Gardeon Cast Iron Garden Bench - Bronze

This is a very good-looking garden bench. it's also sturdy and easy to assemble - definitely a two-person job though. Yet to discover whether it is really rust resistant. Expect to find out soon as mine is placed outside in all weathers. It is comfortable to sit on but would definitely benefit from a bench cushion. Good value for money, can recommend.

Reasonably priced but crappy workmanship.Within a week of being outdoors rust started to appeared at the welding joints on back rest.Had to remove rust and re-paint (first using a primer).Certainly wouldn't recommend this product to anyone else.Can't provide pics as it now been re-painted.

Really impressed with this garden bench. Arrived as a flat pack, but easy to assemble using only 8 bolts (supplied). The product seems well made and the design is stylish with a classic look cast iron lacework back panel. The seat is quite sturdy and will easily fit 2 people.

I forgot to take into account how hot this item will get in full sunlight because it is painted black! Can't touch let alone sit on. This replaces another bench seat which I purchased previously made of timber.Suggest it needs a further cross brace between legs for further rigidity. The weight in the back rest compared to other square channel metal construction makes it feel more unstable.

Two weeks after I assembled this outdoor bench, it started rusting. I sent photos of this to MyDeal and they replied, "...please note that the bench is not made of stainless steel and is therefore prone to rust over time, especially when exposed to moisture or humid conditions". The original ad online described the outdoor bench as weather resistant. The company then advised me on how to clean the rust off. If you want a hard wearing weatherproof outdoor bench, DONT BUY THIS PRODUCT!

Had purchased one earlier and assembled, left out in the rain for over week. On closer inspection found rust around the weld spots on the back pattern. Cleaned up the rust then resprayed all the screws, joints and welding with a outdoors clear coat. This also made the whole seat look good. Would recommend doing this as a sealant. As I said on my previous purchase the bench is comfortable and light in weight.

Product and quality looks good, but box arrived badly damaged and taped up in several places. ALL nuts, bolts, washers and tools were/are missing! I'm still trying to sort this with MyDeal as the seat is currently unusable.UPDATE - MYDEAL REFUNDED HALF MY PAYMENT AT MY SUGGESTION. REVIEW UPGRADED TO FOUR STARS FOR PROMPT RESPONSE.

Looked gorgeous for 5 minutes. Meant to be OUTDOOR furniture but even a small drizzle of rain has left it covered in rust spots that I can’t remove! Should have said outdoor furniture undercover only. Very disappointing!

Simple solution

We were looking for a bench for the walkway outside our business to provide mask relief for clients and staff. This one suited the look. One minor issue. One of the screws lacked a thread. I was able to replace this at Bunnings fortunately. It's light, comfortable sturdy and clean lined. Much appreciated by all.
