Gardenia by Elizabeth Taylor Eau De Parfum Spray 100ml

I was at a garden center where I spotted a lovely plant called Gardenia Jasminoides which had the most intoxicating scent to it. I didn't pick it up because it is a bit of a diva, the buds fall off if it doesn't get just the right conditions. But I loved the smell of it so much that I wanted to find a perfume that smelled just like it, and I found that!! And a big bonus is that it is from the line of a true icon, Elizabeth Taylor! It is a gorgeous scent that instantly brings me back to the garden center! I was afraid that it was going to be too mature and overpowering, but it is a fresh scent and not too heavy! Smells just like the flower! The shipping was shockingly FAST to Norway!

I've been using Elizabeth Taylor Gardenia for many years. For me it's a "Go-To" when I'm either in a rush, Don't know what to wear that day or Just want a little something but don't want to be perfumeless. It's a very lovely subtle floral Gardenia with a pleasant balsamic undertone. The perfume stays close to the skin with short to moderate longevity. It's a very pretty floral that's very a fresh natural scented perfume. By that, I mean it doesn't smell synthetic. It doesn't have an overpowering, overly floral, in-your-face, synthetic scent. It smells very clean (not soapy clean- fresh picked flower clean) Opens with a nice little blast of L.O.T.V which quickly fades into a very fresh and natural Gardenia~Orchid blend, with a nice Amber/sandalwood base. A sleek contemporary shaped bottle that's a nice dark Emerald Green with a clear-frosted glass Gardenia blossom as a cap. This is a very very nice well made perfume. The low price makes it an excellent investment. *I sometimes will spray my hair brush with a few sprays of E.T.'s Gardenia. Then brush my hair. My hair always smells like Gardenias. Everyone always compliments me one how nice my hair smells.

Ok I'm not sure why the reviews for this perfume are so good because I'm pretty easy going when it comes to trying different scents, but this perfume smells absolutely horrible! It smells like Limacol. It's a sickly smell that I associate with hospitals in the 90s. A green sickly sweetish smell. Thankfully although it is quite powerful in the beginning it doesn't last very long. After an hour it faded. Disappointing is the least of it. Definitely try before you buy.

If you love the smell of fresh cut gardenas then this is the perfume for you. It is a very refreshing but strong scent. Elizabeth Taylor's Gardenia perfume perfume lasts throughout the day and has the cutest perfume bottle. My husband says it smells like an old lady perfume but I think it smells just divine. What can I say, I love the smell of gardenas and now I have a perfume that lets me wear the scent all day long.

I bought this because Gardenia is my favorite smell in the whole world. The fragrance is amazing it smells just like the flower. The bottle is gorgeous it's green with a Gardenia flower as the top. It is made by Elizabeth Taylor who has many different fragrances. I bought this at Ross for under 20 bucks and it's was well worth the price.

A memorable encounter

This was my first "grown up fragrance" my mother chose it for me, saying it was "appropriate" for a young girl" That was many years ago! recently ran into an old beau, he commented that he recalled the memorable scent I was wearing. He remembered it well, it was a long time ago! I have gone back to it often, thinking " it is appropriate for an older woman" !

I will Consistently keep this in my perfume rotation

House of Liz aka Elizabeth Taylor's Gardenia. Starts off with a blast of true fresh/green LOTV. Followed by a mellower ( but not weak, but not too strong) Authentic Lovely living Gardenia. It pretty much stays this way throughout the duration of the wear of the perfume until the last few hours when bits of an ambery note, mixed in with the Gardenia. The perfume has fairly strong silage the first hour or so depending on your skin type and your tolerance for fragrances. After the first hour it calms down to a very respectful silage. Enough where others within about 16 inches can smell it. Though you can still smell the perfume, (but may be anosmic to the scent a bit.). Lovely and light- but not what I wanted

I love gardenia and was looking for a Gardenia scent as I no longer have the Gardenia oil I once had. I saw this and it looked so pretty and was at least reasonably priced.Well.. while I love the definite Gardenia scent( light airy floral and softly sensual) , there was another definite scent that ( to me!) smells like *Magnolia*.Now, I don't hate Magnolia, but I wanted the Gardenia only!The Magnolia (or whatever it is) isn't a subtle scent that brings out the Gardenia- it's another scent!However my best friend loved it and is very pleased with it so I gladly gave it to her and she's enjoying it. :-)

Really nice

I had never smelt this parfum before. My daughter said I would like this scent, so I brough it to try it. I was surprised at how nice it was. It is light and not over powering. It doesn't linger on your clothes like some parfum does. It makes you feel happy. My daughter was so right. I brought her a bottle of and she said it was as she remembered it to be. It comes in a very beautiful bottle. I use it when I want to feel special and it puts a smile on my face.

Refreshing gardenia scent

The Elizabeth Taylor Gardenia perfume has a fragrance very similar to fresh gardenias. Reminds me of the flowers every time I smell it. Had a long lasting fragrance. The green glass bottle with a gardenia as the the lid is very pretty. I gave it to my daughter as a gift and she loves it.
