Absolute garbage. Seeded these 3 months ago. Watered it daily. Was good until the hot weather came a few weeks ago. Now it's all dead. This is not drought resistant and cannot tolerate the qld sun. Buy at your own risk. I wasted $300 plus dollars and precious time of watering. You have been warned.

In Mid/late September I intentionally plus heavily poisoned my lawn including the established grass runners as the weed infestation had grown under them and above and spread to all parts of my front yard. 2 wks later and l started to introduce water for the first 3 days [ 20 minutes each afternoon for 4 days straight] to start the rejuvenation process. First, l aerated with $10 shoe's walking all over then allowed 3 boxes of seed to cover the area. Constant watering for 20 minutes p/day seen results on approx day 9. After day 18 l introduced a slow release fertilizer for 'New lawns' plus to also boost the new lawn roots underneath. Now in late November and soon to introduce and slow release organic fertiliser to broaden the blades l am the envy of all my neighbours

Although the label states a nice blend of seeds, the reality is, it's full of annual rye grass. Highly doubtful there's any couch in there. As soon as the summer hit, even with a deep watering a couple times a week, it just dies. This is because it's 100% Annual rye.I have nosy neighbours(watch me mow etc), that are into their lawn, so this has been embarrassing.

My elderly neighbour bought this product to use on our communal lawn area where dogs play (to both our joy) and it did not clearly label safe for use around pets or have safety directions with the product. You had to go online to see them. My neighbour has only just got a phone let alone know how to look something up on the I internet. So inaccessible to some! How is this product approved for sale with no clear safety instructions.
Racked soil and sprinkled the seeds on top then slightly racked again to make most seeds covered by soil. Did this on 1st May, germinated in day 4. Now the picture show 8 days later. Already can see some lush. Before had bought blue coated expensive seeds even no germinating. Very happy on this $7bucks seeds. Attached before and after photos here.
I bought this to seed my front and back lawns. It germinated, quickly, and appeared to be producing a nice, lush, lawn. However, after a few months, and with the onset of summer, it slowly died, despite regular and careful watering and fertilising. I can only presume that it primarily contains annual rye grass (which dies in summer) and not much else. Nothing (like perennial rye grass) took its place. So a waste of time, effort, water and expense. Soul destroying! Try another, more reliable, grass seed blend. You get what you pay for!
I bought this seed to give it a go not expecting to much for the price. It germinated really well. You’ll need a lot more than the recommended amount on the box for lush grass. I used a pinch fork to break up the compacted soil and seasol to help grow strong roots. Great product
I have grown lawns all my life. I am 71 now. I planted this as all other lawn seeds. Prepare sprinkle and cover. Not one blade of grass came up. Zero growth. Why? It was supposed to be an all round grass for different seasons.
Terrible seed. Full of rye. Used a lot of seed to try and establish a new lawn, 5 months later still patchy, full of rye, no creepers to fill in the spaces. Planted on organic loam. Gets sufficient water and still browning.
I spent a lot of time and money preparing the soil in my council verge and using lawn topper and fertiliser to grow this grass. I was blown away by how fast it grew in September and was so lush and green, it needed cutting twice a week!Unfortunately wherever it gets stepped on it struggles and then dies, making it patchy. It was going okay other than the dead patches until the end of November when we had 2 hot days. These seeds are in no way hardy and tolerant to heat, I watered it the night of going away for 3 days, and when I got back there was mass dying off and by Christmas all that remained was some green edging, it's all dead and looks like hay. Now I'm left with a mess to dig up and at square one with a scrappy verge.
