A Prenatal Vitamin Worth Taking

This product is really great! As an expectant mother, finding a prenatal vitamin that doesn't upset my stomach is a game-changer. Garden of Life Vitamin Code Raw Prenatal is easy to digest and doesn't cause any discomfort. The only downside is the lack of variety in flavors and the price could be a bit more affordable. But overall, I highly recommend this product to any mom-to-be looking for a high-quality prenatal vitamin that won't cause any digestive issues!

Quality of these vitamins exceed many others that I have tried. The size of these pills are a standard larger size, not too difficult to swallow and no taste. It is packaged in dark glass, which I prefer. Taking three daily is a challenge for me, and I wish they would improve that detail. To me, aside from 3 capsules necessary, I wish they would add in ginger. I have had a vitamin from New Chapter and it is really a huge help for morning sickness to have ginger in there. Not just a small amount of ginger root. Other than that, satisfied with the purchase.

I am never one to jump on to write reviews, except when they truly are great. As soon as I found out I was pregnant I order what my research concluded to be the best prenatal vitamins out there. So much rave so much hype. I got them and started to take them and soon saw how it would be impossible to do a full serving. There were too many pills and zero iron. I was exhausted and nauseous. I decided I needed a better prenatal vitamin. Stopping my old prenatal vitamins and taking these instead changed my world with in a week. I was less exhausted and never nauseous from taking the pills. I knew exactly what I was taking and it allowed me to have a peace of mind.

Excellent!

This is my 2nd bottle. I like GOL products. Chose this one out of the others on market because it provides amounts of vitamins closer to the recommended daily allowance so I don't feel like self-poisoning. I previously took vitamins with 1000s of % of the RDA for vitamin B and felt queasy and sick after but no such feeling with this. It also includes folate which is important for women planning pregnancy. The only downside is the dosage is one tablet three times daily and it may be easy to forget to take this three times a day.

Excellent! No Nausea.
20 July 2022

I purchased 2 big bottles of these for my daughter, who was taking a once daily prenatal vitamin that always made her nauseous, many times even when taken in the middle of a meal. She is in her third trimester. I asked her to take her first one of these on an empty stomach, just to prove that this product would not do that to her. I had confidence in this product, because I heard the CEO of Garden of Life talk about his products. It does not upset her stomach!

Excellent! Yes. Buy.

Each prenatal I took I threw up. They were gross and horrible. The quality of everything from this brand and it being sourced from actual whole organic foods is a game changer. I didn’t throw these up once and finally was able to get my energy back because I needed the vitamins in my pregnancy. The ingredients are all organic. I use 2-3 pills daily. It’s super potent.I recommend as a hack for people who are struggling to take prenatal sin their pregnancy… I open the pills and put in a fruit smoothie each morning and I also add flax seed crushed and some chia and hemp seeds and after 3 days of having a smoothie daily my energy levels and state of happiness totally changed in the 4th month. It’s a must.

Highly Disappointed!!!!
13 August 2022

I took these Prenatal a whole month before TTC. Luckily, I only took 27 pills. Thinking I was doing justice to my body, I am now disappointed. I used Vitex and this supplement only and low and behold 8dpo I got a BFP! But the moment my HCG level began to rise, it became more difficult for me to stomach Vitamin Code Prenatal. It got to the point where I literally was gagging each time, I opened the top or tried to take the pill. My body literally rejected the pill, and I couldn't take it anymore. I started to get horrible acne and my lips became unbearably dry. I don't know what is in them but it's a "NO" for me. I have begun taking Ancient Nutrition Prenatal and feel wonderful. No nausea, no smell, no dry lips, no acne, and no symptoms yet! I hope that these ... MoreI took these Prenatal a whole month before TTC. Luckily, I only took 27 pills. For a Prenatal to have me feeling like this, is just horrible!

undesignated synthetic vitamins
3 July 2022

I bought a lot of this for my wife during her prenatal. Yet my son is born autistic. I spent the last 6 years since then trying to help him and to figure out what happened. Today I saw a review in the internet: "uses undesignated synthetic vitamins fed to yeast plus a broth to reach levels of different vitamins and minerals. I think this process is deceiving to the customer and there is no evidence that there is an advantage in regards to digestion, metabolism, and utilization." (from the Healthbeat)I rechecked the labelling and realized indeed they never mention the actual form of vitamin/minerals, only the generic/standard terminology. To say I'm outraged is an understatement. I spend exorbitant money thinking I'm getting good quality supplement for my wife and ... MoreI bought a lot of this for my wife during her prenatal.
