I like Garmin because it’s easy to use. For a. VHF, I think this one is a little overpriced for what it does. For this price I think the AIS should be included. I bought this thinking it will be more compatible with the radar and GPS. Not sure if it will matter though. BOE marine is a great place to buy from. Shipping is fast and there responses to my email are pretty quick. Thank you.

This unit was so easy to install. Just plug and play! Once I had It installed, It connected with my Garmin Nema network and I could see all the boats around me on my navigation screen right away! The information It provides helps to keep us safe by knowing the speed, size and other details of the boats around us.

Functions as described in the listingHad hoped it would fit into the same cut out in my instrument panel as the non AIS Garmin 200 it was replacing but had to enlarge the opening by 1/2 an “ or so to accommodate both length and width.

Has all the necessary functionality and good output power. Initial unit purchased stopped having any output power and blew a few fuses. Replaced the unit and it's been good since
