. He said they are very comfortable and fit true to size. Like the basic color options.

I'm usually a huge fan of GAP and Banana Republic quality, but this purchase was a major let down. These boxers completely unraveled at the seems after the first wash. I thought perhaps I just bought a bad batch and went ahead and purchased another set, which promptly fell apart after washing as well. It is not my washer either, as my washer is brand new and nothing else has fallen apart in it. Super disappointing purchase. I hope they investigate as I've now had two sets fall apart in the wash.

At first I raved about these. Bought several and found them comfortable and snug as needed. Now after not that many wears, they're still soft and comfortable, but LOSING their SHAPE. For me, the point of not wearing boxers is more support, but these are sagging and loosening to be like boxers, which defeats the purpose. Yes, there are fitness brands with tighter options, however, boxer briefs should do the job as well. Won't buy again.

I used to wear Gap Boxer briefs for years then switch to other brand like Calvin Klein, 2xist, Banana Republic, etc. One of the reasons for the switch was my attitude towards underwear and which ones feels right on me. Second reason was that GAP stop making some of the colors and designs that I enjoyed. I'am 5'8 and around 170 pounds now and for the last year have been working out and toning my body and building muscle. So what that said I wanted to try GAP again. Now I only wear either Calvin Klein or Banana Republic boxer briefs, CK boxers or Gap boxers. But the problem that I was having was looking for a good pair of trunks that had good wear and kept its shape. So with that said I look on the GAP website and read the reviews for the trunks. But the problem that I was having was looking for a good pair of trunks that had good wear and kept its shape. So with that said I look on the GAP website and read the reviews for the trunks. At first I was skeptical due to some of the reviews, so I went to my local GAP and decided to give the trunks a try and additionally they were on sale which was great as well. I wore them first before washing just to make sure that the size I picked was right. I must say that the large was the perfect size, before I would wear a medium, but after a couple of washes they would become tight around my junk. It looks like to me that GAP might of have resize their boxer briefs and trunk, or if not the large gives you a enough room even after a wash. They are comfortable, ample room for my junk and feels like you are not wearing anything at all. Furthermore, some of the reviews were not happy that GAP removed the front fly, but for me I don't mind pulling out my stuff from the front. I know before on the boxer briefs I wouldnever use the front fly due to it being small in design. These are perfect, and I think Ifound the trunks I was looking for and can't wait to buy more trunks in different colors and style to complete my sophisticated underwear wardrobe.
Bought this several times for my husband and he likes the fit. It has great quality. The material stay in shape does not shrink despite frequent washes. Highly recommend!
For years, I wore trunks made by that famous designer, whose name appeared on the waistband - his first name starts with the third letter of the alphabet. When I recently went to replace them, I found the latest version was tissue thin - weak support and little durability. What to do? I tried various brands and finally bought GAP, hoping they'd be better than the ones I bought from GAP years ago, which did not last long.Yes! These rule. Incredibly comfortable. No advertising on your underwear in the form of conspicuous brand name. Really supportive.Caveat: I don't know how well they'll wear - maybe they won't last long. If not, I won't be pleased, but I'll live with it because in the present, they're great, plus, when bought during a sale, are really ... Apply this approach to everything you sell.
The pack was a weird combination. The white one fits pretty tight around the legs; kind of feels like the wrong size. In addition, the black ones are longer than the rest; like if they packaged a "brief" in the "brief trunk" pack.
I previously purchased these briefs and they were excellent. My most recent purchase of these briefs was a disappointment. The material is much thinner and they do not seem to have the same stretchiness as before.
I'm not a large person (5'9" 168) and have a 32" waist, but these are so tight I'm afraid to keep them as they'll get even smaller after a washing. They feel like a size 30 vs a 32, so can't imagine how they would fit someone with a 34" waist. Going to try the next size up, but guessing those won't work either.
I bought a pack of these Gap boxer briefs in white. They were well made, comfortable, but had one glaring flaw. There is no fly as is customary on mens' underwear. I understand for some weird reason, Gap does not make them with a fly. Too bad as I liked them otherwise but will be buying no more.
