The delivery was great. They called before arriving. The delivery guys were friendly and was nice enough to moved it into my living room. The installation was easy and I was able to assemble by myself. The shed turned out just as I expected. Spacious inside and very sturdy with the steel reinforcement on the inside.

This shed is so beautiful. My father and I put it together in about 5 hours. Instructions were very easy to follow. The only problem is I have trouble closing the doors. They stick at the bottom and I have to use my foot to push them closed.

Assembled the Suncast shed today. The design and engineering really are amazing. It fits together so nicely and easily. And with very limited amount of tools. If you are considering one, and concerned if you can assemble it, don't be. This one is for additional storage for a church kitchen and we are already planning on purchasing another one for our Learning Center. And with Wayfair having the best price and picking up the shipping, we will be ordering from them again.

This shed was a great buy for us. Believe me, it looks great. Came promptly, all pieces were there, and putting it together was so easy. I helped my husband, and I only steadied the pieces as he screwed everything together. It snapped into place perfectly. We built the floor foundation ahead of time, made sure it was level and square. The building then went together like clockwork. Not counting the floor, or time to inventory the parts. The whole process took us under 5 hours. Great little shed for our needs.
Let me start by saying that we love the way the shed looks. It's definitely a step above the typical resin sheds you see around. Now for the bad news...The marketing materials say it should take between three and four hours to assemble, but it took my husband and me closer to seven hours to put this thing together and we still haven't put the doors on!. The resin parts were marked clearly, but the hardware had numbers on the bags instead of the letters the directions refer to, all of the bolts were too long and had stop nuts for some reason, which meant we had to make a trip to the hardware store to buy the proper nuts and bolts. For some reason there are many extra holes in the parts, for screws that are not actually required and the roof did not "slide on" ... MoreLet me start by saying that we love the way the shed looks. For some reason there are many extra holes in the parts, for screws that are not actually required and the roof did not "slide on" smoothly AT ALL, we had to wrestle it into place. Worst of all there are plastic tabs on the bottoms of the side panels that would NOT snap into place no matter how many different ways we tried to get them to do so. We'll have to calk a number of places where there are gaps or we will have mice in our shed for sure. Just an FYI - we gave up on trying to decipher the written directions and watched a number of helpful videos on line - but in ALL of them (except the one made by Suncast) there are warnings about poor and inaccurate directions. There's an option to have the shed professionally assembled, but the cost was almost as high as the shed itself. Might be worth considering if you can afford it.
I love the shed and it is serving the purpose, one recommendation is to think about accessories you may want and compare the price with accessories to other products. This shed is holding up well and the build quality is good. I put it on a custom platform to level the floor and it is very sturdy.
Overall it was a difficult thing to build. More often than not, it requires a second person to help install the shed by either pushing from the other side or help holding the panel in place while you screw in the thousands of screws. This took me about 6 hours to put together.Get a decent electric drill and set to the lowest torque setting or a manual speed handle. It'll help your wrists in the long run. There was no way I could end up using a screwdriver and it would be difficult for anyone because there are alot of screws to screw in.Had some issues with the panels not lining up correctly and it could possibly do something with the injection molding of the materials/tolerancing. Was difficult to install and required extra manipulation with the help of another person on the other side of the wall more than a few times. The metal framing in the unit extends from the walls to the roof. The floor has no metal bracing or extra holding power. The shed relies on the walls locking into the flooring to stay. Just an observation and thought that would feel more comfortable if the metal framing somehow tied into a floor brace with the unit. This would also help if using lag bolts to securing the flooring down. Luckily I don't live in an area where there is alot of wind. The only other issue was putting the roof bracing on. The main support bar mad it difficult to screw into especially since the holes there were not threaded. This took extra time in trying to put the shed together. She shed does leak. I'm waiting for more torrential showers to see but from a constant shower the shed leaks. Mostly it'll leak from the cracks from where the paneling meets up together and the water will trickle down the wall. The other are where the windows are. It doesn't seem there's enough points on the window to seal the window completely from the elements. If there is rain that comes sideways there will definitely be more water coming through the window. The improvement with this is that there needs to be more locations to drill into around the window to create a better seal. The thought was there to seal because the seal they include is decent but with the variation in the injection molding of the material and not enough torque points, the window bows a little which leaves a gap between the seal and the wall. If you store anything in here, keep it off the walls and elevated with a shelf.Don't expect to keep anything secured in this shed. If someone wants in they can get in by either prying the lock off because there is only plastic or to just popping off the door hinge. If you are looking for something more secure I'd look else where. If you're looking for a quick shed to put up to store some things then this would do. It looks nice but was a bit of a pain to put together.
Very easy to put together in approx. 3-4 hours. We cut some screen material to size and used spray adhesive to cover the vents so wasps, etc. can't get in. I really love the amount of space provided for a 36"x24"x72" shelving; all our garden tools; a couple of totes; we even managed to fold up our bike trailer and hang it on a side wall.
The shed looks great and holds our snow blower and bikes, with some other items. It took about 4 hrs to put together with 2 of us. We youtubed a video to see how to put together and followed directions that were provided. Overall I love this shed and it's perfect for our needs.
I assembled the Modernist shed last weekend and the assembly was pretty straighforward. The manual suggests that you need 2 people and I was able to do it by myself. If you don't own a power hex driver, I recommend that you use this opportunity to buy one as it'll make your life easier. The only difficult part of the assembly was getting the weather stripping installed into the window...just took time and patience. Entire build was approx 4 hours and I split it between an evening and morning. In general the shed looks very nice. A couple of the panels were slightly warped due to the way that Suncast stacked them in the box but most things straightened out during assembly. My fundamental issue with this shed is that it leaks. A couple of the panels were slightly warped due to the way that Suncast stacked them in the box but most things straightened out during assembly. My fundamental issue with this shed is that it leaks. All over the place. We had our first rain today and while the roof itself maintained a water seal, it was a proper Texas rainstorm and so rain hit the sides and face of the shed. All 4 of the windows leaked (even after I'd been VERY careful with their assembly) a little. The front door also leaked a little. When the rain slows down I'll be installing some weather stripping around the front. The worst part, though, was where the large side wall panels meet the roof and upper angled panels. Water ran out of those seams enough to puddle over half of the inside the shed. When I get the weather stripping, I'm also going to be buying several tubes of caulk. As best as I can tell, this should have been included in box. I'm hoping that does the trick because otherwise this was a total waste of time and money.
