Up graded my old faithful Garmin gps as worn out from so much use and new model more accurate and quicker to load

I bought the Fenix watch for my husband for his big birthday but just didn’t get on with it as he couldn’t see the dial so he now has the Garmin 65 and seems to be getting the hang of it gradually. Used it field a walk in Scotland last week and it worked well. He’s looking forward to the two day course next month.

Whether I am using Garmin's rechargeable batteries or AA lipo batteries, I am lucky to get a full day on the trail before the power is shot. I have tried all the "save" settings to no avail. I like the unit, but I don't like having to cart around extra batteries if I am on the trail for more than a day.
